Congressman: ‘I Fear…We Will Have Many More Muslims In The United States’
Rep. Virgil Goode (R-VA) issued a letter to constituents earlier this month in which he declares, “I fear that in the next century we will have many more Muslims in the United States” if we do not adopt “strict immigration policies.” The letter was inadvertently sent to a local progressive activist, who shared it with the C-Ville Weekly newspaper.
In the letter, Goode references the election of Muslim Rep.-elect Keith Ellison (D-MN), and warns “American citizens” to “wake up” or “there will likely be many more Muslims elected to office”:
I do not subscribe to using the Koran in any way. The Muslim Representative from Minnesota was elected by the voters of that district and if American citizens don’t wake up and adopt the Virgil Goode position on immigration there will likely be many more Muslims elected to office and demanding the use of the Koran.
At another point in the letter, Goode describes telling a “Muslim student” who “came by my office” that the Koran will never be hung on his office wall:
The Ten Commandments and “In God We Trust” are on the wall in my office. A Muslim student came by the office and asked why I did not have anything on my wall about the Koran. My response was clear, “As long as I have the honor of representing the citizens of the 5th District of Virginia in the United States House of Representatives, The Koran is not going to be on the wall of my office.”
Goode’s bigoted views are no secret, and he uses them to justify more than his hardline immigration policy. Earlier this year, he announced that he opposed increasing the minimum wage because it would “be a magnet for illegal aliens to come to this country. We do not need a strong magnet to lure illegals here.”

I would suggest you go read the personal writings of Americas founding fathers (available on the Internet). I used to think the things you do, because I grew up in evangelical churchs… but when you go read it for yourself you find out that America is NOT Christianity. Some of the good ideals of Jesus WAS in the thinking of the founding fathers (as well as human history and other belief systems), but an established Christian church wasnt one of them.

#7 America is not a Christian nation. That may be the religion of the majority of it’s citizens, but America was not founded on Christianity, regardless of what the Right would like you to think. The founding fathers were Deists, for the most part, which led to certain concepts like the separation of church and state – a concept which, up until recently, helped the US stay out of bloody religious wars.

I am writing you in response to the letter you wrote to Mr. Cruickshank dated December 7, 2006. In which you go on to speak of the immigration policies of this nation, as well as your clear discontent you hold for anyone of the Muslim faith and the Koran in general.
I find it astounding that someone with your bigoted views would be able to actually hold a public office, let alone such a high one. But at the same time, as you disgrace yourself before the public with your utterly absurd remarks, you speak volumes, sir, not only about yourself, but of the people you represent. Not only are you clearly a bigot, but to be elected to a public office means that those that elected you appreciate your bigoted views. Though I highly doubt that the people who voted you into office share your views in regards to your discontent for Muslims, be them immigrants or not. To be able to pull the wool over the eyes of those you represent, only to thumb your nose at them after you are elected, showing your true colors. It’s pretty clear alot of muslims on earth believe in this concept. While I myself am an atheist – I don’t believe that religion, in the general sense, makes us any more or less primitive. I do believe, however, that religion is easily hijacked, and easily misinterpreted, but nevertheless was responsible for many great (and terrible) things in the history of the world. Take the music of Bach, for example, or the inquisition. What it boils down to is that religion is a tremendously powerful means of influencing humanity, and like anything else can be used for both good and evil.

See, people like you, Answeil Vachette, don’t actually study the religion you put all of your faith into. If you did, you’d know that the word that is mistranslated as “day” in modern Bibles does not say “day” in the original tongue. The word mistranslated as “day” is a generic word meaning “period of time”, which can more properly be translated as “Age” or “Epoch”.
In the same way that the Bible does not say, “Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live”, it says, “You shall not suffer a POISONER to live.” Just like Moses didn’t like 900 YEARS, he lived 900 lunar cycles (or months, if you will). Just like Adam and Eve are not said to be the first people, they are said to be the first People. That is to say, the first two members of The Chosen People. The Bible fully acknowledges that there were other people living beyond the Garden of Eden, who were of other tribes, and therefore not of The Chosen People. The laws of Judaism (and thus, of Christianity) are only meant to apply to The People, not all peoples.
Studying is hard, I know. But it is f***ing pathetic just how LITTLE so-called “devout” people know about their own religion. Agnosticism is so much more difficult, but so much more rewarding and logical. I have no idea if Deity exists, and noone, anywhere has EVER presented any actual evidence that Deity exists, merely their own word that Deity exists (much less has an active role in the day-to-day operations of our universe). I’m what is referred to as a ‘lapsed’ Catholic, but I’m starting to have serious thoughts about becoming active again. And, if I do become an active church-going Catholic again, I’ll be a member of the largest Christian denomination in the country. You know what that means? All you puny little minority Christian denominations had better watch out. I’m not worried about the Muslims or Jews. I’m going after the Baptists, who only have about a third the membership that Catholics have. I notice that Goode’s a Baptist. I think he’s going to get a little taste of majority rule. I’m also going after anyone who calls themselves “born again”. As far as I’m concerned, born-agains are heretics. And that’s not a danger from afar. That’s a danger from within.
I’m putting the quasi-Christian megachurches on notice right now. You’d better affiliate yourselves with a real denomination, and a major one at that, or I’m going to take you down. Most of them are way too political to be enjoying tax-exempt staus, anyway.
It’s majority rule for everything now. If you don’t belong to the biggest Christian denomination in the country, you’d better get used to not having your own way. We’re going to strip search Baptists like Goode at the airports, and we’re going to raid the megachurches and confiscate their assets.

The Bible says that anything sexual done out of wedlock is a sin, as is adultery. Homosexuality is not in fact named at all in the Bible except for some passages relating to, I believe, one of the Churches of Jerusalem (the Second, I think). They had an outbreak of red tide, and it killed most of their population. So they outlawed homosexuality IN THAT REGION, and required by law that all men and women of age GET MARRIED, and that noone was allowed to EAT SHELLFISH, so that they could recover their population. No other reason whatsoever. It was a matter of practicality: breed and contribute to the tribe, or be stoned to death.

I just think it’s facinating how some people can be so comfortable with their bigotry. If they didn’t think they could get away with it, they’d keep it to themselves. But, when they look at the numbers and see that their scapegoats aren’t that large a group and probably won’t be able to get back at them, they just let the epithets fly.

We the people of the United States in order to form a more perfect union chose to live here. We worked hard to build our country. We left our homelands and many of the policies and taboos of those homelands to become Americans. We studied to learn the ways of America and tried to fit in. We learned the language and for the most part respected the laws. After all that is why we wanted to get away form our old homeland and become Americans.
It seems the new breed of immigrants want to bring there problems here and make them our problems. Remember the reason we want to live here is to have the chance for freedom and prosperity that America gives. If we bring along the reasons we wanted to leave our old homes we still have those problems to deal with. It is not freedom for all if you bully or put down others. It only works when we respect each other and work together to build this great country.

But the key difference is that Christian’s can separate Religion and Politics, but Islam cannot. The two are bound together at the base of the religion, and that is the problem with more Muslim’s coming into the nation unhindered.
Personally I would say we need to restrict all immigration, but I agree that the Muslim immigration poses the greatest threat to the American way of life, and I for the life of me don’t understand how so many of you just don’t see that.

I agree that I am not as well versed in everything as I could be. And my honest stance is that all religion should be removed from the World. I can’t stand organized religion in any form.
With that said though, I do feel the Muslim religion presents a larger threat to the world than does any of the other major religions. Perhaps it is because it is younger than than the others, and has not had a chance to grow and evolve past the force our religion on everyone phase. I do think that the reality/threat of Sharia Law is the among the worst things in this world. The way people, women escpecially, are treated in Muslim states absolutely disgusts me. I welcome people who want to integrate into our society and make America better, but I do not think that the majority of Muslims want to integrate into our way of life as much as they want to change our way of life to accomadate them.
And in America, unlike Norway and Australia, we pander to people who want to change our way of life to suit their ideals. If we took a stance like some of the other Nations in the world and just said “If you want to come to America, then come to America as it is. Do not expect us us to change the way our culture is to fit yours.” But most people in this nation are too afraid to offend others to make such a statement, and that saddens me.
With Islamic Radicalism, I feel that their radicals are not so far from their base, unlike in Amercian Christianity where the radicals are pretty far from the base. If you really don’t think that Islam wants to be the only religion in the world (more so than the other religions) than perhaps you should read up a bit was well.

Within this Republic we have a Federal Goverment of which Mr. Goode is an elected part. Most of you are trying to interject Democratic thinking into your writing .. that is if you have proceeded your writing with any form of thinking at all. It’s really easy to write “crap” and “bigot” when you have no clue what you’re talking about. Democracy is the most vile form of government… democracies have ever been spectacles of turbulence and contention: have ever been found incompatible with personal security or the rights of property: and have in general been as short in their lives as they have been violent in their deaths.
This is why we have a Republic with a Federalist from of goverment.

Much more effective than if he’d had a press conference where he read the text of the letter all on his own.

Let’s lay it out the way it really is shall we? A person is either “born” a Muslim or decides to become a Muslim for some reason I can not comprehend. Ok .. now we have a Muslim, what does this mean to the Muslim world. Is this new Muslim radical or moderate. To the Muslim world he is neither. He is simply a Muslim who becomes subject to an Islamic creed. This creed fully controls and gives purpose to the life of a Muslim. How to act, to talk, to dress, to work, even when and how to pray. This cookie cutter creates 1,000s of Islamic’s running around trying to impress Allah by becoming little Muhammads. The more they can be like Muhammad the more impressed Allah is.
How did Muhammad as their role model impress Allah? He was a murderer, a rapist, a liar. He was a pedophile and a pervert in word and deed. He was a trader and a treaty breaker, one who was not to be trusted by those within his sphere of infuence and especially those outside his group. He was one of the most immoral, corrupt, degenerate, raprobate men for which we have a record of. He bastardized Almighty God into something called Allah. Striped God of His Glory, His Love and His redemptive plan for His creation.
Now what does this ungodly Islamic creed devised by Muhammad support and confirm about a Muslim’s response to the non-Muslim world.
1) Muslim’s are the only ones who have their act together.
2) Muslim’s are to rule over an Islamic world.
3) Anyone opposed to entering into their perversion and wickness are to be annihilated, preferably through the loss of their heads.
4) If you can live with there ungodly puke then they might let you become their servent. A position which you must pay for .. and pay dearly.
My friends .. there are no radical or moderate Muslims .. only Muslims under the power and authority of Islam.
How do we deal with this? We do have a law prohibiting conspiring to overthrow our goverment. It’s called Treason, with strong penalties, including deportation. Since Islam is calling for Muslims to conspire for the overthrow of ALL world goverments, then Islam must be outlawed, at least in our country. Those who claim to be Muslims must be taken to task. You can talk about freedom of speech or religion all you want, but there are some things we MUST have freedom from.
I cannot for the life of me understand why this Keith Ellison was elected. His so called “religion” will not allow him to uphold and protect the constitution of the United States of America. I cannot believe We the People will allow someone who is advocating the overthrow of our goverment and annihilation of our people to be sworn into any office, anywhere at anytime. This is totally un-American and we will pay dearly for this.

Religious activity is a voluntary action. Either you believe it or you do not. If someone chooses to be a Muslim, Christian or any other religion, that person might have been convinced or persuaded of/by its teachings. The religious teachings or examples that particular individual believes will be beneficial to oneself. No one forces anyone to believe anything in this country.
At first, it may be difficult for a simple person to understand the great ideals or principles of this great nation. Leaders lead, followers follow the leader. Leaders do not follow. Leaders lead by examples.
As for 314, you may not have seen a Muslim as an elected official in the past; but we being a leader, we do things differently. Our ideals, we cherish compels us to act differently from others for the better. Our American ideals separate us from others.
Rep. Ellison’s election reinforces my belief that American ideals are greater than ones’ religious belief. It makes me believe American values of tolerance, diversity and religious freedom are vibrant and well alive. Moreover, what makes us stronger is the value system built on respect for differences, and democratic pluralism. In addition, the belief of standing up for the weak and underrepresented in the society makes our country robust. Anyone preaching anything other than those values does not know America.. Welcome to America and our enduring beliefs!
The notion of one’s religious belief being a roadblock to separate us from each other and for us not able to enjoy the American values is totally abhorrent and Un-American. We are stronger and wiser when we stand together, regardless of color, race, religion or any other differences.
America is big enough for us to be an inclusive society and for everyone to live in harmony. However, there is none and will be no place in America for ignorant, bigoted and hypocritical ideologies to reverse our righteous destiny in our country. I do have a home. I have a wife and four children along with two grand children. My wife and I have been providing a home for not only ourselves, but our children and now their children. I personally think that we had four great kids. Yes, they had their problems and had to learn to accept each other and have tolerance towards each other. This wasn’t easy sometimes. And sometimes they would respond in such a way that we as parents were not able to be tolerant of. This often resulted in one or more of the children receiving some kind of punishment. We are providing the same kind of care for our grand children .. although I think as grandparents we tend to be a little more tolerant of them, or at least that’s what our children tells us.
A part of our responsibility in providing this home was providing security and protection for this family. There were books we would not allow, TV programs which were banned and even some children who were not welcome in this home. We didn’t allow things into our home which would destroy the family. We didn’t allow alcohol. We didn’t allow drugs. We didn’t allow pornography. We didn’t allow certain reading material. We didn’t allow unbridled speech. We didn’t allow meanness or fighting. Yes, I suppose you could say we were intolerant, but personally I saw and still see this as being responsible to those whom we had a responsibility toward.
I hope you have already gotten my point. It’s not hard when you bring this issue closer to home. I’m still responsible to my family. I see this nation as my home and therefore their home. I do not want anyone being tolerant of evil which is focused upon destroying this home and my family. Therefore, I’m very intolerant of anyone promoting that I and my family have to bow down to their way of thinking. I have to give them the authority to rule over me. I must enter into their evil conspiring or face death or a fate worst than death. I am not tolerant of this at all. In all honestly I feel the only way one could be tolerant of this madness is to be ignorant of their desires and intents, or to be a part of the evil.
I would really appreciate someone answering this question for me. Regarding Mr. Goode’s statement. Can you tell me how anyone can place their hand on the Qur`an and swear to uphold, defend and protect our constitution? That which the hand is on is supposed to secure and seal their sworn statement. What is coming out of the mouth is contradicting that which the hand is placed on. The teaching of the Qur`an is there is no way a Muslim can even run to be elected for an office. Islam will not allow Muslims to be a part of any kind of representative form of government. The only way they would be allowed to do this is through deception. If they can make us believe they are honoring our nation and our home while using this to destroy our nation and our home then Islam will allow this. This would be good for Islam and promote their evil intents. Talk about two faced and speaking with a forked tongue .. we have a great example in this Keith Ellison guy. They were so “evil” that we had to fight them in Korea and Vietnam before they took over the world. People were blackballed and ostracized for even agreeing with any of the “Communist manifesto”. We now trade with communist Russia, communist China and communist Vietnam and they apparently aren’t as evil as they once were. Now it’s the “evil” muslims who are the scapegoats for our pundits. He says he got out of Islam after the Million Man March in 1995. If this is true than why is he planning to be sworn in with his hand on the Qur`an. All of this was only deception to allow him to pretend to bury his pass and run for Congress. There’s not a word of truth to this .. nor a word of truth in him. If you look back in history and think of heinous terrorist activity against our country, it comes to mind of an evil person who happened to be Caucasian and claimed to be Christian (Catholic to exact). His name was Timothy McVeigh, convicted of one of the worst terrorist acts in American history – blowing up the federal building in Oklahoma City on April 19, 1995.
So, if I must agree with your argument that all Muslims are evil and terrorists. I must also conclude that all white, Christians are terrorists and evil because Timothy McVeigh also did the same heinous crime – blowing up buildings and killing innocent lives. I completely disagree with that notion.
And back to your argument of Muslims committing Treason, if any person or persons regardless of color, race, or religion is suspected of treason, under our rule of law, it has to be proven true before labeling that particular person/persons Treasonist.
Translation: Under our rule of law, you cannot label a person guilty of Treason based on his/her color, race, religion or any other exterior differences, unless he/she is proven guilty of that crime. You may not like that person’s color, race or religion, but you have the obligation to tell the truth to prove their guilt or innocence. Yes Lloyd, you are correct. I am stuck on those three words because the characteristics/mindset exhibited by Rep. Goode and the people who are trying extremely hard, but failing miserably to defend “Goode’s” comments are just that.
Unfortunately, English language does not have adequate description of those characteristics but the aforementioned.
I have to admit I am no expert of Islam and do not wish to believe in Islam. However, I do not prevent anyone to believe in Islam. Again, religious belief is a personal choice. Christian belief is not the same as Islam and Jewish belief is not the same as Hinduism, yet people of different religions live in peace and harmony by accepting each other’s differences and respecting one another.
Rape, murder, robbery, child molestation, kidnapping are criminal acts being forced upon another human being. On the other hand, Islam is a religion. No Religion is forced upon anybody in this country. Everybody is free to choose their religion as they wish.

(March 2001, Ohio) Lake Erie claimed three more victims who were hoping to catch a few fish but caught instead a fatal chill. “Someone noticed tracks leading to a hole and an ice chest floating in the water,” said Deputy Sheriff Roger Garn.
The three men had been driving on a thin sheet of ice surrounded by open patches of water, which they may have overlooked due to poor visibility caused by a morning snowstorm. Suddenly, to no one’s surprise but theirs, their all-terrain vehicle plunged through the ice. Hours later divers rescued the bodies from 10 feet of 34-degree water.
The winters have not been cold enough to allow ice fishing on the lake for at least three years, and authorities have warned the public about the unsafe conditions. In January 21 anglers were rescued from a patch of ice that broke away from shore. Yet even the recent deaths do little to deter fisherman. Deputy Sheriff Garn said bemusedly, “We’re taking three people off in body bags, while dozens are still going out to fish.”
Now if I had been there and able to warn these 3 men of the impending danger, I would have been told that I hated fishermen, I was intolerant and a bigot.

Until you are able to do this .. please refrain from directing the words bigot, intolerant, hatred or Ignorant towards myself or my comments. However, we do have a 4000 year history of the Arabic people. We have a 1500 year history of the Muslim people since Islam reared it’s ugly head. What on earth makes you think Islam is good? Where do you find your comfort? Have you seen any change for the better in the past 1500 years? I see only a worsening if that be possible. All but 2 of the many wars now raging in the world are involving Muslims as the aggressors. Yet without any reason or logic you keep telling me these are peaceful people. Even the Muslims living in our country where they have very little strength are contending with our laws and government. They are trying and in some cases are succeeding to force our towns, schools and prisons to bow to and accommodate them. I have some real problems with our “justice system.” Still they have finally realized that a person who keeps indulging themselves in criminal and antisocial behavior are not going to change. Now many states have what’s called the 3 strikes you’re out tolerance procedure. If anything is criminal and antisocial, then that would be Islam. How many strikes do we need to provide them before we can no long tolerate their behavior? Personally, I see them as striking out centuries ago. If they desire to show me how peaceful they are and how much they love my country, then let them come and accept our laws, our way of life and stop confronting and demanding that I conform to theirs. These days, it’s sometimes fairly difficult to hold an intelligent conversation regarding the state of Israel without some fear of being labeled an anti-Semite. That is a card I think Israel, and the Israeli lobby here in the States, plays very well. However, much of the turmoil in the Middle East can be traced back to Israel. Without an open and honest discussion regarding Israel’s role in the conflict we will never have hope for peace in the Middle East. I’m not sure the leaders of Israel want peace. The current conflict between Lebanon (Hezbollah) and Israel escalated out of control way too fast – and Israel was in the drivers seat. Hezbollah captured two Israeli military members to use as bargaining chips to gain the release of Lebanese prisoners in Israeli custody (many being held in violation of the Geneva Convention. Hezbollah’s action hardly seems to justify Israel’s response. Democrat Keith Ellison is now officially the first Muslim United States congressman. True to his pledge, he placed his hand on the Quran, the Muslim book of jihad and pledged his allegiance to the United States during his ceremonial swearing-in.
Capitol Hill staff said Ellison’s swearing-in photo opportunity drew more media than they had ever seen in the history of the U.S. House. Ellison represents the 5th Congressional District of Minnesota.
The Quran Ellison used was no ordinary book. It once belonged to Thomas Jefferson, third president of the United States and one of America’s founding fathers. Ellison borrowed it from the Rare Book Section of the Library of Congress. It was one of the 6,500 Jefferson books archived in the library.
Ellison, who was born in Detroit and converted to Islam while in college, said he chose to use Jefferson’s Quran because it showed that “a visionary like Jefferson” believed that wisdom could be gleaned from many sources.
There is no doubt Ellison was right about Jefferson believing wisdom could be “gleaned” from the Muslim Quran. At the time Jefferson owned the book, he needed to know everything possible about Muslims because he was about to advocate war against the Islamic “Barbary” states of Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and Tripoli.
Ellison’s use of Jefferson’s Quran as a prop illuminates a subject once well-known in the history of the United States, but, which today, is mostly forgotten – the Muslim pirate slavers who over many centuries enslaved millions of Africans and tens of thousands of Christian Europeans and Americans in the Islamic “Barbary” states.
Over the course of 10 centuries, Muslim pirates cruised the African and Mediterranean coastline, pillaging villages and seizing slaves.
The taking of slaves in pre-dawn raids on unsuspecting coastal villages had a high casualty rate. It was typical of Muslim raiders to kill off as many of the “non-Muslim” older men and women as possible so the preferred “booty” of only young women and children could be collected.
Young non-Muslim women were targeted because of their value as concubines in Islamic markets. Islamic law provides for the sexual interests of Muslim men by allowing them to take as many as four wives at one time and to have as many concubines as their fortunes allow.
Boys, as young as 9 or 10 years old, were often mutilated to create eunuchs who would bring higher prices in the slave markets of the Middle East. Muslim slave traders created “eunuch stations” along major African slave routes so the necessary surgery could be performed. It was estimated that only a small number of the boys subjected to the mutilation survived after the surgery.
When American colonists rebelled against British rule in 1776, American merchant ships lost Royal Navy protection. With no American Navy for protection, American ships were attacked and their Christian crews enslaved by Muslim pirates operating under the control of the “Dey of Algiers”–an Islamist warlord ruling Algeria.
Because American commerce in the Mediterranean was being destroyed by the pirates, the Continental Congress agreed in 1784 to negotiate treaties with the four Barbary States. Congress appointed a special commission consisting of John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, and Benjamin Franklin, to oversee the negotiations.
Lacking the ability to protect its merchant ships in the Mediterranean, the new America government tried to appease the Muslim slavers by agreeing to pay tribute and ransoms in order to retrieve seized American ships and buy the freedom of enslaved sailors.
Adams argued in favor of paying tribute as the cheapest way to get American commerce in the Mediterranean moving again. Jefferson was opposed. He believed there would be no end to the demands for tribute and wanted matters settled “through the medium of war.” He proposed a league of trading nations to force an end to Muslim piracy.
In 1786, Jefferson, then the American ambassador to France, and Adams, then the American ambassador to Britain, met in London with Sidi Haji Abdul Rahman Adja, the “Dey of Algiers” ambassador to Britain.
The Americans wanted to negotiate a peace treaty based on Congress’ vote to appease.
During the meeting Jefferson and Adams asked the Dey’s ambassador why Muslims held so much hostility towards America, a nation with which they had no previous contacts.
In a later meeting with the American Congress, the two future presidents reported that Ambassador Sidi Haji Abdul Rahman Adja had answered that Islam “was founded on the Laws of their Prophet, that it was written in their Quran, that all nations who should not have acknowledged their authority were sinners, that it was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found, and to make slaves of all they could take as Prisoners, and that every Musselman (Muslim) who should be slain in Battle was sure to go to Paradise.”
For the following 15 years, the American government paid the Muslims millions of dollars for the safe passage of American ships or the return of American hostages. The payments in ransom and tribute amounted to 20 percent of United States government annual revenues in 1800.
Not long after Jefferson’s inauguration as president in 1801, he dispatched a group of frigates to defend American interests in the Mediterranean, and informed Congress.
Declaring that America was going to spend “millions for defense but not one cent for tribute,” Jefferson pressed the issue by deploying American Marines and many of America’s best warships to the Muslim Barbary Coast.
The USS Constitution, USS Constellation, USS Philadelphia, USS Chesapeake, USS Argus, USS Syren and USS Intrepid all saw action.
In 1805, American Marines marched across the dessert from Egypt into Tripolitania, forcing the surrender of Tripoli and the freeing of all American slaves.
During the Jefferson administration, the Muslim Barbary States, crumbling as a result of intense American naval bombardment and on shore raids by Marines, finally officially agreed to abandon slavery and piracy.
Jefferson’s victory over the Muslims lives on today in the Marine Hymn, with the line, “From the halls of Montezuma to the shores of Tripoli, we will fight our country’s battles on the land as on the sea.”
It wasn’t until 1815 that the problem was fully settled by the total defeat of all the Muslim slave trading pirates.
Jefferson had been right. The “medium of war” was the only way to put and end to the Muslim problem. Mr. Ellison was right about Jefferson. He was a “visionary” wise enough to read and learn about the enemy from their own Muslim book of jihad.
