Politicians lie. Dem, Reps, BullMoose party or Whigs. Nowhere is it written that every word a pol says to a reporter must be true. Those of you who are just oozing pure hatred for Bush should ask yourselves why you are so emotional about a political figure you don’t personally know. Might you have been programmed over the years by the corporate media who lie to us daily? Love or hate towards a stranger is inappropriate.

Big surprise here. He’s been lying to this country for the past five years this administration has gone through staff members like people change their underwear. With all the staff change that has been going on (including Rumsfeld resignation) this is bound (hopefully) blow up in their faces. This ladies and gentlemen is the begining of the day of reckoning that we’ve all been waiting for it’s about high time that they answer for what they’ve done and each and every one of them have been fired or quit like cowards. They are probably rueing the day that they got too overconfident thus seeing themselves at the losing end and for what they really are…….crooks.
I truly believe that Bush will get impeached soon before the end of his term and walk out as a the worst president in history.
Lastly (not to get off topic here but let me write this down) as for the reporter who wrote this and all the bloggers kudos to you guys some of you bloggers have some very good thoughts and writing on here.

Impeach and prosecute and EXECUTE these war criminals and make america look like it may have some ethics or morals or an actual sense of world justice.
Or just let him retire to NAZI land with his grampa’s buddies in south america and look like corrupt asshole good ol’ boys ready for the next illegal war for resources.
They are real criminals to the real world even if they are an illegal unelected government and americans are ignorant enough to not see reality for what it truly is.

Don’t be so hard on our president, he is merely acting out his training and education as a CEO. I’m sure he got an ‘A’ in, ‘Finding Scapegoats 101′. That course alone was worth 1000 credits. The concurrent course, ‘Firing Scapegoats: Planning and Timing 101′ was certainly helpful. And since every CEO president must have a board of directors (or we the people) it is his duty to make them/us feel confident in his abilities and intellect to lead the nation. That required taking the course called, ‘Deceiving The Board 101.’ In this class one learns the power of misinformation, receipes for cooking books, the magic of the TOP SECRET stamp, bribery as a business expense, the advantages of crony loyalty and knowing when to sacrifice them to save your ass.

Does anyone find interesting Bush’s explanation for not letting Rumsfeld prior to the election? He’s given an explanation that should piss off just about everyone. The Republicans who were trying to distance themselves from the war may have benefitted from having Rumsfeld gone early and been reelected. Thus the Senate and House were lost to the Republicans due to Bush’s failure to rid himself of this liability.

More seriously, a change prior to the election may have changed the strategy that has cost over 100 American soldiers and thousands of Iraqis. Bush has said that this was a political calculation to pander to his conservative base. Thus thousands of Americans and Iraqis are dead based upon a domestic political calculation. This is criminal. Anyway just an idea – does anyone think this but me or has someone written about this already. If that’s so please let me know where. Thanks!

What Bush said was not true. How does that turn into “Bush didn’t lie”? And, by your own logic (?), you can use the same argument for Clinton’s lie. If you still feel the need to revisit the Clinton presidency again.

Ms. Poplins, how is it that the media was not “fair” to Bush? Their job is to ask questions, get information, keep the public informed, and keep watch on the politicians (as we’ve seen over and over again these last six years that they need watching). Many people were calling for Rumsfeld. The media asked the question, what are you going to do about Mr. Rumsfeld? Bush can respond however he likes, as long as he doesn’t lie. Apparently he’s just not up to the job he agreed to do.
