I also don’t watch the Bush speak ANYWHERE. I don’t watch war criminals smirking on my tv. Who needs that.

You’ve got to be one of the most miserable people on the planet. People like you eat, sleep, and breathe your hatred for Bush every single day. Even though you hate the guy, you’ll suffer through an entire interview just so you can get on line and share your sick obsession with others like yourself. You also detest Fox News, yet many of you appear to watch it far more than any conservatives I know. What drives this kind of behavior? It’s not healthy to constantly engage issues that are clearly upsetting to you. My comment to katy was friendly in nature. If watching Bush in an interview raises her blood pressure, then why watch it? It’s just not worth getting that upset over.

I do have a serious question for Progs and Progettes. If The Dems vote to slap the President’s hand (for the record of course) and then vote to provide the surge funding, how betrayed will Progs feel? I would have thought with the “mountain” of support progs garnered for Dems, you could expect a full retreat – complete with white flags……

The sad thing is GWB never anticipated that phrase coming back to haunt him.

The National Guard need to be returned to their states — Congress must break Bush’s claim on unlimited power, and will. But your flapping your arms around warning of Bushco completing their seizure of power ignores many, many factors, not least of which is that Bushco doesn’t have the kind of public support it would need to lockdown the nation.

It’s a LOT goddamned harder than it looks.
