You are right about one thing. I am a support Marine. My primary MOS is 3537 (Motor Transportation Chief) but I am currently working as a web administrator, and Information Management Officer for a Marine Logistics Group consisting of over 7000 Marines.

I went to boot camp May 24, 1993 in San Diego and I am currently still on active duty. I spent my 2003 tour at Camp Fox supporting operations and my 2005 tour at Camp Taqaddum. It is a large airbase that was used by the Iraqi Air Force. It is the one that was featured in many publications with photos of aircraft buried in the sand dunes.

I am far from a teenager. I am 36 years old. I am far from the PX ranger you claim me to be. Every award I have received, I earned.

I do not lack compassion for the people in Iraq in the least. I wish for them to have a long, prosperous life with out the involvement of our government or any other foreign influence.

As for the play station comment, I do not ever own one. I am too busy raising my 3 children.

If you indeed earned those awards through military service, why aren’t you acting accordingly? Childish displays, temper tantrums and making demands you are in no position to make does not support your claims nor does your behavior reflect favorably upon anyone representing the US Military. If you served in the Military, why not simply elaborate on your experiences rather than whine, threaten, and claim to have an obviously fake DD214? I imagine if you do have a service record in your possession, you no doubt removed it from your father’s file cabinet or you found one with a google search to claim as your own. And if there is some remote chance in hell that you indeed served, which I doubt, you were no doubt in the rear with the gear. But judging from your atrocious grammar and spelling, I doubt you would survive as a desk jockey, much less Basic Training. So I’ll stick with my first hunch that you somehow have access to your Daddy’s DD214, dress up in his old uniform while you play shooting games on the Sony Playstation, and fantasize about shooting brown people for Bush. You certainly don’t pass the stink test in any sense. You need help kid. The world isn’t a giant video game. War is serious business and it shouldn’t be waged against people based on a pack of lies. I suggest you take an ethics class or seek some professional help for your problem. In the midterm elections, 40% of eligable voters votes. Of those 50% voted for Democrats. So 1/2 of 40% is 20% of eligable voters voted for Democrats, tht is hardly a majority of Americans. By using your logic, 80% of eligable voters did not vote for Democrats.

Saddam violated UN mandates how many times? 17 at least. And the fat cats at teh UN kept allowing it. Finally 42 nations took a stand and acted when the UN failed to act. But every one wants to fault the U.S. and Bush.

On thing people need to keep in mind is that in order for us to have stayed in Iraq so long, the Congress had to approve it. We have been there almost 4 years nad the congress has approved the funding at least 6 times.

Do not misunderstand me, I do feel bad for the innocent killed and wounded. It does not matter if it was by U.S., Brits, or the Insurgents (mostly non-Iraqis and non-Arabs)

I agree we need a new course in Iraq. But I do not think that withdrawl is the right one.

Notice the death toll of 600,000 in Iraq occurred “since” the US led invasion. That means it occured after and as a direct result of the US led invasion. In simple terms, if you still dont get it, that means that if the US hadn’t invaded Iraq, 600,000 people would still be alive. Iraq would also have it’s infrastructure intact. And Bush & Republicans wouldn’t resemble the other historical figures that have committed genocide while occupying foreign countries. Reference Hitler, Stalin, Mao Zedong, & Milosevic for examples of similarities to Bush and Republicans.

If you were there twice Robert, you wouldn’t be relying on “hearing stories” to receive your intel. You’ve never been anywhere. And we all supported Bush initially because he lied to us. As for the 650,000 Iraqis that have died. Did they all die by the hands of the U.S? No, they did not. A VAST majority have been killed by either their own people or by the insergency. How often do we hear stories about a Suni going into a Shite marked and blowing himself up while killing 15 or twenty INNOCENTS that are just trying to get a loaf of bread. This is not something that the U.S. created. It is very much a part of their culture. Read a little about their history and you might get a clue.

And do not even begin to lecture me about the dead, wounded and troubled military members. I AM ONE OF THEM. I have been there twice and was decorated both time. I am VERY proud of my service to my country and for the positive things I have done in Iraq. You however are ignorant enough to believe only what you see on CNN. You fall in to the trap that all the news from Iraq is bad. I was there for their FIRST elections. I have seen several schools open and aid rendered to countless numbers of Iraqis. I have been there to see the Iraqi men run out ov there houses and shake our hands, offer us food and drink and thank us for our presence.

Your qualifying the trival comments made by Kerry and Clinton’s consentual sexual indiscretions as somehow equal to the mass murder, rape, torture, thievery, and utter corruption the Republicans and the Bush administration are responsible for is an insult to the highest degree.
