We lost our homes in the wildfires of 2003 in Lake Arrowhead. It was a time that we just didn’t think we would ever get over. So to see homes burning once again in Lake Arrowhead and San Diego was a d?j? vu.

See how the lobbyists are now taking over control of the executive branch (they’ve already infested and control Congress).

Let’s face it everyone. We are being played all the time by the rich and the government, who go hand and hand. I used to work and live in DC, and I left disgusted and cynical. With good reason, no doubt. Even the ‘honest’ politician has to bend over for lobbyist.

There are three branches of government:

- The Executive (in roads being made successfully by lobbyists)
- The Supreme Court
- Lobbyists (yup I substituted them for Congress b/c Congress DOES NOT run the House and Senate, the biggest, richest companies in US and the world do)

Now we are going to war with Iran? And then North Korea? And the Taliban are coming back in Afghanistan. We are spewling American and Iraqi blood all over that country and ‘welcoming’ back our boys and girls who are either mentally or physically injuried, or at the worst, both.

Why aren’t we out in the streets?!?! Why are we letting all this happen? Are we that complacent? Shall we lie down on the train tracks and become another rail for them (politicians and big business) to run over (Thoreauian overtones) or are we going to do something?

This great country is heading for total disaster because of this administration.

IT’S OUR COUNTRY! LET’S SHOW THEM IT’S OUR COUNTRY. WE WILL DECIDE MR. DECIDER.

I’m going from California to Washington for the March 17 March against the Iraq war. It has got to stop. It’s almost five years. We Americans have blood on our hands if we just sit around and watch big screen football or play video or chat on the Internet all day. We need to take back OUR country before it is too late. It’s almost too late. They have us almost completely programmed, fearful and roboticized. I’m so F**king made (excuse me, but I am).

Spot on. We can find plenty of other more credible examples of the Bush administration downplaying climate change. We don’t need hearsay or unsupported anecdotes. They shouldn’t strengthen the case one iota.

The effects of co2 emmissions have been GLOBAL. WARMING has occured in both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres.

Not that I wouldn’t put it past BushCo to try something like that, but it sounds like a joke made the rounds.
