Todd Hinnen, a counterterrorism adviser on the National Security Council staff, is leaving to become chief counsel for Sen. Joseph Biden (D-DE) on the Senate Foreign Relations Judiciary Committee. A White House ally remarked: “Once again, people on the Bush White House staff turn on him while our soldiers and Marines fight to protect the rest of us.”
Once again, people on the Bush White House staff turn on him while our soldiers and Marines fight to protect the rest of us.â€
Bullshit. They are fighting to protect corporate interests, asshole.

Drama queen. **eyes rolling**
More likely he’s a plant on the committee, who is reporting directly to Unka Karl.
January 17th, 2007 at 11:55 amOh Hi Zooey,
Do we think a like? I would say yes.
January 17th, 2007 at 11:57 am“…to protect the rest of us.â€
there it is… narrow minded narcissistic wrongheaded idealism…
January 17th, 2007 at 12:03 pmHi Truth,
I would say yes. Heh.
January 17th, 2007 at 12:05 pmIn their twisted world leaving the WH to work for a senator even a pro war vichy dem like biden is an act of betrayal aimed at our nation because to the bush cultist he is the state.
They are sick twisted pathetic people.
January 17th, 2007 at 12:13 pmThose darn turncoats.
Should they be hanged, Iraq style, or simply sent to Gitmo?
January 17th, 2007 at 12:21 pmbecause to the bush cultist he is the state.

This is what I was trying to tell Paul, if your against the President, people think you are against the country.
January 17th, 2007 at 12:22 pmIt could be that he has turned his back on the White House, or it could be that he will be a fox guarding the hen house. Biden is a slippery DLC Dem, I find it hard to trust him.
January 17th, 2007 at 12:26 pmDallasNE sez:
What’s ‘Iraq style’, DallasNE? Is it when you manage to decapitate them with the noose?
January 17th, 2007 at 12:26 pmMy first thought was that this guy is a neocon plant or infiltrator into the Democratic caucus. I may need to get away from this stuff for awhile to reduce my suspiciousness, either that or I’m accurately responding to BushCo and they’re the ones who need to be given an involuntary get away.
January 17th, 2007 at 12:28 pmEt tu Brute? (or Todd as the case may be)
Julius Shrub was heard saying as “…people on the Bush White House staff turn on him…”
January 17th, 2007 at 12:28 pmA correction is needed:
A White House ally remarked: “Once again, people on the Bush White House staff turn on him while our soldiers and Marines fight to protect our double-dealing and sorry asses against the rest of us Americans.â€
January 17th, 2007 at 12:29 pm“Once again”? So this is a recurring problem. Maybe it should be looked into. Aren’t they already spying on all the people in the White House? If this keeps up it will only be Laura and Barney.
January 17th, 2007 at 12:32 pmcan we have both the turncoat and the ally testify at the impeachment hearings??
January 17th, 2007 at 12:36 pm“Once again, people on the Bush White House staff turn on him while our soldiers and Marines fight to protect the rest of us.â€
Note to Hendler, Exley, Daryll etc – if you wonder why your side cops the Nazi jibes, now’s the time to stop playing dumb.
January 17th, 2007 at 12:44 pmHe could be a fox in the henhouse, or it could be that he just really takes his job seriously and sees the Bush administration as working against the country’s best interests. Rand Beers was Bush’s counter-terrorism expert until he quit out of disgust for Bush’s move to take troops out of Afghanistan and invade Iraq. Same for Richard Clarke.
January 17th, 2007 at 12:46 pmTell me why I have not seen the democratic leader on any TV for over a year , who is he anyway, he spends more time on holiday than BUSH
January 17th, 2007 at 12:55 pmCan we please get free of this meme about our soldiers “fighting to protect us”?
The soldiers do no such thing. The soldiers do what they are ordered to do. If they are told to take (or retake or re-retake) Najaf, they will go and do that. If they are ordered to fall back to a less intrusive position (re-deploy), they will do that. If ordered to march to Tehran, they will march to Tehran following orders not “protecting us”. If the soldiers are ordered to cut & run, that is what they will do and if ordered to lay down their arms and surrender to Osama Bin Laden, then that is what they will have to do.
The troops do not fight any “war”, they just do the fighting. There is a difference. And oh yes, only the soldiers do the dying. The people who fight the “war†do not do the dying.
January 17th, 2007 at 12:58 pmWhat’s the big deal?
He’s just transferring from one area of corruption to another area of corruption.
Do you honestly think anybody will be held accountable for anything?
The human race is so corrupt, God isn’t even paying attention anymore.
January 17th, 2007 at 12:58 pm#10 – TripMaster Monkey
Was I that obvious on “Iraq style”?
I sure hope so!
January 17th, 2007 at 1:00 pmGood and he needs to spill the beans on the Bush Regime!
January 17th, 2007 at 1:02 pmSomeone spare me please.
January 17th, 2007 at 1:12 pmUS accused of raid on Sudan embassy
Sudan has summoned the senior US diplomat in Khartoum after it said American troops raided the Sudanese embassy in Baghdad, violating diplomatic conventions, a foreign ministry spokesman has said.
January 17th, 2007 at 1:29 pmWait, the counterterrorism czar left the White House? Again? And he’s moving into a position to slam the White House’s counter-terrorism efforts? Again? How many counter-terrorism czars have done this now?
