Probably why he did it while she was sitting up close to a table. Hard to whirl around quickly enough, nome sayn?

  5. Jackie says:

Bush is asking Merkel not to spill the beans on the torture camps now that the New Congress will do investigations. Now this will be iinteresting because the people have spoken out about what they’ve seen and Merkel might not be able to help Bush with this crime.

I’m a very patient woman…he’d have been punched in the nuts eventually. Heh.

  7. AshenShard says:

Likely stopped doing those backrubs after his mistress, condi rice, made him sleep on the couch.

Some how I don’t think you would have been in the same building much less the same room.

  9. GSD says:

    Did Bush ever rub Dick?

  10. John Gilpins says:

What would the world think if Nancy Pelosi was giving George a back rub?

I can visualize everything. “Nancy, I have a tube of Ben Gay to make the back rub a little more soothing.”

    dear (desperate) Hal,

If you wish to make a positive contribution to (your?) country of the United States of America, please make informed thought out opinions by yourself rather than copy pasting something that can be easily discovered by ‘The google’ (http://desmoinesregister.com/opinion/stories/c2125555/21898556.html)

If you are a parody, please stop, because it just takes up space. If you are not, then realize you are just resembling a poorly thought out parody and we are all laughing at you rather than with you.

remember, a 6 year old can copy paste anything they want.

What ‘additives’ would be in the Ben Gay?

  13. katy says:

    from the link:
Merkel gave Bush a significant boost on his aims in Iraq, saying that “although Germany is not militarily present in Iraq, we have every interest in seeing Iraq taking a turn for a more peaceful development…”

    well duh! …what country doesn’t ?!?
but HIS aim in iraq has nothing to do with peace…

  14. John Gilpins says:

    AshenShard,

    Additives?

Since we now own Iraq, the additives would most likely include Iraqi CRUDE for a CRUDE guy.

    Since it’s winter, I would highly recommend 10 DUBYA-30.

    1. 10 is Dubya’s IQ.

    2. Dubya represents W.

    3. 30? That is Dubya’s current approval rating. How low will it go after this extremely embarrassing moment? LOWER!

    DUBYA IS THE “RUBYA” PRESIDENT.

    John

always nice to revisit this episode. we’re all used to ‘Bush the Moron’, ‘Bush the Uncurious’, ‘Bush the Condescending’, ‘Bush the Ignorant’, and ‘Bush the Public Speaking Wizard’…but its hard to top ‘Bush the Old Creepy Touchy-Feeling Guy’

  17. Xenon says:

It was creepy then, it’s even more unnerving now…

  18. Jericho says:

With all them terroristic treaths around Bush is lucky security didn’t jump up on him. Imagine if they’d seen Bush come out of the toilet with white powder on his hands just before, lol. A “hands-on” president indeed.

  19. Wayne A. Schneider says:

    #14 katy,

I was about to comment on that very same paragraph and before I did, I checked to see if someone else noticed. I should have known you would pick up on that. I agree with you completely. Bush’s aims in Iraq have nothing to do with peace. IMHO, Bush is, in fact, only interested in continuing a state of war so that he can claim powers as Commander-in-Chief that he would not otherwise be allowed to have in “peace time” (whatever the f*ck that means these days.)

This president has got to go before more of our young men and women die to preserve his ego.

  20. beijair says:

he is a true professional. just another example of how little respect he has for others.

can you imagine what bush must feel when he walks into rooms of so many people that think and know him to be the idiot he is? he should just resign and become a professional clown.

  21. TripMaster Monkey says:

    Wayne, katy:

Bush’s aims in Iraq have nothing to do with peace.

Spot on. Anyone who is capable of critical thought can see that our actions in Iraq have one purpose only: to destabilize the region, thereby justifying our continued presence (read: military bases).

The reason we’re not out of Iraq yet is simple: this administration has no intention of ever leaving Iraq. The goal of the invasion wasn’t to fight terrorism, or to find WMDs, or to depose Saddam, or to spread democracy, or to lower gas prices. The goal of the invasion was to establish a permanent American imperial military presence in the region. We can’t have meaningful discussion about the Iraq issue until we realize that the problem isn’t a failed Iraq policy, but a militaristic, imperial, immoral, and illegal Iraq policy.

Hey Halbert: Why do you preach to this group while violating the copyright of that newspaper? And, you don’t even give credit to the source. Weak.

  24. Beltz says:

Check the URL I linked, from Crooks and Liars. This happened at the G8, a couple of months ago, just to be more factual.

  25. Tollins says:

    Indeed, this happened last year.

  26. ForTruth says:

That was so freaky. Someone said he accosted Merkel. I agree. It was a form of molestation.

    Lame-assed troll. **yawn**

Exactly what Bush would think of you.

  29. Jeffrey Stewart says:

How many nannies/wet nurses does the goofball need? I guess he had to replace the jettisoned Miers, who can now only admire the nut job from afar.

  30. s says:

Have people noticed that BushCo, in the rare instances they have been backed against the wall for one of their bizarre behaviors or failures, always make light of their mistakes in a juvenile way? It’s framing agian. Ex: “No backrubs” instead of “I apologize for my inappropriate behavior”
    or
“We took a thumpin” instead of “We lost the election” ( what’s a little thumpin among equals/friends eh?)
    or
“Why are people more concerned with the last 2 minutes of Saddam’s execution than his life” (Snow) instead of: “The way Saddam was executed is an affront to civilization and the brotherhood of men.”
    or
” I had a little too much fun in New Orleans” ( Bush) instead of “I am profoundly saddened and ashamed that an entire America City was destroyed because of my inattentiveness and lack of leadership.”
    etc
    etc
    etc
    etc
    etc
    etc
    ………………….

  31. s says:

And regarding my previous post, they think that by making light of things, we will do so. Guess what…………..we’re not only on to this tactic now, we’re mighty mighty tired of it and angry…..real angry. In the best sense of that word.

  32. DieNowForPeace says:

Backrubs are off-limits, but it’s still common courtesy to issue the “reach-around” when getting screwed by our Government!

  37. Jackson says:

This is an old video. A Daily Show that ‘reported’ on it was added way back in July.

  38. Jackson says:

This video is old. It’s from a few months ago, if not more.

  39. Zooey says:

    Yes, the video is old.

The point is that GWB spoke about this particular incident on Thursday after a meeting with Merkel.
