Percentage of Americans who oppose escalation in Iraq, versus 36 percent who support it, according to a new Bloomberg/Los Angeles Times poll. “Some two-thirds of Americans disapprove of Bush’s management of the Iraq situation, and the percentage of those who said the war hasn’t been worth it also rose to a high of 62 percent.”
It’s about time. I can’t believe it’s taken some people so long to realize what a tremendous mistake this was.
January 18th, 2007 at 12:26 pmThe American public overwhelmingly insist that Iraq debacle-fiasco-quagmire comes to a quick end, and all the troops returned home, so the Congress must do it > PERIOD.

January 18th, 2007 at 12:35 pmNew World Orders are hard work.
What the American people have to understand is we’re smarter than them…and we have more money.
The mainstream media has been a co-conspirator in this illegal war. If our media were working correctly, the American people would have figured this thing out a long time ago.
January 18th, 2007 at 12:35 pmIn the wacky world of George/God, the opinions of the little people don’t really count.
January 18th, 2007 at 1:12 pmWhat’s that, God?
Oh, I should build concentration camps to put dissenters in?
Already covered, big guy, thanks for the tip.
We “the people” MUST figure out a strategy to take back our public airwaves from corporate pirates like Murdoch, Eisner (Disney) et al…
…the FCC under the Bushites have become the people’s (and democracy’s) adversary…
…where to begin?
…Congress of course…
January 18th, 2007 at 1:15 pmI know this is frequently brought up on TP, but I have to… WHO are these 30%ers? Even my conservative friends and family have finally come around (although in a very limited fashion – still looking back fondly at the Reagan years, but they have come around on W anyway). If the 30%ers want a fascist state to live in so bad, why don’t they just move to Cuba? It’s nice and tropical down there…

I’ve had this nagging suspicion Parrot…
…that at least 10-15% of them…
…are msm’s creation…
…notice how Bushiva’s Job Approval rating NEVER falls below 30%…
…but EVEN MORE telling is the fact that…
…one NEVER sees L’il Dick’s A/D ratings…

ME!

****Dear angel michael, our *fuhrer* so appreciates your support, as do I! Without *loyalist-nationalists* like you, there would be no fascist or zionist movements in america! Your unquestioning loyalty is exactly what I expect from a soldier of the *apocalypse*! Thank you for helping to bring about the *rapture* for *zion*! Please never learn to question, think or reason for yourself – we need everyone one of you 30%ers!
January 18th, 2007 at 3:18 pmBy far the vast majority of 30%ers are Christian fanatics. Bush says he is a good man and they believe him. There are no facts and no circumstances that will shake that belief, because that’s the way believers are.
There is another group that support Bush because, by God, they voted for him and they are not going to admit that they made a mistake.
Another small group are the “lawyer” mentality, they are advocates of Bush. That’s how they see their role, they will sift through the evidence to find any tiny sliver that could be construed, or even misconstrued as being positive for Bush.
And there may be 5% or so who really think he is doing the right thing. But I doubt it.

I do because I understand the stakes, you obviously don’t!
January 18th, 2007 at 7:47 pmDamn 30%ers…. and what a bizarre mindset: Apparently the way out of a hole is to keep digging.
Of course, it is easy for them to chest-thump and support a disastrous military adventure from the comfort of their own home, without having to sacrifice anything beyond their pretty little “peace of mind when they see the terrible images of violence on TV every night” -which are carefully sanitised to begin with. Not to mention they can change the channel.
Talk is cheap and getting cheaper with this crowd.

How about expanding on that statement?
