U.S. sending third carrier strike group to Gulf.»

picture-1.pngNewsweek on “The Hidden War With Iran.

At least one former White House official contends that some Bush advisers secretly want an excuse to attack Iran. “They intend to be as provocative as possible and make the Iranians do something [America] would be forced to retaliate for,” says Hillary Mann, the administration’s former National Security Council director for Iran and Persian Gulf Affairs.

A second Navy carrier group is steaming toward the Persian Gulf, and NEWSWEEK has learned that a third carrier will likely follow. Iran shot off a few missiles in those same tense waters last week, in a highly publicized test. With Americans and Iranians jousting on the chaotic battleground of Iraq, the chances of a small incident’s spiraling into a crisis are higher than they’ve been in years.

The third carrier, the aging Enterprise, is already in the Arabian Sea, within striking distance of both Iran and Afghanistan.

Tens of millions of lives are at stake in this new round of confrontation by Bush. Militarily, once it appears a strike against Iran is inevitable, Iran would be wise to adopt the Bush Doctrine of premptive war and launch everything it has against the armada assembled in the Persian Gulf and the Arabian Sea.

Please pray for the sailors, their families, and the Iranians.

I think we should believe her. It’s time for mass protests in the streets of this country.

I mean even if you’re against something the person normally has some rational behind his actions. I simply can’t think of one here.
it won’t help at the polls. it won’t help in iraq. it certainly won’t bring democracy to iran.
even conspiracy theories don’t match. it won’t bring the control over oil fields. and the usual suspects of war profiteering are already heavily profiteering of iraq.
    any idea?

The cover picture tells all. Two demented religious fanatics with the will and the power to destroy their own country.

Boy George will keep poking until Iran does something, however small, and use that for justification to launch his Armageddon, like he promised Jebus he would six years ago. If Iran doesn’t provide the justification, there is so shortage of fanatics who would stage an incident and blame it on Iran.

Bush is the enemy of every American. His defenders and enablers are traitors.

The main impetus for this is coming from two places. The first is the neocon refuge at the American Enterprise Institute. All of the discredited neocons who favored the implmentation of the PNAC are there, and they are continually pushing for an expanded war in the Middle East. I haven’t heard a rationale other than the usual WMD/support Israel/mushroom cloud crap that they always spew. Somehow they think they are going to come out on top.

The second source is the theocracy/Armageddon/”kill ‘em all, let God sort ‘em out” crowd, which wields undue influence over Bush. They believe that the Midle East has to burn in order to precipitate the second coming of Christ.

So, there you have it. There isn’t any rationale that a sane person can understand. Just political whack-jobs and religous wahck-jobs that have different goals, but that both want a war in the Middle East.

Of course he does, he’s like the austrian imperial family who used to joke that the human race starts with dukes. Now that the majority has turned against him he hates them with the same passion hitler had toward the German people for failing him.

  23. Briseadh na Faire Says:

steafan, control over the oil fields and war profiteering are the motives. They either have or are about to have a 30-year contract with Iraq to exploit the Iraqi oil fields.

I think the plan might go something like this: Bomb Iran back to the stone age; leave a few thousand American Soldiers in Iraq, imbedded into Iraqi unit and backed up by mercenary contractors; push a ground war in Iran to control the oil fields nearest the gulf, and/or force a regime change.

When the resistance comes in the form of an insurgency in Iran, use the “protect our troops” mantra to institute a draft. Within 6 months of the draft, enough troops could then be pumped into Iraq and Iran to begin to threaten Saudi Arabia, whose Sunni population will be blamed for the on-going insurgency in Iraq. The Saudi Royal Family is kept in power by America, and will likely welcome American assistance at putting down the Sunni insurrection within its borders.

By the end of Bush’s Reign, we could end up with over half of a million troops permanently stationed in Iraq, Iran and Saudi Arabia. But, the supply of oil into the U.S. would be “secured” for the next three decades.

  24. JerryTheAngel Says:

Bush is like a demented and sick gambler who keeps chasing his losing bets with more losting bets, which ultimately leads to the demise of the gamblers support system(his family, friends, co-workers, etc).

Sometimes an intervention will get through to a sick person who is dragging everyone down around him. In this case, Bush is bringing America and the entire world down and one step closer to WWIII.

The Election results last year was the first intervention. Then the Baker/Hamilton report. Now we are in the process of another one. The Congress is on track to slap this President down, but Bush is a very very sick man and has crossed the point of no return.

The only intervention that will work is the threat of impeachment. We need a new Commander In Chief who is stable, not one who is mentally deranged as our President, the LAWBREAKER is.

The Democrats and any Republican with a moral backbone have to stop this madness. BRING OUR BRAVE TROOPS HOME NOW. Eventually a winner will emerge in Iraq and we can concentrate on securing our borders and start dealing with and TALKING FACE TO FACE with Iran and North Korea.

If the Democrats don’t go to the White House and tell Bush AND Cheney that they are going to impeach both of them if they don’t start redeploying our troops out of that quagmire, then they are as responsible for any needless deaths to our troops as Bush and his followers are.

The Congress has 70 percent support of America to get us out of Iraq. NOW GET ON WITH IT.

I agree that something like this courses through the minds of the AEI strategists. It’s just that they seem to have lost track of observation of reality.

Remember when the big thing among the neocons was creating your own reality, and then following it while other people were trying to apply reason to the issues and problems? They are still doing it, but they haven’t realized, even now, that everything you do has consequences, not all of which can be ignored or fixed with minimum effort. The world is to complicated to steamroller it indefinitely.

They are going to fall, because empires fall, and theirs is overdue. But they will drag us all down with them.

  29. Malroth Says:

    -unbelievable

By a real Christian, I simply mean someone who has at least a passing knowledge of the Bible, and understands that violence such as that which Bush has fun with is not the answer. I do not say that any one version of Christianity is more “real” than another. My complaint is with the politicizing of religion. It has no place in a secular society (ie. the US), as when you start bringing God into legislation, you get an argument of “I know God better than you do, and what he wants” instead of legislation that keeps in mind the best interests of society at large.

“Fake” Christians are simply those who do not follow any religion for the sake of what that religion teaches, but rather uses it as a base of power for their own desires, and not that of God. That is my definition, anyway. Oh, and not all of your definition of “Christians” voted for Bush in the first place. I know the first time I saw him on TV, with the sound muted (before I even heard version of “english”), he scared the crap out of me. Nobody should blink that much.

At any rate, I suppose my definition of what a “real” Christian is is just as valid as your definition that all Christians love Bush, and they all voted for him in both elections. Guess finally I can point out that one of the really Blue states in the nation, Minnesota, voted Blue in both presidential elections, and has some of the highest numbers of Christians in the nation.

As for the issue with Iran, it just shows how much of a war-monger this administration is. I honestly have no idea how someone can be so incompetent.

I’m with #3. The Persian Gulf makes our sailors sitting ducks. It would not take much to cause chaos out on the water and destroy some or most of our ships. And the way out of the Gulf is fairly constricted. If our ships are actually in the Gulf, two groups, that’s mighty stupid. But then our troops in Baghdad use a hundreds mile supply route that could easily be cut off. I think the word “incompetence” fits this Administration perfectly. I hope things are not as bad as they would appear. But six years of this, it’s hard not to believe.

By a real Christian, I simply mean someone who has at least a passing knowledge of the Bible, and understands that violence such as that which Bush has fun with is not the answer.

I’ve never met a Christian who has read the whole Bible. Everyone I know who has read the Bible is an Atheist or Agnostic.

The problem is, no one in teh religion has alitmus test for saying who is and who isn’t. Basically - if you say you are one, you are a member of the club. It then means you are guilty by association of those who do bad things in your name, like it or not. Probably why the Protestant Reformation started and why it hasn’t seemed to stop yet…

My complaint is with the politicizing of religion. It has no place in a secular society (ie. the US),

I agree. Unfortunately, I haven’t seen any Christians try to undo this - and that is my complaint with Christians calling one another ‘real’ and ‘not real’ - it diverts the focus from the real problem… Perversion of what Jesus actually hoped to achieve - peace.

“Fake” Christians are simply those who do not follow any religion for the sake of what that religion teaches, but rather uses it as a base of power for their own desires, and not that of God.

I understand. But, my point is that who has the right to say this? According to the Bible, judgment is not yours or any other Christians…

And really, it doesn’t matter as long as those who consider themseleves ‘real’ tolerate those who they don’t.

Oh, and not all of your definition of “Christians” voted for Bush in the first place. I know the first time I saw him on TV, with the sound muted (before I even heard version of “english”), he scared the crap out of me. Nobody should blink that much.

You’re right. I shouldn’t have said “The ‘real Christians’” - should have left off the ‘the’. It was a split. Though I’m guessing those Christians consider themeslevs to be the ‘real’ Christians - which is my problem with how it is a subjective definition… And it doesn’t really solve anything.

As for the issue with Iran, it just shows how much of a war-monger this administration is. I honestly have no idea how someone can be so incompetent.

It wasn’t the abuse, it was the scandal!

In other comments, he said the Bush administration would like to close Guantanamo Bay detention facility, but there are a number of serious and committed terrorists there that should never be let free. And he said detainee trials there will be conducted openly and with adequate defense for them.

I wonder if he would feel the same about the “adequate defense” if he and BushCo were tried for crimes against humanity.

I agree, but I think the third, and perhaps most driving force of all that makes this the perfect storm, can be realized if one studies the motives and actions of who has been steering the lies that lead to the first illegal war invasion/destruction of Iraq – ie: the other headline coincidentally in the news right now – Douglas Feith.

    http://www.guardian.co.uk/ Iraq/ Story/ 0,2763,999737,00.html

“….The OSP was an open and largely unfiltered conduit to the White House not only for the Iraqi opposition. It also forged close ties to a parallel, ad hoc intelligence operation inside Ariel Sharon’s office in Israel specifically to bypass Mossad and provide the Bush administration with more alarmist reports on Saddam’s Iraq than Mossad was prepared to authorise.
“None of the Israelis who came were cleared into the Pentagon through normal channels,” said one source familiar with the visits. Instead, they were waved in on Mr Feith’s authority without having to fill in the usual forms.
The exchange of information continued a long-standing relationship Mr Feith and other Washington neo-conservatives had with Israel’s Likud party.
In 1996, he and Richard Perle - now an influential Pentagon figure - served as advisers to the then Likud leader, Binyamin Netanyahu. In a policy paper they wrote, entitled A Clean Break: A New Strategy for Securing the Realm, the two advisers said that Saddam would have to be destroyed, and Syria, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, and Iran would have to be overthrown or destabilised, for Israel to be truly safe.
The Israeli influence was revealed most clearly by a story floated by unnamed senior US officials in the American press, suggesting the reason that no banned weapons had been found in Iraq was that they had been smuggled into Syria. Intelligence sources say that the story came from the office of the Israeli prime minister. …”

  41. Fed Up Says:

What was driving Feith to create false evidence to use to dupe the United States into war?
I still don’t quite get it though….was he working for the USA’s interests while in the Office of Special Plans….or what? Or who?

    http://en.wikipedia.org/ wiki/ A_Clean_Break:_A_New_Strategy_for_Securing_the_Realm
According to the report’s preamble[1], it was
“prepared by the Institute for Advanced Strategic and Political Studies’ Study Group on a New Israeli Strategy Toward 2000. The main substantive ideas in this paper emerge from a discussion in which prominent opinion makers, including Richard Perle, James Colbert, Charles Fairbanks, Jr.,

    Douglas Feith,

Robert Loewenberg, David Wurmser, and Meyrav Wurmser participated.”
Richard Perle, according to a footnote in the report, was the “Study Group Leader”.

    “Securing the Northern Border”
“Syria challenges Israel on Lebanese soil. An effective approach, and one with which American can sympathize, would be if Israel seized the strategic initiative along its northern borders by engaging Hizballah, Syria, and Iran, as the principal agents of aggression in Lebanon…..”

“Moving to a Traditional Balance of Power Strategy”
“Israel can shape its strategic environment, in cooperation with Turkey and Jordan, by weakening, containing, and even rolling back Syria. This effort can focus on removing Saddam Hussein from power in Iraq — an important Israeli strategic objective in its own right …..”

Here is another link about “A Clean Break….”
    http://www.truthout.org/ cgi-bin/ artman/ exec/ view.cgi/ 63/ 21831

What a coincidence….Israel wanted Saddam out of the picture….Mission Accomplished.

does anybody have an idea, WHY bush is doing this?
    Comment by Stefan — February 11, 2007 @ 9:53 am

Stefan - maybe we should ask these people why Bush does what he does…..

Perhaps Lt. Col. Karen Kwiatkowski, a former Pentagon insider, can give us some insight as to just who was running the show with Feith in the Pentagon during this period:

    http://www.peacehost.net/EPI-Calc/OpenDoor.htm
“…In early winter, an incident occurred that was seared into my memory. A co-worker and I were suddenly directed to go down to the Mall entrance to pick up some Israeli generals. Post-9/11 rules required one escort for every three visitors, and there were six or seven of them waiting. The Navy lieutenant commander and I hustled down. Before we could apologize for the delay, the leader of the pack surged ahead, his colleagues in close formation, leaving us to double-time behind the group as they sped to Undersecretary Feith’s office on the fourth floor. Two thoughts crossed our minds: are we following close enough to get credit for escorting them, and do they really know where they are going? We did get credit, and they did know. Once in Feith’s waiting room, the leader continued at speed to Feith’s closed door. An alert secretary saw this coming and had leapt from her desk to block the door. “Mr. Feith has a visitor. It will only be a few more minutes.” The leader craned his neck to look around the secretary’s head as he demanded, “Who is in there with him?”

This minor crisis of curiosity past, I noticed the security sign-in roster. Our habit, up until a few weeks before this incident, was not to sign in senior visitors like ambassadors. But about once a year, the security inspectors send out a warning letter that they were coming to inspect records. As a result, sign-in rosters were laid out, visible and used. I knew this because in the previous two weeks I watched this explanation being awkwardly presented to several North African ambassadors as they signed in for the first time and wondered why and why now. Given all this and seeing the sign-in roster, I asked the secretary, “Do you want these guys to sign in?” She raised her hands, both palms toward me, and waved frantically as she shook her head. “No, no, no, it is not necessary, not at all.” Her body language told me I had committed a faux pas for even asking the question. …”

Wow - now we all know how that feels sometimes, don’t we?!
Since when it is a crime, or politically incorrect to ask questions about what serves the best interests of the USA, when we are discussing the views and actions of people we are paying to serve the US Government?

Why are Israeli generals stomping all around OUR US Pentagon,
    like THEY own the place?

George W. Bush is very clearly a sociopath. I mean come on - the man tortured small animals for fun. Apparently when you do that when you’re young you grow to become either a serial killer or a Republican president.

  55. Fed Up Says:

So, how many of you who have commented here have written your representative and senators to complain about Bush and a posssible attack on Iraq?
It’s all great that you’re slapping each other on the back and telling everyone how wrong Bush is.
    Do something MORE about it!
    Comment by Dogjudge — February 11, 2007 @ 11:30 am

I agree Dogjudge….but I am getting this sinking feeling that writing letters to “our” representatives isn’t going to achieve anything.
November The People spoke….it won’t be long before we realize if anyone listened or not.
With very few exceptions, they all seem bought by the forces that financed their campaigns.

With very few exceptions, they seem unwilling - almost afraid to act on the Will of the People. Remember how McCain used to be a maverick independent that could even inspire people on both the right and left? Then something very odd happened all of a sudden - almost in a “body-snatchers-esque” kind of way….and the next thing we see, is him bowing to kiss Bush’s hand.

I was about to send Clinton (my senator) a long letter, until last week she tipped her traitorous hand promising payback to her AIPAC audience/paymasters. She has been bought and sold out, and not worth wasting a stamp on at this point.
What we are witnessing now is that we no longer have a functioning representative government. We have a nation that is being run by a criminal enterprise that has filled the vacumm left by a dysfunctional government. We are no longer living in a Democracy, and most of us just haven’t realized it yet.

I’m afraid that the only thing that might change the course here, is the kind of action that created our great Democracy in the first place. But I can’t even get my own family to turn off the TeeVee long enough to hear any of this.
Conyers, Waxman, Feingold, Webb - if these brave Patriots cannot get traction - I am afraid we are doomed unless we take matters into our own hands. But I think we can see how those in power have already taken the steps necessary to eliminate any possible response to their tyranny.

Does anyone else find it odd (= appallingly contrived = PR) that this evidence is (1) not being presented to the Senate and House of R, and (2) that it is presented to reporters only on “condition” of anonymity?
I quote from the Reuters report this morning, the last sentence of the report:

Officials do not want to be accused of either overstating the case against Iran or presenting information that appears poorly sourced.

I guess if the “official” is anonymous, he/she can’t be accused of anything!

What the meaning of a third carrier group steaming off to the ME would suggest to Chris Nelson of “the Nelson Report” (via Steve Clemons’ “Washington Note” back on Jan 17, ‘07):

Here’s the relevant quote followed by the link to Clemons’ post:

“This deployment is carefully calibrated. It could have been larger. Increasing to two carrier strike groups in the AOR serves as a firm signal and deterrent, reminding everyone US has bench strength; the US also still can “reach out and touch someone.”

Along with announced deployments of two UK minesweepers and the Patriot battery, it is also an actual contingency force that has significant defensive and offensive capability (e.g. ., could initiate heavy 24 hour air ops if necessary).

OK. . .what to watch for if the US really thinks bad things are about to happen? (my emphasis)

On the other hand, increasing to three carrier strike groups would be noticeably more ‘robust’, belligerent and suggestive of intending or anticipating attack. The difference between two and three strike groups is huge. Two =’s strong and capable, but existing offensive intent is less probable; three =’s ‘we don’t care about provocation, we’re preparing to fight in this new dimension’.

(An indicator would be to watch for announcements about Nimitz strike group; Nimitz reportedly has completed the routine pre-deployment work-up and is in San Diego.)”

At the embassy, the diplomat’s colleagues were furious. “This was a group directly under American supervision,” said one distraught Iranian official, who was not authorized to speak on the record. Abdul Karim Inizi, a former Iraqi Security minister close to the Iranians, pointed the finger at an Iraqi black-ops unit based out at the Baghdad airport, who answer to American Special Forces officers. “It’s plausible,” says a senior Coalition adviser who is also not authorized to speak on the record. The unit does exist—and does specialize in snatch operations.

This is a group called “Scorpions” that were set up by the CIA prior to the invasion of Iraq. Read “Fiasco,” to get more background on how and why they were set up. And as I’ve said before, I also believe they were involved in the operation where the four U.S. soldiers were kidnapped and then killed. In addition, does it make sense to any of you that serial numbers would be on the war materials that the government of Iran is supposedly providing to the rebelling Shites in Iraq?

Andrews Air Force base is about 12 miles from DC - and is there to protect our Capital…..but couldn’t get a fighter jet up in the sky on 911 - for 90 minutes - when they routinely intercept lost or suspect flights up to 100+ times a year within an average of 12 minutes?
Why was Cheney controlling NORAD on 911?
Why did Mineta report that Cheney yelled at his subordidant that the “order still stood” while they all wait and watched the plane approach and hit the Pentagon?

  117. stonehinge Says:

BNF, a few weeks ago, I might have replied exactly as you did with the neo/zio-Con rationale for attacking Iran. But at this point in time, there are some really puzzling dimensions to this problem.

For example, we are still missing some crucially important pieces of this puzzle — viz, the Russian and Chinese cards have yet to be played. Since the US economy is entirely dependent on Chinese subsidies, and since Iran is a key supplier in the Chinese energy picture, this buildup is tantamount to economic suicide.

Furthermore, it has just come to my attention that the Patriot missile system is an abject failure, despite all the statements to the contrary. In 2003, it was reported that the Patriot kill rate is no better than 10%, a far cry from the bogus reports supplied during the Bush41 regime. Thus, Bush43’s strategy to ship Patriot systems all over the Mideast is just mindless bravado — and our allies know it!!!

And, as I have already reported here and elsewhere, the whole business about bunker-buster technology, nuclear or otherwise, is utterly fraudulent. We simply cannot do what we say we will do to destroy the underground nuclear research sites.

And, given that the Iranians have the Russian hyper-sonic Onyx system in-place, with missiles that can easily crack one of our carriers in-half using kinetic energy alone, the setup in the Gulf makes no sense at all. The potential for taking massive losses to the US fleet is simply too great.

    So —-

Standing at the brink, looking over the edge, not one bit of this makes any sense. And given that, I’m gonna take a nap and see if anything else floats to the top which might further define the contours of this surrealistic swamp.

    #122 because americans can’t read farsi ?

  121. freeman Says:

HE ,the letters must refer to god

  122. stonehinge Says:

Good point, Roger!!! And you gotta wonder, what is going on with all these anonymous sources. This is all such a pitifully transparent charade!!! You would think that Cheney’s team would have gotten a little slicker by now. So much hubris with these guys…

  123. Fed Up Says:

Living in IRAN is really like a permanent torture. Let it to be finished! and let the president to do his JOB.

Sorry to hear things aren’t going so well for you farzad.
Maybe you need to get out a bit more and see more of your Nation….like maybe Tehran.

Here - since you have a computer and are online - check out this video that shows a side of Tehran - maybe you haven’t seen?

    http://www.lucasgray.com/video/peacetrain.html

Hell - even the tens of thousands of jewish folks who live in Iran have decided to refuse Israel’s offers to be relocated to Israel. I wonder why that is? Maybe they feel safer living in Iran, than they would in Israel? Funny how we never hear about suicide bombers killing jewish people in Iran??

  124. unbelievable Says:

But as a Christian, I can tell you that the recognition of the difference between the words and teachings of Christ and what the “Christian Right” have been trying to sell is not simply a subjective judgement.
    Comment by impeachcheneythenbush — February 11, 2007 @ 1:29 pm

Christianity, by nature, is subjective (truth is always subjective to observers of it)… hence there aren’t just Christians but Catholics, Methodists, Baptists, Sounthern Baptists, Non-Demoninationals, Unitarians, Lutherans, Jews for Jesus, and so on.

Anything that is subject to interpretation is subjective.

If you guys don’t like what the fundy neocons are doing in your name, then kick them out - or have your own “real Christian” Reformation.

  125. Adam Stanhope Says:

Unfortunately, the people who “voted for [Bush] twice” love the idea of us attacking Iran!

“Those godless Iranian bastards deserve it!”

Please, please, please let there be someone sane in Bush’s circle of advisors who can stop this madman.

  126. Bozzy Says:

The propaganda is a success. Americans have been tricked into accepting that their blood and treasure will be used to achieve Israeli strategic objectives. We always hear about the Iran hostage crisis and how evil Iran is because of it, but whens the last time your heard about the cold blooded slaughter that was the USS Liberty.

  127. Arlington Acid Says:

Well, if you and I (and the Congressional Dems who we elected to stop this psychotic killing spree) don’t force the warclowns to back up and go home, we’ll end up nuking Iran. When we nuke Iran, we’ll deserve the nightmare that will end up on our doorstep. The world isn’t going to stand by and allow the US to rampage around the planet, stealing the world’s oil for itself. They will pull the rug out from under the dollar and overnight, we’ll have a full-scale civil war on our hands (with 90% unemployed and starving), which will require the troops that will be up to their necks in Iraq and Iran. The numb-skulls who brought us the Iraq debacle haven’t even started to show how ill-conceived their actions can be, just wait until they ramp it up and bring Iran into the mix. Perle was right, children of the future *will* sing songs about the neo-cons, but what he doesn’t know is that they’ll be about them “swinging from a lamp-post with his eyes popping out” and that sort of thing. God-damned monsters, the lot of ‘em!

  128. STRIKE NOW! Says:

No, not a military strike, a GENERAL STRIKE, across the country! Prostests are just TALK. GENERAL STRIKES are ACTION! SHUT THIS COUNTRY DOWN FROM THE INSIDE OUT until we DRIVE THE NEOCONS OUT once and for all. NO ONE BUYS OR SELLS ANYTHING. HIT THOSE INFLUENCING THIS INSANITY, THE CORPORATIONS, WHERE IT HURTS.

  129. CoffinsDrapedWithFlags Says:

    Fed Up,

    Thanks for the film link.

  130. CoffinsDrapedWithFlags Says:

farzad - it is an odd statement to request that another nation bomb your country. I have a very close friend from Iran and she weeps at the thought of bombing Iran. She tells me Iran is beautiful and so are it’s people.

I pray with every breath that the US does not bomb your nation. Just look at what happened in Iraq… it too was once a beautiful nation. Now all its history has gone up in smoke.

  131. catmando Says:

    Reply to Stefan, post #7;

    The Rethugs are invading Iran to accomplish two objectives;

    1) Protect Israel from non-existent Iranian nukes and

    2) Try to reduce Iran’s meddling in Iraq(no evidence for this yet but I wouldn’t be surprised)

  132. Kurt Says:

    IMPEACH!

  133. Marie Says:

    #122
It has the letters “HE” printed on it. They claimed that it was made
    in 2006.
Why isn’t the labeling in Farsi?

    Halliburton Enterprises?

  134. Rick Ward Says:

Do we still believe that the bush admin. did not have a hand in 9/11 to start all this.??

  135. Just thinking Says:

It seems to me that theres is far more going on here then what we are being told.
It’s funny that in the wake of Iran announcing it’s willingness to attack our interest if we attack them. And China and Russia accusing us of wanting take over the world.
It’s like it’s one plan between all of them to start a world war. And theres nothing any of us can do to stop it. They want to cut the worlds population by 80% by one account that I read.
Does anyone know if fluoride can be combined with another compound that could cause instant death? It has been put into our water supply for years now. And our bodies are full of it.
No I don’t think it’s gonna be a nuclear war, a war that well take most of us out quickly and leave the infrastructure intact.
This way they wont have to rebuild and wait out a nuclear winter.
    Just a thought.

  136. Eargy Earp Says:

The facial expressions on the picture really tells it all.

Bush is still a spoiled brat who gets mad, is vengeant, is too stubborn, stupid, and is in a role too powerful to be discipined. We see the latest attempt at correction fails because (”I am the decision maker.”) No need to use reason; it has not effect.

Gilligan (the other guy) never would have risen to power in Iran without Bush.

Like Bush, he does not represent his people: only hardline interests.

  137. nikolai Says:

Bush is just the dummy on Cheney’s lap.

  138. Lee Says:

#3 - Factcheck - Enterprise returned to Norfolk in November. Stennis and Ike are in the area. Reagan went to Pacific to cover for Kittyhawk which is down for maintenance.

  139. theswan Says:

After george makes the big death, we will all know we have a hitler on our hands.

  140. Dan Says:

This is now truly beyond belief. Will the real anti-war movement please stand up now?

  141. Gollum Says:

The righties have been dying for years to have the chance to use nukes. They’ll do it and just up the ante for everyone else in the arms race, leading to destabilization, not to mention radiation spread through the region. We gave Saddam truckloads of support
