#171....For the record, it has now been five days since Barfly initially made his unsubstantiated claim and five days since Dale asked for any evidence to back up claim regarding Congress.

Similarly it has been several days since I showed Barfly lied when he made his claim that the entire U.N. saw only a redacted version of the Iraq weapons dossier (I also showed that Barfly lied (or simply mixed up his chronology) when he falsely implied that Iraq released its weapons dossier before Congress voted on the AUMF, when, in fact, Iraq did not release its dossier until two months after Iraq released the dossier.

And Barfly continues to hide.

Wait a minute...

Lauren's a "plant," right? A liberal pretending to be conservative, right? I mean, no self-respecting republican would actually post something meant to be taken seriously online in which "democrat" and "believes" are spelled incorrectly, right?

Right?

Want to know how much the base of today's Republican party respects Abraham Lincoln? Today is Presidents Day holiday in Alabama----but for presidents Washington and Thomas Jefferson (born April 13) NOT Lincoln. January 15 was MLK/Robert E. Lee Day and June 4th will be a holiday for Jefferson Davis' birthday. When I tell you the backbone of the Republican party hates Lincoln in 2007, I ain't kidding.

What's important is that when the US realized (remember, they bugged their phones) that the vote in the Security Council would be 3 for the US's invasion and 12 opposed---the US withdrew the proposal and invaded anyway---totally illegal under every law signed by the US, making them laws of the US.

By the way, here is yet another falsehood from Barfly:

"When the Bush administration turned the document over to the UN, ten thousand pages of information had been redacted. "

That is, of course, demonstrably false. The five permament members of the United Nations Security Council (Note to Barfly: That's the U.S., Russia, France, China, and U.K.) received complete, non-redacted copies of the full dossier.

The non-permanent council members received a redacted version of the Iraqi document on Tuesday from the U.N. Monitoring, Verification and Inspection Commission and the International Atomic Energy Agency.

This decision by the UN caused some controvery among some of the non-permanent members, especially Syria.

Okay, Barfly, now we have shown you lied when you said "the UN" received only a redacted version of the report. We have also seen that you confused (to put it mildly) the chronology of events, implying the dossier was released prior to Congress' approval of the AUMF, when, in fact, the dossier was released two month after the vote.

Finally, since you have refused (in a somewhat cowardly way) to respond to Dale's request that you provide some evidence or citation to substantiate your allegation that Congress never saw the complete 12,000 page dossier, we can only assume you lied aout that as well.

What's important is that Iraq's 12,000 page dossier was TRUE. Everything the Bush administration said about WMD or any other reason for the urgency of invasion was a known lie well before they said it.

Poor Barfly....Your ignorance and propensity to simply make things up has left you discredited and humiliated again.

I can tell you are embarassed that I again caught you in an untruth.
How embarassing for you to claim that Iraq released its 12,000 page dossier before Congress voted on the AUMF (That' means "Authority to Use Military Force," Barfly) when in fact Iraq released the dossier two months AFTER Congress voted to grant the president the authority to use force.

By the way, Barfly, can't help but notice that you have failed to answer Dale's request that you back up your unsubstantiated allegation....Heh! I love how you run away when your assertions are disproved, refuse to provide any evidence, and then sneak back into the thread at 2:00 in the morning so that you don't have to face the music and the fact you were proven wrong....again.

You are a very amusing little fella!

When Lincoln took office, the thirteen most conservative states seceeded from the Union because of their hatred of Lincoln and their fears that they might not own people anymore and might have to pay people wages for their backbreaking work.

The absolute base of the Republican party today are these same thirteen states who hate Lincoln in 2007. Yet, in contradicton, they mention Lincoln as proof of how great the Republican Party is and will use even bogus quotes to do this.

Conservatives today are still in favor of owning people and not paying them wages for backbreaking work.

When Lincoln was alive, people like our good Rep. would have wanted nothing to do with him.

Comment by KYJurisDoctor #151

Which proves how spectacularly STUPID they (Repulsivescum) are...

...since Lincoln was just as racist (if not more) as any Repulsivescum conned'self-servative is today (or during his day)...

Which proves how spectacularly STUPID they (Repulsivescum) are…

…since Lincoln was just as racist (if not more) as any Repulsivescum conned’self-servative is today (or during his day)…

Don Young haas made a living by being stupid and saying stupid things. He's the "bridge to nowhere guy" as well. I'm sure he doesn't know what it means to retract a quote.

Lauren

How would you deomcrats know what is the truth and what isnt?

by looking it up

truth (trūth) pronunciation
n., pl. truths (trūTHz, trūths).

   1. Conformity to fact or actuality.
   2. A statement proven to be or accepted as true.
   3. Sincerity; integrity.
   4. Fidelity to an original or standard.
   5. 1. Reality; actuality.
         2. often Truth That which is considered to be
the supreme reality and to have the ultimate
         meaning and value of existence.

Although I'm guessing you ment to type truthiness.
