  6. Texas Juice says:

THATS STILL TOO HIGH!!!!!! How does 33 percent of the American public continue to be morons???? This guy (POTUS) can do the dumbest stuff, support the most vile, corrupt and inept politicians; he can lie, lie, lie and its all okay!

Do his supporters just think that anything is better than looking at, or supporting a politician who can lead strongly from the center? They are going to be sooooooooo sorry in ‘08. WHOEVER wins in ‘08 will be centrist, or to the left of center. John McCain might sell his soul to Falwell to get elected but, I bet he will kick ass and take it back if he wins. He remembers the crap they dished out on him in the past.

America is starting to wake up, lets hope the stimuli continues.

Re: 1994 – I guess after 40 years of Dem rule – IT was a stampede! After voters chose more gun-toting pro-life, moderate Dems, you might want to hold up a little on the “new-speak” regarding prog “mandate”. Dems gave voters NOTHING to vote FOR – - except “we’re not them”.

People thought they were voting for a new course in American foreign policy, but will they get what they voted for? The new Congress, swept into office on a wave of antiwar sentiment, is not guaranteed to pursue any of the goals of the antiwar movement.
    Prominent among those goals:

1/ An investigation into how and by whom we were lied into war.
2/ The announcement of a definite timetable for the withdrawal of U.S. troops.
3/ A regional settlement of the outstanding issues between Iran and the United States, beginning with negotiations in good faith with Tehran and a ratcheting-down of the rhetoric emanating from Washington.

    The Baker Iraq Study Group.
    Conclusion
    Blair outlines Iran ‘partnership’ plan
Tony Blair will tonight set out the terms for a “new partnership” with Iran and Syria as part of a new approach to resolving the crisis in Iraq.
The prime minister will accuse Tehran of backing terrorism in Iraq, Lebanon and Palestine to thwart international efforts to block Iran’s nuclear ambitions.

WE HAVE ALL BEEN DUPED ……. STAY THE COURSE BLAME IRAN AND MORE WAR THE NEW ANSWER

I wonder (since I haven’t seen it proposed anywhere) whether the dropping of Rumsfeld — after Bush had insisted he would be true blue and keep his good buddy by his side until the bitter end — had any effect on these post-election polls (Newsweek at 31 and Gallup at 33).

BAGHDAD, Nov 13 (Reuters) – U.S. President George W. Bush was under pressure from some of his closest allies on Monday to turn to arch enemies Iran and Syria for help in stabilizing Iraq amid Iraqi government paralysis and fears of all-out civil war.

MORE WAR MORE WAR MORE WAR MORE WAR

They blame Iran and Syria looks like were staying the course AGAIN

With that post by Mighty Afraidwhitey, I guess I have to cross off him/her off my list of suspects for this far right lunatic.

  16. DRxJ says:

off topic, dlet (#16), but it appears that the suspect had ties to the NEW Republic blog.
geez, no hatred among the right blogs, eh?

  17. DRxJ says:

but seriously, need mighty post something? anything?

  18. dlet says:

The one thing that I take heart to from these recent polls is that while there always seems to be the 33% of “The Emperor has clothes” group, the percentage of people that actually disapprove of his job performance seems to be rising.

  19. DRxJ says:

    regarding 17 and 18…
No, I’m not drunk, just typing illiterate.
17 should read FREE Republic, not NEW
and 18 should read did might post something? not need mighty…?
Okay, maybe I should give up being a smart ass?
    NAHHH

  21. Isis says:

Another poll said 31% – either way….it’s “tank city” for him. I suspect that the truth is closer to 28% and falling…

  23. JaneESchneider says:

Tobey, GW, what does that mean? The “out of memory line 126″ message? I’ve been getting that for the last several days.

  24. Squidbilly says:

At least we can say America has finally woken up and has smelled the coffee……and it’s burnt.

  25. Willy says:

The White House and the Republicans who support their policies are the Keystone Cops. And they still have 33% of the people drinking the kool aid?

  27. loretta says:

who are these 33%, and where the hell are they? I’m sorry, but this is beyond comprehension. Are there that many millionaires, oil execs and defense stockholders?
