“In six years in office, President Bush has found a lot of things to be unacceptable — most recently, the situation in Iraq.” The Swamp has the full rundown.
to my ears, this is yet another example of bush’s paltry attempt to make up for his poor public speaking skills. it’s one of those stock, practiced lines that he trots out whenever he can’t think of anything authentic to say, but it makes him sound tough. i’ll refer readers to some of his other trademark stock phrases:
“I appreciate…”
“I’m looking forward to…”
“I understand…”
“Part of my job…”
“It’s hard work.”
This is a charade, folks! The only time a sociopath admits to making a mistake is when he uses it to justify an even bigger one! Does this chimp think people are idiots? hahahahah! He’s so totally delusional.
I don’t know a single soul who listened to the chimp’s latest drivel, do you?
And people will be watching movies instead of his ridiculous State of the Union address as well. It’s painful to watch the fool which he continues to make of himself. How’d he ever get elected? Ooops….forgot…..he stole both elections……but that’s another thread.
- first your corruption involved in enron
- then your deceptive clear skies
- and the healthy forests
- and all your constitution challanges
- and spying
- and opening mail
and what else have you accompblished;
- lots of arm twisting in congress
- lots of corrupt practices
and what is the ONLY thing george bush acts towards serving the people…
for now 6 years, all you can talk about is terrorists…. THAT’S IT!!!!!!!!!!
Do you know george bush since year 2002, 5 straight years when i read
anything on the news regarding george bush EVERYTHING is terrorists
NOTHING ELSE
george bush, you are unacceptable along with all your chronies…. completely corrupted and even your war games with iraq is totally
unacceptable affecting millions of people
well, there’s always mental health, so you can pop another tranquilizer
and spend more time on vacation than any president EVER
and for congress, the 109th most corrupt EVER along with 1 day work weeks
yes george bush, that is very unacceptable and everything is unacceptable
and for your contribution is screwing things up so bad it is unacceptable
you have yet to be impeached
enough to make you **** TOTALLY CORRUPT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Get used to it folks. Bush is not going to be stopped by anyone. He gets his ass handed to him in the midterm elections, he has a 25% approval rating, even his own party think she sucks dick, yet he acts in every way as if he won in a landslide. He will continue to piss away our country’s resources, lives, honor and money to defend his pitiful ego.
If we are lucky, he will be stopped before he kicks off WWIII, but that may even be too late.
Bush is deranged. He believes that he was chosen by God to kick some Muslim butt, how can a 25% approval rating compete with that?
The worst person ever. As far as damage to America, that is. There have been some bad actors over the years, but in terms of damage to our country, he is enemy number 1.
#5, ‘What the American people have to understand is’…
‘I decide’
Or, as Darth Cheney so eloquently stated yesterday on
Fux news; ‘My’ energy task force’…
But, we have plenty of words to describe this administration:
Unacceptable, Unbelievable, Unplanned, Unusual, Unbearable, Unfunded, Uncommon, Undereducated, (insert word here)…
now if we the people expected integrity and a correction to this
mess.
democratic congress…. just a repeat of 1994/1995
and what do these totally corrupted public servants talk about
- american family values
yeh right…. just 3 short years ago i thought corruption was a rarity,
FOLKS….. corruption absolutely is a reality and most likely what we
are witnessing is no different than the past 100 years
all the wonderful services bush provides to us. ya a bureaucracy is big,
inefficient, wasteful, and mistakes are made
but bush & the 109th are totally unacceptable and so far the 110th has
said it’s off the table, but we are going to serve the people and clean
up ethics, but the very next day, guess what…. fundraiser at $1000 plates
has congress accompblished anything yet in the 1’st 100 hours or are they
just setting up a situation that is conflictual to lobbyists and are we just
being minipulated again? we will certainly know within a year or two, but
so far that appears unacceptable too.
oh well, i guess it’s no different than the legacy since nixon…. yes bush
corruption/k street/all your chronies is very unacceptable
Also unacceptable: The fact that 800 million people go to bed hungry every night. It’s time to fight against global poverty and really commit to the Millennium Development Goals which were agreed on globally. The Borgen project says that it will cost a mere $19 billion annually to achieve one of these goals- the end to world hunger. That’s nothing compared to the over $300 billion we’ve spent on Iraq so far.
The world’s sole super power getting its arse handed to it by some men in night gowns is also unacceptable but watchyagonna do, right? You go to “war†with the Commander-In-Chief that you have, not the one you wished you had.
Causing 9/11 was unacceptable; creating this phoney baloney war on terrorism is unacceptable; your admininstration’s NON-response to Katrina was unacceptable; the rampant corruption in your adminstration is unacceptable; sending our sons and daughters to be killed for oil is unacceptable; your violating the constitution is unacceptable; your environment policy is unacceptable; opening our mail is unacceptable; wiretapping is unacceptable;
You SIRS : Darth Cheney and Dumbya are unacceptable.
absolutely, unacceptable, i am being directly affected by the
corruption of bushs civil rights, appointing corrupt judges in
reccess, are you getting law makers to follow the law, it’s
all rigged
yes bush all your cronyism and corruption is very unacceptable,
a compulsive liar, you screwed up new orleans, you can’t even
provide the essentials of service to this country.
enough now… :)
something tells me this is going to be a long long thread just to
see how everybody responds to georges vision everything is
unacceptable.
for one thing i know for sure, for the next 23 months what will
george bush talk about every day…. OF COURSE, terrorists
isn’t 5 long years long enough. NO……..
yeh right terrorists, but don’t forget cheney will go right through
the revolving door right to the private sector come 2008/2009
and george bush will live on with his contribution of 500 million
memorial.
yes george bush, totally unacceptable…….
and i guess WE THE PEOPLE will deal with the weakest dollar EVER
and generations of debt for georges, terrorists…. absolutely
VERY unacceptable

I have to wonder if the last two years of reading non-fiction books has pricked a little hole in Bubble Boy’s cozy little faux-reality and forced him to recognize that life isn’t Dom Perignon, Filet Mignon and Caviar for every one else…
After you say something is unacceptable, and you are the President of the United States, you would think some of that “unacceptable” stuff would get fixed. What has Bush fixed?
The American Psychiatric Association needs to get their heads out of their collective butts and do something about this obviously sick man who has all of the hallmarks of serious psychiatric disease. Baker Act anyone??
…censorship on a reputed Progressive site is “unacceptable”…
…especially censorship on such a relevant, coherent and possibly enlightening (for those still in the dark) treatise on the criminal Bushite junta/right wing conned’selfservative agenda…
…isn’t that (Briseadh’s deleted post) what this site is supposed to be about?
I just posted a comment about 10 minutes ago in response to Troll’s request for other “Bushisms.” Didn’t show up. No foul language or any veiled attempt (you know…sh*t and all that). No 9/11 conspiracy theories. Yet I’ve posted other comments today on other threads and there was no problem.
This site has had problems ever since the threads on “Path to 9/11″ were posted. What’s up? Either there are tech problems and the administrators don’t care (I think this is alot of it…I’ve had posts to appear, disappear, and the re-appear at a later time), or they are putting in some manual labor and getting too selective on what they are and are not allowing to appear, or the filters are working overtime, or who the heck knows. May be a combo of all three.
Wow! It is so amazing! Phony Christian plucked turkey with chimpy eyebrows has accomplished so much through Devil worshipping! Yes God put him there! To punish us! The chimp has not scored a single point in these last 8 years hasn’t played a single tune right in all this time Yet he’s still in power! He has cheated all of us blind! He has mocked this great nation! but, he’s still there if i was to be in his proximity and with a gun i wouldn’t hesitate to go out there and do America and the World the great favor of wiping him out i want to see chimp choke in his own blood I can’t wait!!!
May be a combo of all three.

They told us that they had some problems with their spam filter in December. I’ve noticed that it seems to store them in increments, and then post those in a cache simultaneously at timed intervals. I guess it cues and scans the posts for set criteria, and then releases them. It’s pretty noticable if you watch for it.
I’ve found that lengthy posts tend to do the disappear and re-appear thing or just never show up because they exceed some arbitrary word count.
I don’t know, I don’t think TP is intentionally messing with people (IRI had claimed that several times before he finally gave up). I think the site just became really popular and in a way to balance between the spam and valid posts, there have been glitches.
Judd has taken the time to email me to let me know that he’s banned someone who impersonated me. I don’t think he would have done that if he didn’t really care about us and want this to be a community, so in retrun, I look for the most logical answer. Growing Pains. Know it’s not as exciting as the other theories, but I think it’s the most likely.
Alright, that thumbsnap of the GWB in Photoshoped distortion is funny, but do you have any new ones?

Briseadh and Trip, while it is really frustrating trying to post and not being able to, I guess that you are giving too much credit to Judd and his team as having a clandestine agenda (Trip´s words). I guess that they are really busy in order to be searching for your posts and deleting them just because they dont like you or beacuse these posts are “dangerous to the stablishment”. I think, again, that they have technical problems. We say that trolls dont have that problem, but really, how cant we know? I always post on Climate Change threads and some of them never get to the screen, I dont think steam reforming techniques to get hydrogen to be used in fuel cells are a disrupting information against the “clandestine agenda” and nonetheless they are deleted. But, of course, I could be wrong…please, keep posting.
A voice from Gitmo’s darkness THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE

Guantanamo Bay Naval Base, Cuba — I AM WRITING from the darkness of the U.S. detention camp at Guantanamo in the hope that I can make our voices heard by the world. My hand quivers as I hold the pen.
In January 2002, I was picked up in Pakistan, blindfolded, shackled, drugged and loaded onto a plane flown to Cuba. When we got off the plane in Guantanamo, we did not know where we were. They took us to Camp X-Ray and locked us in cages with two buckets — one empty and one filled with water. We were to urinate in one and wash in the other.
At Guantanamo, soldiers have assaulted me, placed me in solitary confinement, threatened to kill me, threatened to kill my daughter and told me I will stay in Cuba for the rest of my life. They have deprived me of sleep, forced me to listen to extremely loud music and shined intense lights in my face. They have placed me in cold rooms for hours without food, drink or the ability to go to the bathroom or wash for prayers. They have wrapped me in the Israeli flag and told me there is a holy war between the Cross and the Star of David on one hand and the Crescent on the other. They have beaten me unconscious.
What I write here is not what my imagination fancies or my insanity dictates. These are verifiable facts witnessed by other detainees, representatives of the Red Cross, interrogators and translators.
During the first few years at Guantanamo, I was interrogated many times. My interrogators told me that they wanted me to admit that I am from Al Qaeda and that I was involved in the terrorist attacks on the United States. I told them that I have no connection to what they described. I am not a member of Al Qaeda. I did not encourage anyone to go fight for Al Qaeda. Al Qaeda and Osama bin Laden have done nothing but kill and denigrate a religion. I never fought, and I never carried a weapon. I like the United States, and I am not an enemy. I have lived in the United States, and I wanted to become a citizen.
I know that the soldiers who did bad things to me represent themselves, not the United States. And I have to say that not all American soldiers stationed in Cuba tortured us or mistreated us. There were soldiers who treated us very humanely. Some even cried when they witnessed our dire conditions. Once, in Camp Delta, a soldier apologized to me and offered me hot chocolate and cookies. When I thanked him, he said, “I do not need you to thank me.” I include this because I do not want readers to think that I fault all Americans.
But, why, after five years, is there no conclusion to the situation at Guantanamo? For how long will fathers, mothers, wives, siblings and children cry for their imprisoned loved ones? For how long will my daughter have to ask about my return? The answers can only be found with the fair-minded people of America.
I would rather die than stay here forever, and I have tried to commit suicide many times. The purpose of Guantanamo is to destroy people, and I have been destroyed. I am hopeless because our voices are not heard from the depths of the detention center.
If I die, please remember that there was a human being named Jumah at Guantanamo whose beliefs, dignity and humanity were abused. Please remember that there are hundreds of detainees at Guantanamo suffering the same misfortune. They have not been charged with any crimes. They have not been accused of taking any action against the United States.
Show the world the letters I gave you. Let the world read them. Let the world know the agony of the detainees in Cuba.
I am glad you like the pic of GDumbya. Here’s one of the real President of the U.S. addressing the American people –> http://thumbsnap.com/v/VnH3TpVU.jpg
Email Senator Joseph Lie’berman (google us senate)…
…let him know that his decidion to ignore the Katrina debacle is “unacceptable”….
…here’s a form letter that may help…
Dear Senator Lieberman,
I was deeply troubled to hear that you have decided not to pursue hearings into the question of the disastrous failures of the FEMA/Bush administration/federal governmental response to Hurricane Katrina. The victims of that horrible storm were further victimized by a clearly “broken” government emergency management system. How can we “fix” the system if we do not examine its flaws, and the impact those flaws have on the victims it is designed to help? I realize that there are those in Congress who wish to protect the image of our government, and who don’t want to engage in partisan political blame games. However, this situation clearly demonstrated gross criminal negligence on the parts of many of the officials/agencies responsible to protect and serve the constituency in capacities that they (the officials/agencies) received compensation/funding for. Seeking accountability from those responsible for mismanaging this situation is critical in restoring the people’s confidence in their governmental institutions and officials.
If you refuse to do your duty then your name should/will certainly go down in history as an accomplice in covering up what is ostensibly government “criminal” wrongdoing. I urge you to reconsider your decision, and help rectify this catastrophic failure on the government’s part.

Hi BnF, here are some of the strange things that have happened with me while posting here at TP. Cache issue with Explorer where old threads come up and if I don’t refresh IE, new threads don’t come up. This is the only site that this happens with. I have cleared cache, ran diags, chkdsk…. doesn’t fail.
Site fails to load at all, and causes IE to crash…when I first started posting had no issues. If I run Ethereal I see that I get no response from TP server. Packet sniffing shows runt packets on the return path.
Deleted post…not some, but all in some cases. I don’t feel what I’m posting is controversial…I don’t slam Israel. In fact I support the Israeli people just not the “The Institute”… or factions of Mossad that have splintered.
Or how about this one of Dick the Prick hanging around his “undisclosed location” waiting for Jeff Gannon’s daily visit –> http://thumbsnap.com/v/pMPqjqXK.jpg

Thanks for the info. I guess like most of us, I got spoiled after seeing my posts appear instantly (and especially after visiting some sites that would post only after the administrators had reviewed it).
Briseadh and Trip, while it is really frustrating trying to post and not being able to, I guess that you are giving too much credit to Judd and his team as having a clandestine agenda (Trip´s words).
Thanks for the accreditation. ^_^
I guess that they are really busy in order to be searching for your posts and deleting them just because they dont like you or beacuse these posts are “dangerous to the stablishmentâ€.
First of all, I never accused the editors of TP of acting from personal reasons. It is my firm belief that this is business, not personal at all.
Second, I never claimed that our posts were deleted because of some “danger to the establishment” (whatever the ‘establishment may be). What I do claim is that there are certain topics that are verboten to be discussed on ThinkProgress, and that users who write posts concerning said topics have their posts summarily deleted, while users who persist in writing posts concerning said topics wind up banned. In the absence of any coherent explanation of why some posts are thus unacceptable while others are fine, including posts that clearly violate the listed Terms of Use of the site, I am forced to postulate a clandestine agenda.
I think, again, that they have technical problems. We say that trolls dont have that problem, but really, how cant we know? I always post on Climate Change threads and some of them never get to the screen, I dont think steam reforming techniques to get hydrogen to be used in fuel cells are a disrupting information against the “clandestine agenda†and nonetheless they are deleted.
I addressed this point a few weeks ago, but I don’t mind repeating myself.
We’re currently seeing two separate issues here regarding the ‘disappearing’ of posts. One issue, the one you reference, is that of posting a comment, only to find that it never sees the light of day. This, I will concede, is entirely likely to be a technical problem with the site, especially since the vast majority of posters who have complained of it (such as yourself) describe their posts (such as fuel cell technology), and it is clear that such posts do not fall within the ‘verboten’ topics I mentioned earlier.
The second issue…the issue which is plaguing posters like Briseadh, JTitor, and myself, is that of posts going through and being visible on the board (and sometimes even garnering a few replies) before being ‘disappeared’ without a trace. In the event of a post egregiously violating the Terms of Use on this site, they are erased and replaced by a (comment deleted by admin) message, but the ones that fall afoul of the clandestine agenda are deleted without a trace, incidentally changing the number of every succeeding post. It is usually only by comparing the numbers referenced by posters replying to older posts with the actual contents of that numbered post that one can discern that there was a comment deleted at all.
This is the behavior that Briseadh and I find so objectionable.
It has become nearly impossible to post thoughtful and well researched articles critical of Israel on Crooks & Liars. They deem everything to do with Israel as either “Conspiracy Theory” or “anti-Semitism” - both red herrings to justify CENSORSHIP IN AMERICA TO THE BENEFIT OF ISRAEL.
Thanks for the info. I guess like most of us, I got spoiled after seeing my posts appear instantly (and especially after visiting some sites that would post only after the administrators had reviewed it).

Trueblue, The deleting of great poster’s like BnF has been going on for awhile…Mine are not special and have been deleted often, upsetting yes but not as important to me as BnF, Zooey, Unbelievable, Juan C, Wayne, Clyde, your’s and several other good posters…..It is like someone turning the light’s off when I’m in the middle of a great book, I divorced the last husband for simalar bad behavior… I would hope this bad behavior and sensorship would end and that TP would get rid of some of the troll’s, having said that my patience is again wearing thin and that’s why I have not been around much either..If it does not stop quickly most of us will leave and go to other site’s……Maybe that’s their aim to turn the sight into a reich winged troll blow….It certainly will not be progressive…..Blessings
This is the behavior that Briseadh and I find so objectionable.

So what is the agenda? For them to behave in accordance with one (intentionally deleting posts), there must be a reason. That’s the part I’m not getting. What agenda?
They’ve been pretty clear about not wanting the 9/11 stuff though, so deleting those posts should be expected by now. But I haven’t heard Judd make a stand about any other topics being verboten.
I’m trying to understand, but so far I don’t know what you think the agenda is specifically.
They don’t want the dots all connected in one place. They are protecting the globalist’s agenda, which is by definition a conspiracy (notice how they’ve all made that a dirty word?). These sites are not likely profitable on their own - so as always - follow the money.
WASHINGTON: US President George W. Bush has said the execution of Saddam Hussein was mishandled, admitting in private comments to US TV journalists that the ugly scenes during the former dictator’s hanging were second only to the Abu Ghraib scandal in terms of disastrous mistakes in Iraq.
The comments came as Mr Bush conceded in a television interview that the invasion of Iraq had greatly destabilised the country - although he insisted that Iraqis should still be grateful to the US for starting the war.
As the White House scrambled to stem a flow of Republican defections over Mr Bush’s plan to send another 21,500 troops to Iraq, Mr Bush again defended the invasion, saying that Saddam had been competing with Iran to obtain a nuclear weapon and had been making the region unstable.
But pressed on the issue, and told by a Fox News interviewer that Iraq was “much more unstable now”, Mr Bush replied: “Well, no question, decisions have made things unstable.”
He added: “I think history is going to look back and see a lot of ways we could have done things better. No question about it.”
But toppling Saddam was not a mistake. “We liberated that country from a tyrant. I think the Iraqi people owe the American people a huge debt of gratitude and I believe most Iraqis express that.”
As he spoke, senior administration officials fanned out to defend his controversial military “surge” strategy in the face of greater-than-expected popular and political opposition, particularly among Republicans.
At least 16 Republican senators have either publicly opposed the escalation plan, or voiced scepticism. The defections have increased the likelihood of a Democrat-led congressional resolution opposing the surge.
Although such a resolution would have no practical effect - as Commander-in-Chief Mr Bush is free to ignore Congress on troop deployments - it would lay the ground for potentially overwhelming opposition if violence in Baghdad were not quelled.
Carl Levin, Democrat chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, told CNN that such a resolution would also send a “very, very strong message to the Iraqis that they must resolve their differences. There is not a military solution here. There is only a political solution, and that is in the hands of the Iraqis.”
ONCE AGAIN EVERY DAY IRAN IS MENTIONED >>>>BETTER GET THIS DOG BACK ON HIS LEAD
RUCerious and Jay, I noticed several time’s you both mentioned bull shit bush must resign or be Impeached….Resignation by this delusional, drunk, druggie madman will never happen…He is like a rabid pit bull….We the people have to Impeach him or march on the white house and throw him and the rest of his administration out……They all need to go to prison for war crimes and crimes against humanety…..Just my thought’s….Blessings
Unacceptable is that you sleep surprisingly well with all those innocent souls on your account.
America is lost. It will take a complete rebuilt like in Germany after 1945 to get rid of everything that those fascists have done in damage.
I am absolutely convinced that the truth will come out one day. A truth that is indeed unacceptable because it shows the full extend of the ludicrousness of the neocons. Neofascists. Neonazis. Truth is
9/11 was an inside job planned and orchestrated by our government.
The Pentagon was blown up by a missile.
The Iraq war serves the war industry and corporate powers.
The civil war in Iraq was intended and orchestrated by neofascists and legislated by Brehmer.
The execution of Hussein was to serve the president’s thirst for blood.
The attack of Iran will happen under the same policy and serve the same people.
America has turned into a totalitarian regime.
Healthcare is unaffordable for the masses.
Education is reserved for the elite.
The debt is the nail in the coffin of the USofA.
Well, at the least, I now get why the people who think there’s a TP agenda are the same people who post in support of a 9/11 Inside Job even though they’ve been asked not to.
I don’t think it’s about not connecting the dots in one place. I think it’s about the credibility of both the dots and how they are being connected. I don’t blame TP for that.
Think about it from their perspective. Judd wants to be, and frankly, is a credible journalist. If he allows this site to be linked to highly contentious conspiracy theories, he loses the very thing he is trying to build, and TP gets labeled poorly. If I were him, I’d take the same position. I know that doesn’t make me popular with the group here who supports the Inside Job (I also oppose it due to a lack of credible proof), but I’m not here to be popular.
I’m not looking for anyone’s support, just making information available for you to draw your own conclusions.
My experience is that either you are with the theorists or you are a part of some “TP agenda”. I’m just a skeptic who thinks the far left and far right are missing the entire middle.
What do you know about Dov Zakheim and Kobi Alexander?
You might want to learn all you can about them.

I can’t imagine the manpower it would take to read through every comment and decide what stays and what goes. Thus, my guess is that it’s a spam filter issue — whether key words, links, or IP addy (a tricky one since big ISPs use the same IP addys for many people).
And why 9/11 conspiracy theory posts get deleted … ? Not sure, but my guess is that TP is trying to posit itself as a legit source of news and commentary, and those comments make the site look like it’s frequented by left-wing whackos (not saying anyone who believes such theories are whackos … although I don’t buy them … I’m just sayin’ … ).
Bush IS unacceptable.
He has to go. While I have always favored impeachment, I understand that a rational, legal case has to be built first, and hearings are the first step toward removing him.
Bush is aware of that too, so he is taking steps toward his own goals of war expansion more quickly than hearings can be held and appropriations bills can be written and voted.
He needs to be stopped ASAP.
Yes, Bush is “unacceptable” on so many levels and is very much worse than that in so many ways.
There is the other unacceptable truth which has allowed Bush to assume the office of President of the United States.
American citizens through stupidity or ignorance or plain old fashioned brain-washing, voted for the bum. They accepted his many lies with the help of an obedient media and jumped right up on the BUSH/CHENEY 2004 bandwagon. For years they didn’t notice what was being taken from them, a little more each day. They lost their rights, their privacy, their economy, their honor and possibly their future. They supported this deceiver, this war criminal, this lying bastard because they thought he would be “a good guy to have a beer with.” It’s pretty clear now that if you don’t own a Corporation or a Country it’s unlikely you’ll be seeing that beer.
“The price of freedom is constant vigilance.”
That’s not just a saying, it’s the goddamn truth. Vigilance is the duty of every American to protect us from tyranny and oppression from within. Too many Americans have forgotten or never learned of that duty. They need to learn. How many of your friends know every sport score, the name of Brittany’s Ex, the winner of Survivor, but don’t know the least bit of the Constitution or the names of their Senators and Representatives?
Did you all know this nightmare is costing us 8 billion a month and thousands of people are dieing, ofcourse you do, I just wanted to remind you all of the importance of getting this maniac out of office..
Sorry it took so long to get back to reply, had a main water line rupture from the cold, had to shut the pump down and fix it…Blessings
I am guessing Wayne, and Jane, may have been affected by the power outage on the east coast, since we haven’t heard anything from them today. I hope they and everyone else over there are staying warm.
Sorry ace, I don’t do conspiracy anything. I need proof and a logic trail. It may exist, but I need to see it before I’ll support it.

It’s all around you unbelievable. If you mean that you need it spoon feed to you, then thats one thing. What if someone would have told you in 1999 that we would be on the brink of WWIII by 2007, because GWB seen it as a solution for American Security? Now look back prior to 1999 at those that had been saying that this was going to happen, I myself was calling them conspiracy nutjobs…not anymore.

Unbelievable, not all 9/11 posts get automatically deleted. I’ve told Judd I’m researching the facts, and that as something new comes up, I will continue to post on the subject.
This, from an earlier thread:
9/11 was most likely committed by a faction within our own government.
Please try and explain the cell phone calls from the air….
Comment by Briseadh na Faire — January 15, 2007 @ 4:49 pm
You see, the technological equipment necessary to allow cell phones to make calls from a commercial aircraft wasn’t available in 2001. Only recently have a couple of European air carriers started to install the necessary equipment.
The cell phone calls could not have possibly been made as claimed.
That part of the “official” explanation has been proven false.
In 1999 when Bush was running for president while holding the office of govenor of the state of Texas, a fine reporter for the San Antonio Express News asked if he knew how much a loaf of bread costs. The reply, I don’t carry cash. Now that is unacceptable.
“I would have said what’s taking so long! It should have started back when those ragheads held our citizens hostage in Iran! That’s the problem with you lefties, when we are smacked, you won’t smack back! Comment by michael — January 15, 2007 @ 5:00 pm”
****Dear Judea angel-michael! I so agree with you! I mean, I hated how our *conservative* leaders like Reagan chose to negotiate with those Iranian terrorists, and sell them weapons to get back the hostages! That peanut farmer Carter did mount a military rescue, but the *conservatives* in the military wanted to *negotiate* and didn’t want to send troops. So they sent the least capable soldiers, and screwed up the whole thing!
I really wish we would stop negotiating with terrorists! Like we did for years with Al Qaeda, the Saudis and Pakistan. Too bad our *conservative* leaders get us into these messes! But I’m glad you’re here as a *fellow-conservative* to put the blame on the *libruls* where it *squarely* belongs! We are the party of accountability after all, and we want to make sure that we hold those *libruls* accountable for not stopping us from screwing up!
Just like those dems in this congress! Those damn *libruls* can’t come up with any ideas to save our *preznit*, so Iraq is all their fault!

Judd wants to be, and frankly, is a credible journalist. If he allows this site to be linked to highly contentious conspiracy theories, he loses the very thing he is trying to build, and TP gets labeled poorly.

I agree with that. 9/11 derails entire threads (perhaps, such as this one). There are a lot of people out there who claims something about a ghost plane. I think those are right-wing paid people in order to discredit valid doubts about the 9/11 events. The one who has the entire guilt that we discuss 9/11 is US government´s. There are so many unanswered issues, even after the Comission Report, and judging the POV that this government has regarding the value of life, that is almost impossible not to think there is something fishy. So, to anyone that think we are nutjobs, allow us the ability to doubt the official explanation.
but I’m not here to be popular.
but you are, lady. :)
- 2001 enron corruption
- rolling back enviromental laws
- rolling back pollution control
- deceptively labeling so called protection for the people
- loading your administration with cronyism
- sending 150,000 to serve in iraq
- babbling on only about terrorism
- lying through your teeth about new orleans
- complete disregard your ratings are now 25%
- NOW…. flirting with nuclear war
- sending 20,000 troops, planning 90,000 more
- telling a lie, lying about a lie
- deficits, free trade, national debt
- arm twisting in 109th congress
what else is there
- so many lies
- disregarding we the people doing the hell whatever you want
- rigging elections
- totally corrupting the judical system
- giving a d**n about anything expect your hearts desire
- most secrecy, abolishing epa library
yes bush, there certainly IS PLENTY that is unacceptable.

every morning apart from your evil works is a new day and what

I think the morons who make up the 25% supporting Bush are finding TP and posting here — their willful ignorance and prejudice are extreme and senseless.
Saw this just now on crooksandliars.com from an interview with a member of the UK press:
[John] Bolton: Well look, the fundamental point is whether the civil war that exists now is going to continue or whether the Iraqis are going to decide to live together in one country.

****Dear angel michael, military god. That’s *excellent* news! I hope you weren’t part of that group of incompetents that allowed the Iran Hostage mission to go all FUBAR just to embarrass that peanut farmer. Since you’re experienced, I hope you’ll now enlist in the infantry to fight in Iraq? We need people that actually put their lives on the lines for their beliefs - and we both know we *conservatives* rarely do that. It’s so much easier to *serve* when there’s no Iraq, so you don’t want people to say you’re a *coward*, because you won’t fight now when our *preznit* needs you the most!
Get down, and sign up for the Army or National Guard. They really could use some experience soldiers that want to do more than fight *cowardly* behind the keyboard as I do daily!

****Dear unbeliever,
The problem with this theory is that we *believers* throw out conspiracy theories all of the time about how *libruls* let it happened, and Judd doesn’t mind that at all. But of course, the *biggest* conspiracy theory in the middle east is that the *mussod* knew it was going to happen and even helped it along logistically so we would have a *reason* to hate Islam.
You can see how a fellow *zionist* like Judd wouldn’t want that kind of discussion to happen. That’s just another case of *blame israel/america* first! Dam *libruls*!
It’s all around you unbelievable. If you mean that you need it spoon feed to you, then thats one thing.
This is exactly what I was talking about. Either we agree with you or we get called names and insulted. And then you wonder why it pisses off TP…
To you the connections might be acceptable. To me, they are a stretch. Has nothing to do with my cognitive abilities, so don’t insult my intelligence.
What if someone would have told you in 1999 that we would be on the brink of WWIII by 2007, because GWB seen it as a solution for American Security?
That’s not a conspiracy theory. It’s part of the American Empire which can be proven. Noam Chomsky and Gore Vidal have written several books on the matter that rely on patterns in American actions (logic).
Now look back prior to 1999 at those that had been saying that this was going to happen, I myself was calling them conspiracy nutjobs…not anymore.
Comment by JTitor — January 15, 2007 @ 4:51 pm
I’m not calling anyone anything. I just have a problem with those who call me names because I have problems with the main Alternative Theory as well as the Official Version and believe that the truth is more likely somewhere in between.
If you guys can’t respect liberals who don’t share your view, you shouldn’t be surprised when sites like TP don’t want you making such disparaging comments, or even discussing the issue as it has become a religion with many of its followers…
And yet another post of mine went out to ciber net….No matter, was just responding to the unfixable stupid’s…..Later, or maybe not, getting to be a total waste of my little time left……Blessings all
So, to anyone that think we are nutjobs, allow us the ability to doubt the official explanation.
This is a strawman that gets used a lot - that either you support one theory or another, when there are many other possibilities. And you know that.

Is that what it means when trolls frequently impersonate you? :)
Comment by Juan C — January 15, 2007 @ 5:27 pm
Juan you’ve been civil about this. And while we don’t agree on some things, I think we do agree that the debate of this between liberals must be respectful if there is to be debate.
The opposite reaction to force is resistance. Why America will never be a Christian nation.
Wrong, michael.
We debate until we finally realize that your only objective is to spew venom, THEN and only then do we say, “Please go away.”
Your sites, on the other hand, outright ban people who stray a fraction from the approved talking points.
You are allowed to still post here, as long as you keep to the terms.
you make belligerent comments in the hope of baiting someone, then rapidly change the subject. There is no debating with you, because you don’t debate.
BTW, it’s nice to know that most of your comments get deleted.
Comment by Zooey — January 15, 2007 @ 5:39 pm
MA said that his get deleted occasionally as well on the Bush thread.
Everyone - It’s not just liberals talking about conspiracies who are losing posts… It’s a technical issue most likely. So can we get back to discussing the issues? Or pounding the trolls? It’s like the Irish immigrant indentured servants bickering with the African slaves while the Southern Planation Owners were freely abusing both.
Thank’s trueblue I will check with Zooey, maybe she can give us each other’s email’s….No I am not amazing, but I thank you for thinking so…I am just resoursful and have many little talent’s like fixing pipes, training horses, hugging trees, loving life and all in it…You and all the next generation of progressives are the amazing one’s and indeed you will need to be……You will have to be the torch berrers for your children and beyond….Tough time’s make good tough people, you are part of that, I know you are up to the task…….Blessings
“We debate until we finally realize that your only objective is to spew venom”
That is NOT my objective! My objective is to challenge the ridiculous statements you liberals make such as “look at the shape the countrys (sic) in now”. I challenged the person to explain it. I’m sure I will wait a very long time before I get a sensible answer.
how about spiraling national debt, incompetent leadership, over-extended, and frankly worn our military, insecure ports, inability, or inaction to actually fight our enemies, etc… that elaborate enough, or do you need your faced rubbed in it a bit more?
Please you can spin it anyway you want, but that is the sum total of what you are doing. being belligerant. Please Micheal. Read the News The debt is out of control, the military is over extended. everything I stated above is fact, not some talking points.
The commenter known as “polyps” who made the statement, “look at the shape the countrys (sic) in now,†is a troll who came here to puke all over the place and stir things up.
If you’re here to debate, then fine, get started debating. It’s difficult to take you seriously when you open with words like “ragheads” and “lefties.”
If you guys can’t respect liberals who don’t share your view, you shouldn’t be surprised when sites like TP don’t want you making such disparaging comments, or even discussing the issue as it has become a religion with many of its followers…

First off, I nned to say sorry for saying you would want it spoon feed. That was wrong. Part of the issue is that I don’t know what you know, what you have read on the subject? Most of the comments I have seen have come from realible sorces that have backed up there facts. The issue that I have is what I hear are lies from this administration. The administration puts together a commission to investigate 9/11, 727 days after the event kicking and screaming. Then the comission report comes out and it is a whitewash. All I ask is that a impartial comission be assembled to reinvestigate. 9/11 is at the core of everything that is happening now and will be happening for some time to come. I would like to know the truth.
Supposed to warm up here after tomorrow Zoo. but they are expecting another snowfall. I guess I will find out more tomorrow. but the temps have been hovering in the low 30’s for about a week now. I am guessing Idaho is getting much the same thing.
It seems to me like I’ve heard this from you Dems before, like during the Reagan administration. We grew ot of it then just as we will grow out of it today.
“the military is over extended”
They are? How? Don’t reply with “read the news”. That’s not an answer. That tells me you can’t respond and are directing me to a newspaper.
“everything I stated above is fact”
Now listen, you made the statements not me. If you are going to make statements like these I assume YOU have facts to back them up.

****Isn’t it awful how those *libruls* whine about debt. Just look at how they were so scared of screwing our children, Clinton raised taxes and cut spending so we wouldn’t have to *grow* our debt. I’m not sure what you mean by *grow-into*, because economists point out that the debt is growing faster than the economy, so this means by 2040 our taxes will be twice what they are today to have the same level of government services. Is that the kind of *growth* you were thinking of - one in *my* taxes! Because that’s not what I want to see!

And this nation finds him and his administration “unacceptable”. So tit for tat; I am sure the Educator-In-Chief will understand this logic.
January 15th, 2007 at 11:32 amBush is unacceptable, so he must resign or be impeached with Cheney!
January 15th, 2007 at 11:33 amUnacceptable, that’s what you are, unacceptable, in every way.

January 15th, 2007 at 11:33 amGeorge W. Bush, you are unacceptable.
January 15th, 2007 at 11:36 amto my ears, this is yet another example of bush’s paltry attempt to make up for his poor public speaking skills. it’s one of those stock, practiced lines that he trots out whenever he can’t think of anything authentic to say, but it makes him sound tough. i’ll refer readers to some of his other trademark stock phrases:
“I appreciate…”
“I’m looking forward to…”
“I understand…”
“Part of my job…”
“It’s hard work.”

January 15th, 2007 at 12:08 pmGet used to it folks.

Sudan genocide “unacceptableâ€
North Korea Nukes: “unacceptableâ€
Iran Nukes: “unacceptableâ€
Catch & Release: “unacceptableâ€
DC’s Schools: “unacceptableâ€

inefficient, wasteful, and mistakes are made
but bush & the 109th are totally unacceptable and so far the 110th has
said it’s off the table, but we are going to serve the people and clean
up ethics, but the very next day, guess what…. fundraiser at $1000 plates
has congress accompblished anything yet in the 1’st 100 hours or are they
just setting up a situation that is conflictual to lobbyists and are we just
being minipulated again? we will certainly know within a year or two, but
so far that appears unacceptable too.
oh well, i guess it’s no different than the legacy since nixon…. yes bush
January 15th, 2007 at 12:19 pmcorruption/k street/all your chronies is very unacceptable
January 15th, 2007 at 12:21 pmThe smirking gun was High Treason on 9-11: that was, is and always will be… unacceptable…

January 15th, 2007 at 1:45 pmI just posted a comment about 10 minutes ago in response to Troll’s request for other “Bushisms.” Didn’t show up.

Just my two cents worth…

January 11, 2007

January 15th, 2007 at 2:57 pmHi BnF, here are some of the strange things that have happened with me while posting here at TP.

January 15th, 2007 at 3:05 pmJuan C sez:
Thanks for the accreditation. ^_^
January 15th, 2007 at 3:13 pmIt has become nearly impossible to post thoughtful and well researched articles critical of Israel on Crooks & Liars. They deem everything to do with Israel as either “Conspiracy Theory” or “anti-Semitism” - both red herrings to justify CENSORSHIP IN AMERICA TO THE BENEFIT OF ISRAEL.
Do you get it yet?

So what is the agenda? For them to behave in accordance with one (intentionally deleting posts), there must be a reason. That’s the part I’m not getting. What agenda?
They’ve been pretty clear about not wanting the 9/11 stuff though, so deleting those posts should be expected by now. But I haven’t heard Judd make a stand about any other topics being verboten.

Dictator’s hanging was botched: Bush

January 15th, 2007 at 4:15 pmWell, at the least, I now get why the people who think there’s a TP agenda are the same people who post in support of a 9/11 Inside Job even though they’ve been asked not to.
Thanks for the link. I think I get it now.
January 15th, 2007 at 4:18 pmI’m not looking for anyone’s support, just making information available for you to draw your own conclusions.
My experience is that either you are with the theorists or you are a part of some “TP agenda”. I’m just a skeptic who thinks the far left and far right are missing the entire middle.

January 15th, 2007 at 4:22 pmOn the topic of censoring on TP:
My $.02 … keep the change.
January 15th, 2007 at 4:31 pmBush IS unacceptable.
January 15th, 2007 at 4:34 pmHe has to go.
What happened to BnF at #15?
January 15th, 2007 at 4:36 pmYes, Bush is “unacceptable” on so many levels and is very much worse than that in so many ways.
That is UNACCEPTABLE.
Just look where it has brought us.

The cell phone calls could not have possibly been made as claimed.
That part of the “official” explanation has been proven false.

Truly amazing!~
This racist/biggoted posting gets through, but any factual evidence linking Israel to 9/11 does not. Priorities, eh?
Israel is not a race, nor is it a religion. It is a country whose espionage and blackmail has led us to the bring of armageddon.
January 15th, 2007 at 5:27 pmJudd wants to be, and frankly, is a credible journalist. If he allows this site to be linked to highly contentious conspiracy theories, he loses the very thing he is trying to build, and TP gets labeled poorly.
Comment by unbelievable

January 15th, 2007 at 5:27 pmI think the morons who make up the 25% supporting Bush are finding TP and posting here — their willful ignorance and prejudice are extreme and senseless.

Did a racist murder make things all better for you jackass?
Apparently not.

January 15th, 2007 at 5:38 pmUnfortunately most of my posts get deleted but please explain what shape we are in that is so horrible?

That’s priceless, one troll responding to another.
BTW, it’s nice to know that most of your comments get deleted.
January 15th, 2007 at 5:39 pmIt’s all around you unbelievable.
January 15th, 2007 at 5:39 pm“look at the shape the countrys (sic) in now.â€
Nice try, I’m a bit past the age for a recruit, how about you?
January 15th, 2007 at 5:40 pmYou need someone to explain to you what’s wrong with our country?

January 15th, 2007 at 5:48 pm“Open your eyes and think for yourself for a change Michael. I’m not your mommy. Figure it out squid.”
I see nothing that bad. Are you not able to elaborate?
January 15th, 2007 at 5:50 pmSo, to anyone that think we are nutjobs, allow us the ability to doubt the official explanation.
This is a strawman that gets used a lot - that either you support one theory or another, when there are many other possibilities. And you know that.
but you are, lady. :)

Believe me, from my POV, you are not wasting your time.
January 15th, 2007 at 5:53 pmWrong, michael.
We debate until we finally realize that your only objective is to spew venom, THEN and only then do we say, “Please go away.”
Your sites, on the other hand, outright ban people who stray a fraction from the approved talking points.
You are allowed to still post here, as long as you keep to the terms.
January 15th, 2007 at 5:53 pmIs TP taking the day off today? No new threads.

Oh! You’re here to debate? Well, then — go ahead. Get started.
January 15th, 2007 at 5:56 pmFrankly micheal,
you make belligerent comments in the hope of baiting someone, then rapidly change the subject. There is no debating with you, because you don’t debate.

January 15th, 2007 at 5:59 pm“We debate until we finally realize that your only objective is to spew venom”
That is NOT my objective! My objective is to challenge the ridiculous statements you liberals make such as “look at the shape the countrys (sic) in now”. I challenged the person to explain it. I’m sure I will wait a very long time before I get a sensible answer.

January 15th, 2007 at 6:02 pmUmm micheal,
how about spiraling national debt, incompetent leadership, over-extended, and frankly worn our military, insecure ports, inability, or inaction to actually fight our enemies, etc… that elaborate enough, or do you need your faced rubbed in it a bit more?
January 15th, 2007 at 6:10 pm“you make belligerent comments in the hope of baiting someone, then rapidly change the subject.”
And you can provide an example of this?
January 15th, 2007 at 6:10 pmA, krazny, that’s a mouthful! I could just as easily spew out a bunch of similar propaganda without backing it up with some facts?

January 15th, 2007 at 6:21 pm#129 - michael
The commenter known as “polyps” who made the statement, “look at the shape the countrys (sic) in now,†is a troll who came here to puke all over the place and stir things up.
If you’re here to debate, then fine, get started debating. It’s difficult to take you seriously when you open with words like “ragheads” and “lefties.”

Comment by unbelievable — January 15, 2007 @ 5:39 pm
January 15th, 2007 at 6:33 pmSupposed to warm up here after tomorrow Zoo. but they are expecting another snowfall. I guess I will find out more tomorrow. but the temps have been hovering in the low 30’s for about a week now. I am guessing Idaho is getting much the same thing.
January 15th, 2007 at 6:37 pm“The debt is out of control”
It seems to me like I’ve heard this from you Dems before, like during the Reagan administration. We grew ot of it then just as we will grow out of it today.
“the military is over extended”
They are? How? Don’t reply with “read the news”. That’s not an answer. That tells me you can’t respond and are directing me to a newspaper.
“everything I stated above is fact”

****Isn’t it awful how those *libruls* whine about debt. Just look at how they were so scared of screwing our children, Clinton raised taxes and cut spending so we wouldn’t have to *grow* our debt. I’m not sure what you mean by *grow-into*, because economists point out that the debt is growing faster than the economy, so this means by 2040 our taxes will be twice what they are today to have the same level of government services. Is that the kind of *growth* you were thinking of - one in *my* taxes! Because that’s not what I want to see!
