I just wanted to write to say that you have a great site and a wonderful resource for all to share.

First off: Most of us here like everyone except Hillary Clinton, whose basic movements towards the right actually rival Lieberman’s for their spinelessness (The same Lieberman, who is perfectly willing to argue right and then vote left, showing that he has no convictions at all.)

Hillary voted in favour of Iraq, is in favour of censorship in gaming, and has strong ties to the same nutjobs that called Dungeons and Dragons satanic.

In short, Hillary is unelectable because she is too far to the right for the somewhat more sane left, and too female for the sexist right, who view women with power as something of an abomination, or worse yet, something the English do.

If anything this site is more in favour of Obama, Edwards, Pelosi or Gore, because unlike Hillary, they both represent something of what the left actually believes in, and are electable. (Unlike the right, which has McCain as a distinctly weak, and slimy candidate at this point, the left has a wide range of choices which can be narrowed down before the elections.)

Second: There is a basic difference between what you have here, and what you have with a think tank: This is an open forum. Idiots like you can post your bile here and most of it will stick around for a while, this is because we are capable of actually looking at what you have to say and dismissing it for the drivel it is. This is quite unlike what you get in a think tank, which isolates itself from opposing viewpoints in order to “develop” its theories, hence the word “Tank” in the term.

This is not reportage but plain and simple propaganda. This is 2007 America not 1937 Germany, for God’s sake.

Cavuto has a right to say what he believes, but if he’s on the airwaves posing as a bona fide journalist, he has an obligation to the American public. Even Fox should be outraged at his self-serving performance.

Perhaps Fox should arrange a blind date for him with Ann Coulter!
