“Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger (R-CA) appointed or assigned dozens of staff members this year to high-paying jobs elsewhere in state government — some of them to six-figure posts he once said were a waste of taxpayer money and should be eliminated,” the AP reports. “Schwarzenegger also gave six former staffers jobs with state boards and commissions he previously tried to dismantle.”

GOPers are always corrupt and do patronage crap as well. Shame on Arnold!
November 22nd, 2006 at 11:50 amWell at least he did this after he was re-elected. This might have been something that many people would take an issue with. Start watching these state voards and commissions to deteriorate rom the inside. Taken right from the Republican playbook. If you can’t get the people to get rid of the things you want to dismantle appoint your cronies as the Director and ruin it from the inside. To hell with what the people think. Next in line is for him to go back on his environmental issues promises.
November 22nd, 2006 at 11:55 amHey, you stole my line!!

November 22nd, 2006 at 12:42 pmAh yes, the Gropinator reverts to type after pretending to be RINO right before the election. What a surprise. *yawn*
November 22nd, 2006 at 12:43 pmIt is so sad that we in California put Arnold the pig back in office. Angelides or anyone else would have been better. Now we’re stuck with this a**hole. And yes, he will backpeddle on everything he said to get elected.
November 22nd, 2006 at 1:41 pmMaliki may be getting his walking papers. George is going with Aziz. Someone more to his liking.
November 22nd, 2006 at 2:34 pmJust another astute foreign policy decision by the “decider”.
When you have to turn in your “power”, you take the “money”. Greed above all else!
November 22nd, 2006 at 2:42 pmMitt is polished at this game as well.
Arnie did good by making the people of California voters believe he had changed. Look for more corruption to come as Arnie makes fools of us all once again.
November 22nd, 2006 at 3:23 pmThe sheep would vote in a fence post,as long as it was republican….no hope for the last percent of them.
November 22nd, 2006 at 4:35 pmCalifornian’s who voted not once but twice for the governor deserve whatever comes their way.
November 22nd, 2006 at 9:42 pmPete Wilson was the puppeteer the first term and I’m not certain who’s “advising” him this time around. Unfortunately I must live with the consequences of voters who do not do their homework before pulling the lever.
Oh, be ware the trojan horse.
If it moves like a Republican and talks like a Republican, it’s a Republican.
