Well some intelligence and brevity arrives on the scene in politics for once. You can bet McCain wont want to be eating crumpets and drinking tea while trying out ” talk therapy ” with the terrorists
McCain wrote one sentence descriptions on ping pong balls; of every idea he’s had on this subject.
Last night he put them all into the chili roaster, gave it a spin, and picked one out. Undoubtedly, he won’t like the one he pulls out, and will spin the drum again……
Most people I talk to dont like keeping up on politics very much .. and yet somehow ALL of them have the opinion that McCain is a loser… even those that dont get how much the religious right hates the Constitution and so dont see as a big deal his pandering to them.
I thought highly of him in 2000. But then again I still like some things about Reagan like starwars, the berlin wall, and nuke reductions… but even Reagan didnt pander to the right. In fact many on the right didnt trust Reagan and his “psychic loving wife”…
For three plus years while the Repubs controlled congress they could’ve provided oversight that might have stopped the horrible waste perpetuated by Halliburton and others in Iraq. THEY DID NOTHING!! Now, with the Dems controlling congress and threatening to provide better oversight of this wanton spending, McCain comes up with ‘HIS’ idea of providing better oversight.
These guys are incredibly arrogant to think they can get away with such claims. And yet the MSM will talk about how innovative McCain is to come up with the idea of congressional oversight.
As he has been sleeping alot I hope he doesn’t have memory lost to. His friends in the White House have that illness. McCain is so far up Bush’s butt he can’t see and sleeps alot now. This plan is most likely one that was given to him by Bush/Cheney and he’ll pass it off as his to trick the public. To bad Libby is blaming all the journalist for leaking CIA’s name and most likely the invasion of Iraq. So McCain might use the same policy as he gives the McCain/Bush/Cheney/Rummy plan. At lease Rummy kept his job as a consultant to Gates. Now Rummy can run things and as they go down hill he can say it was Gates fault. All this while Americans watch our troops get shot down like sitting ducks. Now Cheney is saying how well things are going yet he was scared to serve the US when needed so he is clue less about the military. To him troops dying means nothing he thinks of them like the ducks he kills.
And bootlicking Lieberman asks at the hearing on Petraeus yesterday, implying that dissenters are traitors:
Sen. Joseph I. Lieberman (I-Conn.) asked Army Lt. Gen. David H . Petraeus during his confirmation hearing yesterday if Senate resolutions condemning White House Iraq policy “would give the enemy some comfort.”
The proof that rachel/angie/Buck/Sen Ted Stevens/etc is insane is the fact that it posts one way, then another and then proceeds to argue with itself. It also has an issue with its gender, posting as itself, then its boyfriend, as if it’s a girl, then says that it is the hottest tranny on the thread.
the “goodbye horses” scene in the basement in Silence of the Lambs comes to mind when I think of this person.
Why is anyone letting him introduce anything? He had his chance back when the repubs were running things.
January 25th, 2007 at 2:35 pmGo back to sleep, John.
We’ll wake you up when it’s time for you to leave the Senate.

January 25th, 2007 at 2:37 pmHe’s not listening to us when we tell him to quit now before it gets worse, so he’s going to try and show that he can still function.

McCain is a loser not a leader.
January 25th, 2007 at 3:00 pmYeah, he’ll introduce it, and he’ll be the only moroni to vote aye.
January 25th, 2007 at 3:23 pmWhat a damn embarassment he is to the veteran community.

January 25th, 2007 at 3:25 pmGo read your job description Sen McJowels. Why do you need cut and paste it calling it a resolution?
Such a pathetic pile of excrement. Worthless.
January 25th, 2007 at 3:26 pmI diagnosed Rachel a while back. I call it Borderline Personality, likely with Bi-polar disorder.
January 25th, 2007 at 3:42 pmRachel does come up with some creative names, gotta hand that to her.
I liked “Todd Prectal” from that Steve Martin movie.

January 25th, 2007 at 4:02 pmWhy do I think Jackie is just Rachel, “flipping” or having a mood swing?
January 25th, 2007 at 4:15 pmThis is why Rachel is crazy, she is a troll one minute, and then speaks sensibly another minute.
January 25th, 2007 at 4:16 pm“I’m just a paranoid, schitzoid,
January 25th, 2007 at 4:42 pmproduct of the 20th century…. ”
