This, I take it is what Bush meant when he said we’d beat the limits imposed by Kyoto and we’d do it without ruining the economy. I guess I just didn’t realize which direction he was trying for.

Real mature. If it’s the right thing to do, you not off the hook because some other idiot doesn’t want to help. If it’s not the right thing to do, then you shouldn’t have to say “Well He’s not doing it, so why should we?” I didn’t buy that kind of crap when the Republicans said No in the first place. Why should I buy it when you say it?
I always thought one should set one’s moral compass by the best possible example, not the worst.. but then again I wonder where we (Canadians) rank.. 52nd?
China and Saudi-Arabia are the two best buddies of Republican America. They have either lots of oil or lots of cheap labour. These are the only two ways the republicans know about to make money.

November 14th, 2006 at 1:55 pm“We don’t have any winners, we only have countries that are better compared to others”
Isn’t this what they’re trying to do to recess and gym?
Also, I would like to see if this takes into account factors such as population/economic growth rate, my money says it dosn’t.
