I don’t believe that one can claim that the Earth has warmed up to any degree beyond the Earth’s natural temperature shifts. The Sun’s solar flare activity is what makes the Earth warm and cool throughout 1,000-2,000 year cycles. We are experiencing an active Sun in the last 50 years and that could explain virtually all of the reason the Earth is warming up.

It is amusing that you rarely see left-leaning, “Goricals,” celebrating over Global Warming and asking people to help contribute to Greenhouse Gasses. Yet, we have had exceptionally cold temperatures this Winter here in America’s East Coast and elsewhere.

And that statement is absolutely right. The IPCC even reversed itself in this same “90 percent certain” report, downgrading the amount of anthropogenic global warming by 25 percent from previous estimates. And no one thinks that number won’t continue to be adjusted as more data comes in, and many scientists have many questions about that number, which is why Cheney was absolutely right to say that there is no consensus on it. Some scientists think it is way too low, some way too high. There *is no consensus* about the *extent* to which global warming is caused by man.

Jeez, people, learn to read.

This will result in most soil in the United States losing up to 60% of moisture.

Even where scientists do agree that man causes climate change, they can’t agree on the extent or the ramifications.
