He made a phone call? So what? Did he have any cash in his freezer?

  2. DutchHenry Says:

Why was it his business to call a US attorney ?You can bet not to say “hello”
Can you say abuse of power ?

  3. Paul in LA Says:

Trolling at its finest. No, he coerced or rather attempted to coerce a federal prosecutor. He wasn’t even effective.

You’re going to have a lovely time on Tuesday, “Pat.”

    And you Bush-fellators deserve it.

Sounds alot like Michael, the King of question marks, the princess of prattle, the fairy of non-facts…

Why did he regret the call?

I heard that he had Jeff Gannon on speed dial and hit the wrong button.

ummm…because the prosecutor wasn’t on his “friends and family” list?

  7. Tom Says:

“never pressured him nor threatened him in any way.”

No, no, of course not. He did lose his job based on the results of your inquiry, but no, no, he was nevered threatened, thank God.

Actually it was because he said, “Jeff, Jeff, is that you?”

Talking Points Memo is the better sort for this. In fact, most of the Kos citations are to TPM and its affiliates.

  12. Uncle Ho Says:

Bet he didn’t inquire about any investiagations of Republicans(even when it merits investigation), and he’s only sorry that he got caught calling.

  13. Mistress Z Says:

Now he wishes he didn’t talk dirty during that call….

  14. Uncle Ho Says:

Mistress Z; ooooooh, obscene phone calls? Wonder how much he spends each month on phone porn(or is it teleporn?).

  15. Marie Says:

He admits to a phone call because records will not lie for him.
He, along with Wilson, has likely committed coercion of a federal judge.
Republicans don’t think they have committed a crime unless it involves money changing hands. (Democrats on the other hand, can commit crimes by simply being alive.)
Hearings will be held into this matter and Republicans may learn the hard lesson that bribery is not the only crime.

  16. Mistress Z Says:

My records say approximately $647 per month….

I can check for the whole year, but it will take a little time.

He made a phone call? So what? Did he have any cash in his freezer?

Liberals just haven’t had a chance to plant it there yet.

  18. Mistress Z Says:

    AkaDad,

    Shhhhhh…..! Damn.

  19. AkaDad Says:

    Oh God. Sorry Mistress.

I HAVE to stop drunk typing…

  22. ace Says:

Yeah, at least with the 9/11 lies, they stuck with one story - Bin Laden and the 19 Hijackers - this despite the fact that Bin Laden is not wanted by the FBI in Connection with 9/11, and that the FBI refuses to authenticate the (fake) Bin Laden Confession video released by the govrnment (because it’s obviously fake), and fully half of the 19 purported “hijackers” are still alive.

Yup - give credit where credit is due…at least when the administration attacked us on 9/11 (in league with Mossad), they made up one whopper of a lie, and stuck to it - despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

  23. mrJJ Says:

A recent report by the nonpartisan Congressional Research Service (released Feb. 22, 2007) revealed that since 1981, no more than three U.S. attorneys had ever been forced out under similar circumstances. And now we have six in a day? What’s going on?

  24. Raymond Funamoto Says:

Domenici may be the TIP of the ICEBERG, which when EXPOSED, WILL LEAD TO THE CRISIS MELTDOWN of the Injustice Department of Bushland Uber Allies, WHICH VALUES POLITICAL ALLIES MORE THAN THE TRUE PURPOSE OF THEIR CALLING–TO ENFORCE THE RULE OF LAW OF THE LAND, WHICH THEY ARE NOT DOING!!!!!
