Well, that’s gonna be the big story of the day, that this here Iraq Study Group is buttin’ in and puttin’ in they two cents worth on what’s the Preznit’s business.

Just cuz it’s headed up by the bestest buddy of the Preznit’s daddy, they thinks they got a right to tell Preznit Bush Jr. how to run the war. And that’s just nonsense! Preznit Bush Jr. knows what he’s doin’. That’s why he’s the Preznit. And I’m sure as my name’s Billy that Preznit Bush Jr. is gonna give this here report all due consideration — which happens to be NONE!!!

Listen to what these goomers are tellin’ the Preznit… that we’s facin’ “a grave and deteriorating situation” — that if the situation continues to deteriorate, there is a risk of a “slide toward chaos (that) could trigger the collapse of Iraq’s government and a humanitarian catastrophe.”

The report called for the administration to try to engage Syria and Iran in diplomacy as part of an effort to bring stability to Iraq — even though Preznit Bush Jr. has said previously he would not negotiate with either country. And he WON’T, although he did say he’d deal with this here report in a timely fashion — which tells me the plumbers at the White House will be fishin’ out chunks of this here report out of the pipes after the Preznit flushes it down where it belongs.

    Mercy!

GWB: B..b..but, but, I’m the DECIDER!!! Waaaah!!

  3. Ty Hutchinson says:

Why release it? Most has leaked out already and none of it will be acted upon by the Bush administration.

  4. Republican Corporate Oil & War Machine Monopoly says:

Trucker makes a good point. Bush knows about as much about foreign affairs as a trucker knows. Guess how much that is?

  5. Tony W says:

And why we are waiting for this report, we shoald all congratulate Darth Vader’s lesbian daughter’s pregnancy. Let’s hope the people at Faux News don’t ask any embarassing questions as to “who’s the Daddy?”,”How did the actually conception occur”, and “Will her lesbian lover be allowed in the delivery room?” I’m sure if Bill Clinton’s unwed adult child got pregnant Faux News would show the constaint they have been famous for.

  6. Kay says:

and it will be on the New York Times FICTION bestseller list tomorrow (just like the 9/11 report)

  7. The Trucker Pundit says:

Well the idiots have arrived at Think Progress. What, run out of room at huffpo?

Regarding the article, I agree with the last point, that the money allocated for Iraq and “terror” related expenses should not be supplementary, it should be in the regular budget. However, if we’re going to increase economic assistance, then there is going to have to be a lot more control and regional/international presence. Otherwise that money will just go to the militias and cronies and line politicians pockets, not end up in infrastructure or job creation.

  10. Bruce Gorton says:

Major flaws in the report; just on first glance:

It seems to believe that only those Palestinians who believe Israel has the right to exist, are interfering in Iraq. Otherwise it wouldn’t specifically exclude those who don’t, on asking them to stop it.

Believes that those same countries that are interfering now, will really take America seriously when it asks them to stop it. It assumes Iran, which has been at war with Iraq before, and benefits from a higher oil price, really cares about Iraqi stability.

Includes maintaining Military support as an incentive for the Iraqi government to get its act together – the Iraq president has specifically stated that he wants America out of there.

The thing is a PDF. I hate PDF.

  11. Wordsmith says:

Anyone heard where to get a FREE copy, not in PDF form, like say – BOOK form?

So, your saying that you want to completely change how it is being done in Iraq currently. I don’t think Bush or any of his buddies wants that.

  13. Rebel In CA says:

Since the Shrub’s reading level does not rise above “My Pet Goat” who will explain to him what is in the report?

  14. Jericho says:

I am done taking apart Bush’s talking points. Like a wise man once said: DONT ARGUE WITH FOOLS BECAUSE PEOPLE MAY NOT SEE THE DIFFERENCE

When God put Samantha #9 together, in his infinite wisdom, he forgot to give her a satire bone. Poor kid.

  17. Darryl Mason says:

Here’s the short version of the Iraq Study Group report from ‘The Fourth World War’ blog :

“From recommending directly that negotiations begin with Iran and Syria to help end the war, to recognising the true cost of the war on the civilians of Iraq, from revealing that ethnic cleansing is a savage reality, to recognising that one of the chief causes of Muslim anger towards US policy is its tireless support of Israel’s low-boil war against the Palestinians, from boldy stating just how much American money has been wasted on the war, to admitting that many American soldiers’ lives were wasted on pointless missions, from detailing the murderous sprees undertaken by some members of the Iraqi Army and police force, to recognising the true number and power of the biggest Shiite militia force (60,000 strong) the Iraq Study Report is going to shock both supporters of the war and also its harshest critics.”

Only a Republican would find the sexual exploitation of women and children to be a source of amusement.

From the looks of you Perverted Republican Trucker and your website, I’m sure she needed the money really bad. Her pimp probably told her she’d receive another beating if she didn’t put out for your stupid ass.
