Ir George W. Bush is not by common definition a simpleton, why does he persist in acting like one?

Nowhere in all this gleeful rhetoric over â€œdumb as a stumpâ€ Bush and Santorum does there rise the realization of the REAL threat of Islamic Fascism, which would, under Sharia rule, to remove free speech. Never, never from the lefty posters do we hear an answer to the musical question: And, pray tell, what is your plan to defeat the global Islamic Fascist threat?

The correct response is: Do you really believe that Islamist extremists can take over the world? I’ve heard pundits go off about how Osama and his ilk want to establish a caliphate. Is this honestly a possibility? Taking over a country like Afghanistan is a whole lot different than terrorists taking over Spain or Italy. The plan, therefore, is to take the time to gather good intelligence, then use military action for isolated actions to flush out and eliminate enemies. accordingly. Establish a multi-national military counter-terrorism brigade, either via the UN or NATO to accomplish the last part. Most importantly, establish better diplomatic ties with countries, current allies and others we might not like so much. If our leaders are so cowardly, and that goes for asses as well as elephants, that we can’t talk to countries that *gasp* disagree with us, why are they in office? Establish better diplomatic ties. This way, if, God forbid, something like 9/11 happens again, here or anywhere else in the world, there will be a true Coalition of the Willing that will be able to respond.
Is this all just flight of fancy? Of course it is. I’m one of the people Bush and Santorum don’t have to listen to.
