Fox News to surge forces in war on Christmas.

“FNC will present a three hour primetime O’Reilly Factor Christmas Marathon beginning on Monday December 25th at 8PM EST,” a Fox News release states. Also, Sean Hannity will host a one-hour special, “A Nashville New Year with Sean Hannity,” from the Palace Theater in Nashville, Tennessee.

This is off of this thread – House Armed Services Chairman ‘Extremely Concerned’ With Iraq Escalation Plans -Dec. 18 ,2006

Available in older posts section for free and at absolutely no charge. You have to read the whole thread to appreciate it.It`s a real gem.

Not so fast;I have one thing I’d like to add to this discussion.

Atleast twice in the last 50 posts, unbelievable said that she ‘doesn’t lie’.
Yet she told me,thus everyone else on this blog, last spring, that her Mother was dead. This turned out NOT to be TRUE.
Now answer your own question: What kind of person would say that about their own Mother just for the sake of winning an argument?
Now you all are beginning to see why I’ve had such acrimony with her in the past.

Just for the record,BnF, I never, ever, insulted her Mother, that’s if you were referring to something I might have said.
She told me her Mom was dead after I said she probably lives at home with her Mom.
All this can be found in the archives.
This is who you are dealing with, and she has no respect.

    Trueblue,

Of course, Unbelievable is offended by any remark about sexuality:

    Men’s peak is 17, and women’s is 40. I’m guessing I’m closer to 40 than you are to 17? :)

I think it’s a plot by women in their 40’s so they can get 17 year old men :)

    - – Bob Guccione (1978)
    Comment by unbelievable ”

amen to that!!! (care to put the hypothesis to a test? —just kidding…)

Perhaps it is Unbelievable who is envious of my spirituality. She has derided the thought of breathing a cloud away, yet I’ve taught others to do so as well.

Perhaps she was offended because I was just kidding. After all, I have mentioned on these boards that I wear a kilt. And you know what they say about a woman scorned. I mean, to take what I wrote and somehow twist that into insinuating that I, a married man, was interested in having an adulterous affair with someone who lives a couple of thousand miles away takes either dimentia, a great imagination, or wishful thinking.

And Trueblue, as you can see, a shaman would say “Amen.”

There’s another word, a greeting, I say to you:

    Namaste.

The Grinch and Scrooge get a bad rap. They ended up ok. They changed from Progressives that believe the government should take care of everyone and destroy anything that makes people happy and became conservatives. Giving to charity. Helping out people and whos’ and whatnots. Not sure what the Heat Miser is. (But I’m sure I will find out in seconds after this post) and Emit Otter was the saddest Christmas story ever. My friends and I have a party and drink every time you see a string.

As a conservative, I give to private charities all the time. Not for any tax rite off, but because it’s the right thing to do. I personaly have helped people that were down on there luck. I took in my cousin and his little girl after he was injured in an auto accident. I gave my old van away to a charity that helps people on welfare get a job and get off welfare. It’s not that we don’t want to help the poor. We don’t think the government can or should.

If you remember, Scrooge was visited by men from a local charity that wanted to help the poor. (Conservatives I’m sure) Scrooge (still a liberal) asked “are there no prisons or work houses.” Of course after the night of ghost he gave a lot and people were happy.

It’s just a matter of fairness. I grew up poor. I worked hard to get to a point I could give to charities. I never asked for it. I worked a minimum wedge job and worked my way up and out. The issue with the government helping the poor via welfare is that it’s very hard to get off it. People think it’s owed to them and they don’t need to work. That’s wrong.

And what charities do you give too?

  75. PatrioticLiberalChristian(PLC) says:

So, Kevin, don’t you think the government should help seriously mentally ill or cognitively challenged people who are unable to do your “pull yourself up by the bootstraps” routine? Are you so callously arrogant that you think everyone else should be able to do what you did?

  76. Kevin says:

So PLC do you think that no charities exist to help them out, and that only the government can? Maybe if people could take home there whole pay they could take care of any unable relatives. Or give more to charities to help out.

  77. Spudge_Boy says:

    lets see it, Tard_boy

It is all over every fu*king thread you post to dumb ass. It oooses from your self absorbed attitude. Everybody can see it. If you can’t, that is your problem to deal with. I will just keep pointing it out.

Well what kind of dumb Fu*k are you?

Sorry bitch, you can’t put me into one of your little categories.

And what charities do you give too?

I don’t give money to other people to do the work. I am the charity. You just want to throw money at a problem. I help build people houses and other things that really help.

Give to charity, does that make you feel better about your self absorbed attitude. Can you sleep better at night because you gave somebody some money. Money is a minute part of the problem jerk.

  78. Kevin says:

So Tard_boy can’t come up with a direct quote of me saying “fu*k everyone else.” (maybe because I never said it. Or anything close to it.) He can’t even figure out what kind of dumb fu*k he is. Or if he read what I have posted in this tread that I do a lot more than give money.

  79. Spudge_Boy says:

It is nice to know that your FairTax.org is a PROGRESSIVE idea.

The FairTax plan includes a progressive national retail sales tax, a “prebate” to ensure no American pays federal taxes up to the poverty level, dollar-for-dollar revenue neutrality, and the repeal of the 16th Amendment. The FairTax has often been referred to as the most thoroughly researched and viable alternative to the current intrusive and costly income tax system.

Unlike your party of regressive ideas.

  80. Kevin says:

See, I knew you would like it.

Great, now you tell me if you think I am a liberal or conservative.

Here are a couple of more things to help.

I support the second amendment. I have been firing weapons since I was four. Conservative.

I support a womans right to choose. Liberal.

I support a large military. Conservative.

I only support that military being used for defense. Liberal.

  82. JPark says:

Kevin, you’re willing to try to help people get off welfare, do you even try to imagine what those people’s lives would be like if there were no welfare? I admit that the current system is not the best in the world, but that’s another topic.

Personally, I would love to help corporations get off the government teat. It costs many times what any personal welfare program has. But Kevin wouldn’t understand that. He is a corporatist, through and through.
