NBC correspondent Tom Aspell:

“Most Iraqis are unaware of the Iraq Study Group report. … Their primary concern is survival, particularly those living in the central part of the country where sectarian violence, unemployment and poor infrastructure make daily life a dangerous and difficult struggle.”

Kevin has his good job so screw these people. Kevin is the most important person in the world. As long as he has money everybody else can go to hell.

Iraqis could give one wit about some “western imperialist study” right now.

They are too busy trying to survive the killing. If that doesn`t get them the injuries will.If that doesn`t get them the starvation will.

Let`s not forget the majority of Iraqis these days don`t come home after work, put in a pizza, crack open a brewski and watch the local news before dinner.

  3. Zooey says:

The Iraqis don’t care about the report. They’ll just be thrilled to see the end of this hell we’ve created for them. It will be a long time before that happens…

At least somebody in the conservative media is starting to point out that life is maybe a bit more tough in Iraq than in Washington, DC, New York City, or wherever else the Republicans compare Iraq to.

Thanks for thinking of me. But I hope the best for the people of Iraq. That’s the point.

To do list for average Iraqi:

    1. Wake up and make sure I’m not dead.

    2. Make sure my wife and children are present and alive

    3. Plan a way to get water without getting blown up.

    4. Try to find a moment without fear of death.

    5. Ignore those nagging injuries and infections

    6. Greive over the loss of the entire family that used to live next door.

    7. Find food.

    8. Hold my wife and children

    9. Shit pants if anyone comes to the door

    10. Read and evaluate the United States’ Iraq study group report, make consructive comments, peer review with others, and have a freindly debate with Iraqi’s from a different sect.

sounds just like philadelphia to me.

    Kevin,

Hoping for the best for the Iraqi people, and then supporting their death and destruction is hypocritical. I bet you attend Church every Sunday. Wipe the slate clean once a week, ay Kev?

It is the thought that counts, isn’t it, Kevin? STFU.

  10. The Trucker Pundit says:

Ain’t it just TYPICAL of these here Iraq people? Here we is, tryin’ our damndest to whup a democracy on ‘em and they can’t take out five minutes from tryin’ to stay alive to read about what we’re gonna do to turn these here savages into GOP-votin’ CHRISTIAN folk, like what God intended.

They just ain’t no gratitude out there, is what…

  11. Zooey says:

    Trucker Pundit,

    Are you from Idaho?

    I think we’ve met. :)

  12. Glenn Becker says:

Whew, yes, my tax dollars at work. :(

I want to believe that eventually, the swollen testes of the USA will eventually stop vibrating and the country, like one giant recently-enraged mandrill, will be satisfied that “revenge” has been exacted upon … uh … well, let’s see here (shuffles papers) … um, a whole crapload of people who had nothing to do, apparently, with what we were seeking “revenge” for.

  13. The Trucker Pundit says:

Well there, #11 Zooey, I been in all 50, so we mighta… I only been sober in about 18 of ‘em, though… but we still mighta…

Why are you wasting your beautiful mind on these people, you have money to make and a good job and a great life, so who cares wbou these people. Jerk.

  15. Zooey says:

Well, Trucker, I’ve never been sober in Idaho, you understand, so it’s possible neither of us would remember…heh.

The troops are trying to stop the killers from killing people. The anger you feel for me should be pointed at the insurgents that are killing there own people. But go on and tell me that our troops are the killers and every dead body in Iraq has an American bullet in it.

I never said anything about the troops. I only spoke of your dumb ass. Once again, you have to attribute false statements to try and make somebody look bad. You are a stupid dip shit. When was the last time you had the title “Troop” or “Soldier” before or after your name? You fu*king moronic piece of garbage.

Argue facts or quote something. Stop making shEt up. People usually stop doing that after third grade. Excluding dumb ass neo-cons that is.

Also, what you describe here is called a civil war. Don’t let your masters here you say Iraq is in a civil war or you might not get to lick their boots tonight.

  19. DutchHenry says:

Just as indicated earlier the ISG is for (US)domestic propaganda. And hence it has failed even before generating it’s sham report.Note not one Arab scholar in the group instead a bunch of Corrupt politicos. How the folks fighting for their lives in Iraq will respect this BS is beyond reason. It’s another failure,How is that for US foreign policy.
