IMPEACH AND INCARCERATE - No pardons for Dubbie or Dickie, and a trial in the Hague for Donnie. Condi can slink back into obscurity, and whore herself on the board of an oil company instead of on CNN.

If the gop mafiosi are not shown, unequivocally, that they cannot serially violate the constitution in their maniacal and disgusting quest for power, they'll just do it again and again, as the did in the 60's, 80's and are now. They must be deterred. Obviously, a few token prosecutions and resignations are an acceptable "cost of doing business" for them. Punishment of the most severe order is what they prescribe for their opponents, so let's let them get a full taste of it for once - maybe that will get them to represent their constituents with some semblance of decency, and disabuse them of the notion they are ordained by God to rule the entire planet.

I'm getting tired of watching them pull the same tired old shit over and over and over, without suffering the due consequences. Will we forever forget, just a few years after they're out of power, what kind of sleazy bastards they are - watergate/nixon was forgotten and we got ronnie ray-gun.....iran/contra was forgotten and we got Idiot-ass Jr.. Enough already! Throw these fudgepackers in jail, and give all their money away, and make their kids go out and fend for themselves in the world. The loathing of inherited privilege was a big piece of what started this country - let's get back to those core values and rid ourselves of the neo-aristocracy we've allowed to flourish.

I haven't looked at Jeff Gannon's male escort website in well over a year. However, my memory is that in addition to lying greatly about his age, he was also calling himself an ex-Marine, though, in reality, he has no military experience.

JTitor,

Jeff Gannon is in a state of denial. I looked at his political Web site several weeks ago. I guess his Web site is being funded by right-wingers. If he's not in therapy, he should be.

He still has his ***********ad on the net. I guess he's a Christian? I think the ********** ad states that he's in his 30s when he's actually 49- years-old.

Rabid, fervently homophobic homosexuals should be classified as a psychiatric disorder. Being homophobic is not a psychiatric disorder, nor is being homosexual a psychiatric disorder. But when the two coexist together, it's an odd, odd combination. Just like a Nazi Jew is an odd combination. A gay televangelist is an odd combination.

What's so disturbing about many of these Republican closet cases, is that they want to deny homosexuals a love life. They seem not to be interested in love; they're interested only in pure raw sex. Apparently to them, romantic love would be unthinkable. They're the "bad gays." The "good gays" desire romantic love.

Unfortunately, facts do not depend on what George Bush accepts or does not accept. Wishing and praying, though a useful task when one is completely helpless, is not working in Iraq and should not be a US President's primary connection to reality.

Where are the plans for withdrawal from the DEms.
Instead the Dems vote for more appropriations for the war, and are silent on the IRan situation. DO the Dems really believe they can get away with complicity with Bush in widening the Iraq war to include Iran. Are the Dems bought and paid for by the AIPAC lobby too? Is there no one in Congress who represents the wishes of the American people?

Comment by ChildrenofLir

I have to agree as well. If anyone in this group thinks that the Democrats are going to turn it around for the American people your wrong. I write in progressive, liberal, and conservative (don't confuse paleo-conservative with PedoCons) blogs. All of us have one thing in common, and that is a hate for GWB. What I try to do is to inform paleo-conservatives of losing the bill of rights and the constitution under this supposed self proclaimed conservative. I'm a "progressive" or "reformist" in the true literal meaning. Change needs to happen quick, or we are going to loose our freedoms and become a police state. Liberals believe that change needs to happen over a period of time. Conservatives don't nbelieve in change, but when change is thrust upon them they get pissed.

Thank God for the brave men and women who volunteer to protect this country. Because of their great sacrifices we are able to sit in the comforts of our homes on Christmas night while they fight. 2974 have died so far and each one of them has more guts than everyone here combined. I feel safe knowing that we have so many willing to give the ultimate price to keep us safe.

Mandolin you didn't really say that did you. Let me tell you something, it's people like you that throw a fu*king sticker on your SUV and say dumbass sh*t like that. How are troops; forced to go to Iraq over and over again somehow making me more safe? I have been with this group for a long time and haven't seen one post putting down the troops. They put down the policies that lead us here. Do you know the odds of getting killed in a terrorist attack are above 547,500,000,000 to one. now lets look at the amount of troops dying in Iraq:

American Deaths:
Since war began (3/19/03): 2979
Since "Mission Accomplished" (5/1/03) 2842
Since Capture of Saddam (12/13/03): 2513
Since Handover (6/29/04): 2113
Since Election (1/31/05): 1543
American Wounded Official Estimated
Total Wounded: Official: 22235 Estimated: 23000 - 100,000

All of this for a war that had nothing to do with Terror, Osama, or anything other then oil. And if you believe that 9/11 was even a terrorist attack then you haven't looked at the facts. 9/11 was a staged attack to get people like you to drink the koolaid.

What the f*ck is that all about?? :(

Trolls can be SOOOO interesting, like taking the back off a $7 transistor radio and seeing all those wires and transistors, with no real pattern to them.

Except some of the wires seem to be a bit loose... :)

Did you have a nice holiday?

#22 Thanks for the url....it's a fascinating read entitled "Is Bush Nuts?". I fear so but not in the obvious way the term is loosely thrown around in washington these days. I fear it is serious psychiatric disease known as Bipolar Disorder/Schizophrenia whose hallmark is often auditory hallucinations (aka hearing voices). Typically, in the most acute cases of this disease, the afflicted hears "the voice of God". I shudder to read this excerpt because his documented use of hearing the voice of God telling him to engage in criminal behavior is textbook of this disease. Ted Bundy, et al also heard the voice of God telling them to destroy people! How long will the intelligent people and qualified physicians (psychiatrists) in this country allow fear of repercussion to stall them from taking the necessary action to help this man? He's obviously struggling with alcohol, drug use and serious psychopathology and is not receiving the help he so desperately needs. Impeachment may be his only way out - and will certainly save face versus stepping down. The only fortunate part of this disease (for him) is the fact that they are so out of contact with reality that they rarely have enough insight to see what their reputation actually is nor the consequences of their wrongdoing.

I believe it's "beyond time" for the medical experts to insist on an evaluation of this leader before his disease takes down an entire country.

So, we have reached the symbolically-important number of dead servicemen matching the number killed on 9/11. I'm sure Olbermann will mark its passing, and perhaps even Mathews. But a true measure of how far we've come will be seen on network TV tonight. Will the networks have some sort of war retrospective, coming as it does (the war dead number = 9/11 dead) when networks traditionally look back at the events of the past year? It would seem a natural: Democrats take control of House and Senate largely through dissatifaction with the war, and the casualties of that war matching the number killed in the original attacks on 9/11. Fox will ignore it, naturally, but it would add some flavor to an otherwise thin network gruel of canned clips and rehashed rhetoric.

Vis-A-Vis "Puppet Condi's" recent inconsiderate and absolutely mercenery statements about the loss of lives being "worth it", I ask the obvious question: "worth what, Condi, dear?? " We have absolutely nothing but failure to show for this year which is tanking this country economically and it's lack of a valid rationale to destroy another country is coming back to bite us on the proverbial butt....not to mention the 600,000 innocent Iraqis dead - caught in the crossfire and the flagrant destruction of a country not our own, I simply ask this of our deluded and ignorant, Secretary of State: When you take your huge egomaniacal head out of your rather large butt, please answer the obvious question to the american people following your most ignorant statement to the press to date: What is it that we've accomplished which makes this war worth "anything"?? Perhaps Condi needs to enlist herself to serve or offer up one of her relatives to the service and then she can experience some small degree of empathy.

#137 - Zooey, Happy Post-CHristmas to ya!!

And last week CoL was ranting against all war, and those that might have fought in them. Kind of a mixed bag of ideas and concepts going on here. Trolls can be SOOOO interesting, like taking the back off a $7 transistor radio and seeing all those wires and transistors, with no real pattern to them.
