More likely Cheney told them he won’t testify after hearing how it’s going, and they are working around that.

I don’t understand the anger at Cheney. He was listed as a DEFENSE WITNESS! The defense decided not to call Him, not Fitz. Cheney had no call in the matter.

Torticola Cheney won’t testify because Libby’s shysters are afraid Cheney might get grilled by the prosecutor and incriminate himself, thereby setting into motion a chain of events that would make Watergate look like a Flea Circus. What a show that would be!

There is still a possibility that Scooter cuts a deal for some testimony in another trial. If it happens, I would expect it to come just before the case goes to the jury.

Also, there is still a civil case. The Wilsons have a lot of interesting and potentially valuable information that may be used as evidence in a civil trial.

And, even a sitting President or Vice President can be compelled to testify in a civil trial.
