Bush impersonates his Iran critics.

Bush impersonates his Iran critics.»

During an interview with C-SPAN today, President Bush impersonated the concerns of his Iran critics. “I guess my reaction to all the noise about, you know, ‘He wants to go to war’ is, first of all, I don’t understand the tactics, and I guess I would say it’s political,” he said. Watch it:

Any other president lose two wars consecutively?

    What smug jerk.

You DO want to go to war, liar, what’s NOT to understand?

How would an impersonation of Bush by Pelosi or Obama be handled by the right wingnuttery? They’d be demanding an apology. For this foolish little tantrum, bush will be hailed by those same foolish hypocrites.

I understand why the name of the job ’stewardess’ was changed to ‘flight attendant’… But why was the term ’sociopath’ changed to ‘anti-social personality disorder’? It’s not like a name change can give it a more favorable ring…

The “hat trick” of Colossal Policy Failures that Dubbie’s betting will get him in the history books.

I remember him saying the exact same sh*t 6 weeks before we invaded Iraq. “If the lie works, don’t fix it”, is that how the old saying goes?

I don’t know the answer to that question my vegetable-eating freind with cats.

I think the ending of “path” is directly demeaning to the individual, personalizing it. If you call it a disorder, it separates the person from the disorder. Its political correctness.

It will be easy for them to understand why this country was severely screwed in the 1st decade of the new millenium. Perhaps a future Congress will honor Bush by passing a law that makes children of former Presidents unable to run for the Office.

  35. carollt Says:

George Bush is an admitted liar. And now he is lying again.

Of course he wants to invade Iran. That is why the majority of people in this country are quite concerned and rather alarmed.

George Bush has spent the last six years doing everything he said he would not do. Our trust is gone and rightfully so.

  36. OxyCon Says:

We should all take it easy on Bush. Of course he dosen’t want to invade Iran. He didn’t want to invade Iraq either. That’s why he wanted to paint American planes to look like U.N. planes and fly them over Iraq hoping Saddam would shoot at them.

  37. tom baker Says:

The truth is, Dubbie would never “attack” Iran. What would happen is that some Ollie North types would use a bunch of cash from Afghan opium profits to arm a splinter faction to attack US interests, giving the appearance that Iran was attacking us, at which point Dubbie would have “no choice” but to “respond” to Iran’s “naked aggression”. Then all the wingnuts would believe him, and believe we were doing the “right thing”.

    Ain’t that right, wingnuts??

  38. Outraged in Louisville Says:

I saw the C-SPAN interview with Bush and was horrified that he chuckled, laughed, shuck & jived the answers. What an embarassment. What a disgrace for the families who have lost a loved one in Iraq to watch this doofus who has no clue. Shameful.

  39. tarazan Says:

Two wars in Bush’s first three years in office is sufficient to indicate that the third is coming.

Looking at the Neocons doctrine, and what is happening in the last three months of posturing between US and Iran, it is believable that we are on the same course to start the third war…..

Remember that Iran was classified as one of the ‘axis of evil’….even before Ahmadinajad of Iran was elected as head of state in Iran. Iran is considered a prime target for the Neocons.

Whether Bush can sell this one this time or not…remains to be seen. That also depends on how much the US Congress is willing to demonstrate its strength in opposing the President.

What we have here, at least by psychiatric standards is clearly a “pathologically dramatic response” as if he’s making a joke about someone criticizing his tie. This is criticism about killing human beings and he’s dramatizing it as though it’s some third-rate act in a play??

God people….we’ve been desensitized and dumbed down.

  69. veritas Says:

#62 Just realize that “people did not vote for this guy” as evidenced by the massive flip-flopping of voting machine hardware, particularly in the swing state of Ohio. People are now coming forward as whistleblowers and actually admitting that they tampered with the voting machines. The majority of americans did not vote this fool into office the first time - in that case, it was Florida which “stole” him the election. In fact, Al Gore won the popular vote and we all went to sleep that night (before the voting machine gremlins went to work putting the “fix” in and altering exit polls to coincide with their rigged results)….so he wasn’t actually legally elected by the people even then. Factor in Katherine Harris, his cohort who stopped the recount and you’ve got a perfect prescription for a stolen election in 2000 - factor in her counterpart (who has resigned and is being currently investigated) Kenneth Blackwell - Ohio Sup. of Elections & Exec Dir. of Bush/Cheney ‘04 and you can connect the dots. Whistleblowers on Katherine Harris’s culpability in the 2000 election in Florida as well as the Ohio stolen election are coming out of the woodwork and making statements about how it all happened….Connect the dots….it goes back that far…..without Bush (puppet?) in office, would 911 have occurred? Without 911 would we have the War in Iraq?? Without the War in Iraq would we have the infamous Patriot Act which has effectively stripped us of our constitutional rights?? It all comes neatly together if one takes the time necessary to do the legwork.

Congress Wants To Monitor All E-Mails, IMs, Etc.

A bill introduced last week by Representative Lamar Smith (R-TX) is beginning to raise eyebrows.

[It] would require ISPs to record all users’ surfing activity, IM conversations and email traffic indefinitely.

The bill, dubbed the Safety Act by sponsor Lamar Smith, a republican congressman from Texas, would impose fines and a prison term of one year on ISPs which failed to keep full records.

This is a terrifying development and it must be stopped before it gains any significant momentum.

Under the guise of reducing child pornography, the SAFETY (Stopping Adults Facilitating the Exploitation of Today’s Youth Act) Act is currently the gravest threat to digital privacy rights on the Internet. Given the increasing tendency of people, especially young people, to use the Internet as a primary means of communications, this measure would effect nearly all Americans in ways we are only beginning to understand. Also, given the fact that the Act requires all Internet Service Providers to record the web surfing activity of all Internet users, this amounts to the warrantless wiretapping of the entire Internet.

  93. wake-n-bake Says:

[It] would require ISPs to record all users’ surfing activity, IM conversations and email traffic indefinitely.

To a person with an eye condition - Bush questions why the person is wearing shades.

To an Iraq vet with an amputated arm: “Shake hands?”

Dogmatism is not confined to religion . Most peoples religion is pure dogma ,but this doesn’t entirely invalidate religion . Hell most peoples entire world view is adopted second hand through culture . Only a few thinkers , shamans and artists ever seem to deal with reality first hand which generally makes them heretics .
Being a liberal can be as dogmatic as any other adopted philosophy . Without personal revelation it’s no more than parrot speak .Good art makes you question fundamentals , the answers must come from within .Which is why nin a religion like Christianity one must stand in a personal relationship with God ( or reality ).
the spiritual life rests on personal revelation not in belief in the easter bunny .

Gen. Pace has announced there is no proof that Iran is supplying Iraq with weapons -

Updated: 1 hour, 18 minutes ago
JAKARTA, Indonesia - A top U.S. general said Tuesday there was no evidence the Iranian government was supplying Iraqi insurgents with highly lethal roadside bombs, apparently contradicting claims by other U.S. military and administration officials.

His remarks might raise questions on the credibility of the claims of high-level Iranian involvement, especially following the faulty U.S. intelligence that was used to justify the invasion of Iraq in 2003.

Three senior military officials in Baghdad said Sunday that the highest levels of Iranian government were responsible for arming Shiite militants in Iraq with the bombs, blamed for the deaths of more than 170 U.S. troops

Asked Monday directly if the White House was confident that the weaponry is coming on the approval of the Iranian government, spokesman Tony ‘Snow Job ‘ Snow said, “Yes.”

guess again bush isn’t listening to intell. say goodbye to Pace I bet.
