What about Cheney’s trip was ‘unreportable’?

From today’s pool report from Vice President Cheney’s trip to Japan: “This was largely a repeat of the speech delivered the day before in Tokyo. However, the vice president made something clear this day that had been unanswered the day before — when he had departed from a prepared text in Tokyo that had read Americans “do not” accept a policy of retreat and instead said that Americans “will not” accept a policy of retreat. Your pool’s queries about the meaning of this departure in tenses went unanswered last night in what started as a background briefing with an administration official and lapsed into something else that is, well, unreportable.”

    Dickster doesn’t know tense?
Every time I see him, he looks as if he’s about to explode!
He is the very definition of tense! Notice they never show his custom made shoes that fit his hooves quite nicely?

Hey, Spudge….let’s see if we can trick rachel into including some 9/11 Truth information in her posts. That’ll get her deleted lickety-split! ^_^

  12. RUCerious says:

I’ve always found it fascinating that DickCheneytheDevil travels in his limo with a fallout resistant astronaut suit. I wonder where his tail fits into that?

  13. GodfryDaniel says:

Since when does Cheney speak for Americans? Thankfully the Japanese aren’t that stupid.

  14. RUCerious says:

Rachel obviously missed her damn meds today.

  17. Raven says:

In all honesty, I don’t get it either, katy, I’m just playing along pretending I do……

  18. ForTruth says:

Cheney changed one work in his speech. I think that’s what the thread is about.

What the eff is going on here! I decide to post once and it sucks.

  20. Tobey Tall says:

one thing that should be looked at seriously by TP is limiting the text area to a 1000 characters to stop the long winded threads that are aimed at putting serious and genuine comments far to the top of the page ( Govermant trolls) as some visitors start at the bottom and only read a few, before making a comment

Most other comment sites do this . The guardian and Aljazeera…….

  21. Tobey Tall says:

Im sure TP is aware of Javascript to enable limiting treads to a 1000 characters

  22. SP Biloxi says:

The all and powerful co-President Dickster has spoken! And all of sudden Dick Cheney is now the mouthpiece for the American people in Japan. Certainly Japan are not stupid.

  23. Wayne says:

rachel, you are a sick, demented person.
You lie and say you will stop doing this kind crap, then you start doing it again.

You cannot even be honest enough to post under just one name.
You have no honor and no morals.
If you act this way in real life, that is probably why you have no friends and everyone hates your guts.

  24. Shlomo says:

Why wouldn’t the Japanese love Dick Cheney? Didn’t they build him?

  25. wake-n-bake says:

    Tobey,
I’ve made the character limit suggestion MANY TIMES in direct email with TP to no avail.

    Sounds like my “internment” here.

That was all I ever wanted here Wayne, likeminded friends.
And what have I gotten in return?

    Shit on big time.

    Sorry you cannot see this.

  27. katy says:

    and,
how could this guy make such comments – insinuating that pelosi and murtha and americans are treasonous – ON FOREIGN SOIL !!!
    (snark) (h.t. randi)

You never wanted friends SANTO. You have always posted garbage on these threads. For years you have put others down, called them traitors and have stated that we are working with the terrorists. For years you have spammed the threads and now you say you want friends.

You make friends by debating and talking, something you seem incapable of.

    Sorry, you cannot see this.

People have tried to reach out to you and you shit on them every time and I am sure you are not like this in real life.

    – rachel

You did this to yourself, because of what you have been doing.
You can’t blame anyone else for your own actions.
You are the one posting objectionable posts in every thread and multiple posts purposly trying to disrupt the threads.

You cannot blame this on anyone but yourself.

He just demonstrated to them in person that he’s delusional. He thanked them for their support for the war in Iraq. They’ve been outta there for more than a year now.

  33. Bluedog49 says:

Wayne, I think we’re dealing with mental illness here. Don’t waste your time. I’m serious. There’s no way to stop a deranged person from ruining everyone’s fun here. Just have to ignore it and hope TP deletes the long, rambling cut and pastes.

  34. ForTruth says:

What about Cheney’s trip was ‘unreportable’?

The part where he was drunk and shot someone in the face.

  35. katy says:

    Lieberman Always Plotting Against Us

It will take more than a non-dead Tim Johnson to keep the Senate out of Cheney’s hands. Vinegar Joe Lieberman now says he’s going to switch parties — or switch from caucusing with Dems to caucusing with the New GOP Senate Majority — because he needs that Iraq War to go on forever. Lieberman told Politico.com it’s so important to keep killing U.S. troops and Iraqis that he’s forced to consider “becoming” a Bush loyalist Republican.

Thanks, Connecticut! Great work in that November election.

    imagine that…

Probably right, but trying a bit of diplomacy never hurts, and sometimes works.

    Something I wish Bushco understood.

  37. Halle Burton says:

James Guckert (aka Jeff Gannon) was spotted at the recent slag-the-blogs fest at the National Press Club; and, he probably showed up later at the Cheney bunker, suitcase in his hands …I’m just saying…

  38. Raven says:

Chainee was on an a US Navy aircraft carrier, offshore of Tokyo when he made his utterance.
    How courageous.

  39. margaret says:

The AIE article ends with this line:

“Now is not the time to talk. If Washington and Europe truly believe in the primacy of multilateralism and diplomacy, now is the time to ratchet up the pressure.”

Is it just me or did your brain just do a pretzel? Are they saying that their idea of diplomacy is to be even more threatening to Iran? Oh, and perhaps their idea of ‘multilateralism’ is recruiting a bunch of other countries to help you threaten them? I mean damn, I don’t want Iran to have a nuclear bomb either but, then again, I wish no-one had freaking nuclear bombs!

But wishing won’t take that troubling reality away unfortunately. Do any of those ships lurking in the Persian Gulf have nuclear weapons on them? Sure am glad there’s not a bunch of ships pointing weapons at us over in the Long Island Sound right about now!

  40. margaret says:

Ooops – sorry, that link was meant for another thread. Weird, I could’ve sworn I was on another thread just then. Oh well, I wonder where Cheney is off to now?

Is that true that he was on an aircraft carrier today? The Navy certainly seems to be back in the picture don’t they?

Oh, I see that Cheney is in Australia for three days. Wow, they must have a lot to talk about! Vellly interestink…

  44. Raven says:

Yes, and 70% of Australians are unhappy about the war. Significant protests, arrests…
After Australia he goes to Tasmania on a little fishing jaunt………….

  45. rachel kinnardi says:

What about Cheney’s trip was ‘unreportable’?

Ummm…The male escort service that unexpectedly showed up early and was asking for a “Mr. CannonBalls Cheney?”

They took a wrong turn at 5th and Lombardi and showed up early despite the fact.

    LOL

  46. Jay Randal says:

AmericaBlog limits the length of posts, so TP should do the same. If the post is too long, then it should get blocked from being posted by the filter.

  47. Raymond Funamoto says:

Have you all noticed why Torticola Cheney and CHIMPya Bush are ALWAYS so HEAVILY GUARDED? Despite the Secret Service’s tradition of meticulous security, THIS IS RIDICULOUS! But not when you realize that these two are the most DETESTED and HATED president and v.p. in American History or WORLD HISTORY, for that matter, and they are BOTH DEATHLY AFRAID OF RETRIBUTION, HUMAN OR DIVINE, WITH GOOD REASON!!!!! Ah, the SADNESS of the UNLOVED, to WONDER WHY THEY ARE REGARDED AS “the fly in the ointment,” “the turd in the punchbowl,” “the phosphoric acid in the baptismal font,” “the candiru fish in the vaseline,” “the Spanish Fly in the Oreos(tm)”, AD NAUSEUM!
