Words are just words are just words are just words, right?
But, I am proud to state that as I entered adulthood of objective thinking (heh), I decided (way before the OJ trial) to never utter the N word and the C word. I have almost always kept to that promise, except when I’m alone, in my car, singing along with 50 Cent, and the evil N word pops up lyrically. Even then, I don’t sing it, but I still hear it.
Trust me, being caucasion and even singing the N word is not cool.
As for the C word…totally degrading, and I have never used it. I prefer Tender Trap, or Sugar Walls, myself!

That particular word has always made me cringe. Not the word, I guess, but how it’s delivered. Sort of like the n-word, which I never use.
