Pace: Not enough equipment for escalation.
“U.S. Marine Gen. Peter Pace admitted to the Senate Armed Services Committee Tuesday equipment will be a problem when U.S. forces in Iraq are increased. … Pace said the military has about 41,000 armored vehicles in Iraq — fewer than will be needed ‘to cover all of the troops that are deploying.’ Pace said it will be July before enough equipment is in place.”

It doesn’t matter that Bush’s War in Iraq has been going on since March 2003 and that the Republican led Congress rubber-stamped everything Bush asked for. Any shortage of equipment is due to incompetence on the part of the troops in the field, not Bush or the Secretary of Defense.
Oh, and remember the incident early on in the War, where the troops in the field improvised up-armoring their vehicles? They were court-martialed for that. We can’t have the troops deciding how best to save their lives. That decision belongs to The Decider.

On 911 The WTC buildings were demolitioned by explosives placed the weekend before 911. Who did this? Will we ever know? I wont deny it. its history… It happened ..
He probably could have stoped it if he really wanted to… that was bad.
He also seemed to be a person obsessed with his money and felt he wanted to fight taxes for every last penny even though that money helps maintain our society… and that is why we all pay it.
But then I also think…
1) He talked man to man to the leader of Russia instead of hiding behind Cheney like a pussy saying over and over, “I wont talk to them until ….”
2) Berlin Wall… not all his doing but we all know how that went down.
3) He was a mostly honest person (which must be why the neocons didnt trust/like him) that got the RUSSIANS to …
4) reduce nuclear stockpiles because of that trust. Russia even eventually let us take their nuclear fuel to protect it from falling into the wrong hands.
5) STAR WARS… the idea to be able to shoot down any ballistic missle even hundreds or thousands at a time … anywhere around the globe…. well… that neutralizes all nukes now doesnt it… and would do humanity a favor. If we have to be unilateral about anything it would be about shooting down any missle shot by any country at any other country. period.
But ya a mixed character for sure.

I have hosted websites before and it baffles me that they cannot stop the lunatic “the Rachel” from posting it’s insanity. Rachel really and truly is a demented person who is seriously conflicted by the orwellian media and its physcological spin.

He was demented and his mind was failing, even while holding official office. Reagan was better than Bush, but even Nixon was better than Reagan. Anyway- There’re all a bunch of crooked psychopaths that don’t deserve the time of day, let alone an official day of remembrance.

And lots of sales at the shopping mall — things like jelly beans, astrology books, economics books, fake cowboy hats, soft pillows for napping, hair gel stuff, tanning product, etc.
That would make it easier than ever to stay away from the mall. :P
