Osama bin Laden and al Qaeda are in Pakistan and Bush hasn’t gone after them. Bush did not surround them at Tora Bora. We left him a direct exit to Pakistan. There is a difference between defeating the terrorists and increasing the number of the terrorists. What we have done in Iraq is greatly increase the number of terrorists. It’s not just what I say, it’s what the 16 intelligence agencies of the US and every study in the world says.

Vietnam vets, because of the CAVC have a presumption of having been exposed to Agent Orange. Last year, “blue water”nam vets were also included in this presumption of having been exposed after an appeals fight, which was good news.

In an August 16, 2006 decision, the United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims (CAVC) held that Vietnam veterans who served in the waters off Vietnam (these class of veterans are known as “Blue Water” Navy veterans) are entitled to disability benefits for diseases related to exposure to Agent Orange.

The biggest problem for vets filing claims since Bushco took over is that the VA seems to be automatically denying claims, like a f*cking corrupt insurance company, you have to fight it to get past the first denial =(

If you get denied for an agent orange related claim, fight it all the way. The law is on your side.

Now Gulf War vets and the “syndrome” claims have not fared as well though, yet. But there is new evidence that the Syndrome may have possibly been caused by sarin gass exposure.

It looks like rachel found a lot of stuff for you. I emailed the Chief Administrative Officer of the Public Health Administration at the Michigan Department of Public Health, asking for any information she might have, or asking for direction to the proper department.
