Limbaugh Declares Victory: I’m Responsible For Obama ‘Getting Blacker’
On Feb. 13, Rush Limbaugh derided Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL) — who is biracial — for saying, “If you look African-American in this society, you’re treated as an African-American.” Limbaugh claimed that this statement meant Obama didn’t want to be black and should “renounce it”: “If it’s not something you want to be, if you didn’t decide it, renounce it, become white!”
Yesterday on his radio show, Limbaugh claimed that Obama has become more popular among African-Americans in recent polls because “he’s getting blacker.” He added, “Well, I might have helped because I pointed out he was black, since he hasn’t renounced it. He’s obviously being perceived here as becoming more black or blacker, black enough for African-Americans to get on board. Something has happened here, and, look it, when you have the Drive-By Media saying he’s not black enough and you have me saying, ‘But he is black,’ who do you think might be influencing the shift to Obama away from Hillary?”
As Too Sense notes, “That’s right Rush, the only reason black people ever vote for candidates is because they’re black. White people, like Rush, never consider race a factor in politics or public life.
Clinton, of New York, continues to lead Obama and other rivals in the Democratic contest, according to the latest Washington Post-ABC News poll. But her once-sizable margin over the freshman senator from Illinois was sliced in half during the past month largely because of Obama’s growing support among black voters.”
Now, I’m perplexed, ladies and gentlemen. We have been treated to stories in the Los Angeles Times and a number of other Drive-By Media outlets telling us that Obama is not black enough. I guess he’s getting blacker. Well, I might have helped because I pointed out he was black, since he hasn’t renounced it. He’s obviously being perceived here as becoming more black or blacker, black enough for African-Americans to get on board. Something has happened here, and, look it, when you have the Drive-By Media saying he’s not black enough and you have me saying, “But he is black,” who do you think might be influencing the shift to Obama away from Hillary?

I knew that Rush was being demonized and it would all come out, in the end. This has worked out very well for Obama. He was, and is, black anyway. I also feel confident that my boy George will be singled out for his numerous contributions to this wonderful country, and get his just desserts. The last I heard, the GOP and Diebold conspired… I mean, came to an understanding that they would… uh… count all the black votes, gay votes and even votes cast in predominately blue state areas, even if there is any question as to the votes not being… ah… authentic. All formats, news/talk, sports talk, CW, album rock, oldies (KOOL 94.5 is what I listen too myself), Spanish (don’t listen, can’t keep up). My best response is usually RW talk (Rush, Hannity etc.) followed by Spanish and CW.
About a year ago I got a call from an AARPHX, the local Air America outlet (before Nova-M), salesperson. She gave me the standard pitch, ratings not real good yet but trending up, great demos, loyal audience etc. I told her I’d consider it. I listened for a couple of weeks. Franken and Lanpher, Jeanne somebody, Turks, Maddow, Malloy, Rhodes et al. Not very entertaining for the most part, but what the heck the airtime was cheap. I committed to a 30 day rotation of some of my pre-produced commercials. Man did I get response! Mostly “How dare I pollute Air America with my adds, we’ve heard you support that fat bastard, cyst ass, drugged up, racist pig Limbaugh!†I had employees threatened, myself and my family threatened, promises to shut down my stores and those were the nice ones. I know it wasn’t everyone, but it was enough!
That’s why I troll these Moonbat sites from time to time, just to see if anything has changed. Guess not.
Needless to say I dropped that rotation, and my opinion of you people is pretty low. If you don’t get the joke, to bad.

The human condition, on Earth at this time, is deliberately one of confusion. We will examine several situations that may help to clarify the issues at play.
First, humans desire security. The human condition is insecure. From birth, or particularly at birth, the human is acutely aware of its insecure position. Nude, tiny, unable to navigate, utterly dependent on others. The human infant wants to dominate those it is dependent upon. It is natural for the human to want to dominate its environment. The human wants to control the climate, the seasons. Homes are structured to provide summer warmth year round. Food is grown or at least provided as though harvest season were year round. Storms have no effect, nor do catastrophes have effect. There is social security, the umbrella of government aid. Floods and hurricanes are but another reason to open the government coffers. All this is evidence that the human wants to dominate its environment.
Second, the desire to dominate goes outside of inanimate factors. The human wants to dominate the other humans in its vicinity. Starting with the infant’s desire to dominate its mother, all her attention, and on to the stage of public opinion, the human desires to be the focus of attention. The infant wants its cry to bring immediate attention. The adult want its comments to bring rapt attention from others in the conversation group. No difference. Those who can command attention will get their needs met – so goes the logic. The infant displaced by a younger sibling is insecure, as it is no longer the focus of attention.
Third, love comes into play. Love, or empathy, is something felt at an early age. Empathy is not an emotion reserved for the intelligent, sentient being alone. Love and empathy are felt by all forms of life, even plant life, to some degree. It is a factor of life. It is intrinsic to life. Love and empathy pull the human into a conflict situation with its desire for security, to be the center of attention. Decisions are made to share the spotlight, to share resources. These decisions vary greatly, among humans. Some humans consider others on the same plane as the self. Other humans rarely, if ever, consider others, and never on the same plane as the self.
