I don’t know much about him but his reputation suggests arrogance and aggression as foremost in character. Reading over things he has said strongly suggest highly capitalistic nature, dislike of gays and blacks and women, very likely this person is a Christian, a complete lack of interest bordering on hatred of the natural world. My opinion of him has dropped. I have to wonder what happened to make him this way.

You libs accuse Rush of hate mongering. I never heard Rush advocate hate against anyone except those who actually deserve it, like al Queada. I never heard Rush engage in racist or bigoted speech. I have heard Rush do nothing but expose REAL racists and bigots on his program, and they tend to be liberals or liberal icons. Arafag is one. Carter is another. Then you have Senator Robert Byrd (D-KKK), member of the Klan, and the racist comments of Jospeh Biden. Then you have the faculty members of Duke University. And then you have Bush Derangement Syndrome, that is real hate without reason. And of course the list goes on and on.

You libs call Rush a fascist. Well, if he is, he’s a weak fascist, whereas the real threat to our liberties have often came from the left. Gun control, suppression of free speech, institutionalized discrimination, exhorbanant taxation, the mentality of peace at any price, activist judges,…….always liberals behind those schemes, trying to misuse government power to achieve them.

You libs accuse Rush of being a war monger. Maybe he is. Maybe I am as I quit the Methodist Church over their advocation of surrender in this war. Fine. I would rather have continious warfare than the liberal concept of peace. That kind of “peace” got us World War II.

You accuse Rush of hypocrisy. I have yet to see evidence of that. But on the liberal side, there is plenty. You advocate freedom of speech while trying to suppress those who disagree with you, you call for full due process for foriegn terrorists and yet try to deny the same rights to our own citizens including US troops and now mere college students, you rail about the threat posed by religious fundamentalists so you can lean on Chirstians who are just too loud for you and yet chicken out when it’s time to fight Islamo-fascists who are actually killing people, you advocate equality for women while being willing to let other women live under status of property under these same Islamo-fascists that you refuse to fight, you scream about democratic principles while denying the same to others.

You whine about a comedian like Rush Limbaugh being nominated for a Peace Prize as an attempt to discredit Al Gore’s nomination as “what has he done for peace”? Well, Rush is a comedian. He has done far more for peace than some actual awardees. As Jack Nicholson said, “Ever hear of the healing power of laughter”?. Compare that to Arafag, who is a neo-Nazi butcher that robbed his own people blind, or Jimmy Carter who gets the award for helping make the world a far more dangerous place, or even Al Gore who just did nothing more than make a movie pushing mindless, hysterical fear.

Nominating Rush is nothing but an improvement.

Shame on the phoney, right-wing organ the did this. It’s a real shame that a good man (Gore) and his efforts have met this shameful distraction by a drug-addicted, hate-mongering, ideologue.
