I am thankful I had the energy to cook a good meal for myself and several retired vet’s and working poor neighbors. I am blessed with their friendship and knoledge….I am thankful for all the posters and their kindness and knoledge they have shared…..Thank’s to TP I have learned much this past year….Many great post’s here today as usual, and I thank you for sharing..

I will not be truly thankful untill all the war’s, famin, and global distruction are ended……Untill then I have an attitude of gratitude for what I do have and the ability to share with others…Blessings all…….Peace…

The Nation for telling the truth about the election unlike Time which prefers to downplay the Democrat’s rise and Speaker Pelosi’s ascending to power by bringing up the “centrist” crap or Pelosi’s alleged “failure” of selecting a majority leader. The Nation and Mother Jones still tell the truth and knows how important it is that Pelosi, is a young at heart grandma who,along with Howard Dean, kicked ass.

The Dixie Chicks for releasing the best country album of the year. Too bad the country music awards decided that Carrie Underwood and Rascal Flatts are more worthy. The Grammys will change that.

Johnny Cash for releasing the second best country album of the year.

Steve Colbert: Took our angst over the Bush White House and shoved it right in Bush’s face.

Now, the other extreme: India. They have a lot of cows, they cruise the streets, they stop traffic, they can go everywhere, etc. and India is one of the poorest countries in the world with severe malnutrition problems.

T has decided she wants to remain instate for the immediate future. She has developed a fear of “losing people” and especially me. I am hoping she decides to transfer after a year. She is entirely to progressive for this state.
