First, they are both Democrats. Faced with this fact, a fair minded Republican voter would choose the candidate who they trust the most, and who is most qualified. But, the divisiveness between the parties as of late would make the not-so-fair-minded Republican voter do something that could damage the opponent. We’ve seen, clearly, that the Republicans on a whole are more interested in keeping the party in power rather than doing what is good for our country.
