FBI loses 3-4 laptops each month.
New report by the Justice Department’s Inspector General finds, “Between three and four FBI laptop computers are lost or stolen each month on average and the agency is unable to say in many instances whether information on the machines is sensitive or classified.”

Los Alamos Labs in New Mexico has had a number of incidents in the past several years where supposed top secret information was stolen. The labs and surrounding area was in a lock-down for a number of days and people were called in to be questioned and interrogated and accused. As it later turned out, the highly technical and highly-classified information never existed in the first place. It makes one wonder, doesn’t it?

If you assign an FBI agent a little boy to carry his laptop then the FBI agent will keep track of the little boy and the little boy will keep track of the laptop.
