The Washington Post breaks down the differences between “McCain the reformer” and “McCain the candidate.” The Post notes: “Just about a year and a half ago, Sen. John McCain went to court to try to curtail the influence of a group to which A. Jerrold Perenchio gave $9 million. … As McCain launches his own presidential campaign, however, he is counting on Perenchio, the founder of the Univision Spanish-language media empire, to raise millions of dollars [for his exploratory committee].”

If someone running for president is in the house or senate, I expect them to be pushing to fix things now, not in 2 years.

It is a mix of immigrants and native-borns, many into their sixth or seventh generations as Americans, all with widely divergent outlooks, incomes, and goals. McCain isn’t fluent in Spanish, nor hick; he doesn’t even have George Bush’s limited appeal to his real “base” of “I got mine” Cubans, and small-town red-necks.

I think that troll shows up when it does because it has worked out that the TP staff clear out over the weekend, starting Friday afternoon.
Imagine if you were checking out TP for the first time, and that shit is sitting there representing ths blog. If TP doesn’t care about the standard of it’s blog, they ought to just shut it down.
