141, you say, Who should care about l’affaire OJ? I personally don’t, and neither do most people outside of the Goldman/Brown families, who, in fact, care quite a lot. They are into revenge, which in the end, v. Christ & New Testament scripture, is not The Way. Leaving all of this aside, the reason why people care has nothing to do with OJ, but rather the unbelievably craven depths to which commercial Tee Vee will sink for ratings during sweep week. THAT’S the reason l’affaire has caused such a stir. The larger issue is: why in the world does a man already a billionaire many times over feel the unending need to accumulate yet more wealth? What is it with people like this? Michael Nagler has it right: Tee Vee is the enemy of democracy and of intelligent dialog in this country: the stated goal of the neothugs has been, right from the start now 25 years ago, to conquer through causing division among our people. Their capture of the media outlets has been used to promote this agenda, with faux the most blatant example in view at the moment. We should all pledge here, as Nagler asks, to boycott the sonofabitch now and forever, save for satellite channels U select for your own viewing apart from the mainpisstream media.

Your friends, in the LAPD, claim that “to their knowledge” (Kaelin) wasn’t employed by the LAPD.

OK, so what kind of Intell angency publishes or open-sources the names of their detectives, agents or operatives? C’mon, Sparky, THINK! It’s not like “Spy Vs. Spy” in Mad Magazine where the spooks and agents caper about in white or black fedoras. Neither do they wear t-shirts with “spy” on the front in big bold letters for all to read.

Further, do any of you actually believe that IF a cop knew that ANOTHER cop was detailed to a deep-cover unit, that ANY open discussion of that covert op would take place?

Someone at Fox Broadcasting had to have lost their mind to even consider this absurd idea.

I was an OJ trial junky 11 years ago. Today, I did not intend to give him one minute of my time to either read a sentence of his book or watch a minute of his interview.

This man is inhuman. His moral fiber is disconnected and I consider him an insult to the human race.

What was Murdoch thinking when he decided to support this? I’ll tell you what he was thinking – the mighty dollar. Although he has now decided not to air this after public outcry, he did not dig very deep into his moral conscience until he was forced to do so. If this was his son or daughter that was murdered, would he have even given this idea a millisecond of thought? Shame on you Fox Broadcasting and Murdoch.

Shame on Chapter/Indigo in Toronto, a bookstore I used to support until now, for deciding to sell the book if it came out. I will not shop there any longer simply because they TOO intended to stock it. Shame on everyone who could not think past the color green.

Actually CBS kind of reported on the OJ interview on it’s Sunday morning show. Some old white guy (All old white guys look the same to me) was saying stuff about how he does not like to comment on other new casters choice of interviews/stories but he agreed with the owners of some local stations that were refusing to carry the interview.

What’s the big hub bub about anyway? Let’s say OJ does go on tv and confesses. Would that change the world? Will it bring peace to the Middle East. End stravation? End opression of the weak? I think not but it would give the news heads something to talk about incessiantly for a few days.

Who cares? TV is crap any way. People watch crap everyday. What’s a little more crap? I loves me a good O’Reilly rant. It makes me all tingling inside. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm tingles

The jurors in the criminal trial knew OJ was guilty but were tired of the unethical practices of the LAPD and decided to make an example out of them. Ah yes. this is the new mantra on the far right. They are now putting out that anyone left of them are zombie robots awaiting our orders from Markos of the Daily Kos. I’ve seen a couple of stories in regards to this line over the past few weeks.
What it is is that they are taking the theory of John Dean’s Conservatives without Conscience and the charge of the parrotting of the wingnuts over what is discussed for the day by Limbaugh, ect. and trying to turn it into the left being this way and the blogs as our evil masters.
My son also saw Oreilly ranting about the machines as well. He thinks machines are destroying society. Rage against the Machine(s)
