Number of Utahns who support President Bush’s handling of the Iraq war, “marking the first time a [Salt Lake] Tribune poll has found fewer than half of Utahns in the president’s war camp.” Nationally, just 23 percent of the American public support Bush’s handling of the war.
Flip side of the 23% approval is the 70% diss…
January 8th, 2007 at 10:54 amAttaboy chympie, keep up the gud wurk.
A McCain/LIEberman ticket couldn’t even carry Utah. What a freakin’ joke!
January 8th, 2007 at 11:06 amyeah there is a short list of places I will never ever visit… Utah ranks at number 2… just after south VA and before Mogadishu
January 8th, 2007 at 11:10 am2 things:
1: GWB is set to give us his great new Iraq plan Wednesday @ 9:00pm. (Good thing “Lost” is not currently on, or I’d be pissed.)
2: Utah? Isn’t that like the only place that Mitt Romney will make a good showing?
January 8th, 2007 at 11:13 am(Don’t bet that he’ll carry MA. We’re glad to be rid of him.)
Utah, Kansas, Texas, and Alabama should form thier own country and leave us out of it.
January 8th, 2007 at 11:14 amFor Truth,
What about Kentucky?
Tennessee?
I say we include them as well.
January 8th, 2007 at 11:17 am:)
Truth,
Thanks for leaving Idaho off the list…really.
January 8th, 2007 at 11:19 amMitt Romney is running for president of Utah. Hail to the creep.

Hell, I say we just give it to him.
January 8th, 2007 at 11:30 amSure, lets add Kentucky, Tennessee, and Virginia.
Idaho isn’t a threat, too far away, too cold, not that much people…
January 8th, 2007 at 11:35 amHow many of their wives do they get to count?
January 8th, 2007 at 11:35 am#11, how many of their wives are allowed to vote?

ForTruth, trueblue et al…
I’ve got a great idea to solve the Palestinian-Israeli crisis (and perhaps lower the level of hostility between Arabs and the American “Christian-Zionist autocratic caliphate”…
…Why not let the Jews (from Israel) move into and settle those bass-ackward so-called “Christian” strongholds you’ve been listing…
…the Jews are probably smarter than most of those inbreds, and could probably make them more economically viable/productive states…
January 8th, 2007 at 12:03 pmDoes this mean that 41% of Utahns have joined the army and are serving in Iraq?
January 8th, 2007 at 12:04 pmDlet, “great minds” etc.
January 8th, 2007 at 12:11 pmbig papa,
I can see the bumpersticker now:
It’s A-rab season! No trespassing, please.*
*This is a joke!
January 8th, 2007 at 12:12 pmGood Idea Big Papa.
January 8th, 2007 at 12:14 pmWe could probably convince W that he is actually prezident/emperor of the U-Whitey States of Xiana. Fix two problems for the price of 1.
January 8th, 2007 at 12:19 pmCourse he and Mitt would have to have a duel to see who gets to be prez/emperor
Does this mean that 41% of Utahns have joined the army and are serving in Iraq?

What was it you posted about me a few days ago about my comments being “homophobic”?
Taken in the same context, I could say your silly little remark is anti-Mormon, but I won’t.
January 8th, 2007 at 12:20 pmNumber of Utahns who support
Is that really how you call somebody from Utah? Strange folk. Although I was there once for business and stayed for a weekend to ski. Didn’t hang out with many “Utahns” much.
January 8th, 2007 at 12:22 pmdlet,
I’m in Idaho, and I’ve never heard the word “Utahn” before.
January 8th, 2007 at 12:30 pmJoe, please try to understand that your comments were homophobic. You can’t say “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell” works “just fine” when it is ruining lives and careers. If it was ruining your life, would it be working “just fine”???
And my commets are anti-Mormon. You’re making that up for no good reason.
January 8th, 2007 at 12:32 pmI meant that my comments are NOT anti-Mormon. Mormons are AGAINST this war.

I used “the google” and it seems that is what they officially call themselves. Never been to Idaho but one of the vendors that I was working with for a long time was from there. They were really nice people. We got a bag of spuds from them every year. Weird thing is they supplied us with pumice.
January 8th, 2007 at 12:39 pmdlet,
Yep potatoes and pumice, the breakfast of champions. I think there are pumice mines in Southern Idaho. That’s where the potatoes are, too. I’m way up north, which is also the reddest part of Idaho, sadly enough.
January 8th, 2007 at 12:48 pmZooey,
January 8th, 2007 at 12:53 pmBeing in NYC it’s pretty easy to be blue or independant (no color coding yet for them). Though if you eat potatoes and pumice you are strong enough to hold your own. :)
You EAT pumice? I thought you rubbed the bottoms of your feet with it.
January 8th, 2007 at 12:55 pmdlet & Truth,
You guys are so damned easy. Heh.
January 8th, 2007 at 12:59 pmYup easier than a prom date.
January 8th, 2007 at 1:03 pmIsn’t Pumice volcanic, air infused bubbly rock?
January 8th, 2007 at 1:35 pmWould that mean there at one time was a lot of hot ash in Idaho?

Yellowstone Park Caldera…..yes indeed.
January 8th, 2007 at 1:40 pmYou know the Bush personality cult is endangered when they are a minority even in Utah.
I wonder how many of the trolls who post here live in that state? Funny to think their fellow Utahns disavowing them.

Yes, then you eat it.
January 8th, 2007 at 2:06 pmdlet, now that’s gross, even for Utahanians.
