Sure he didn’t follow the written guidelines but was the Dems who where being tried found guilty of this stuff? That is the real story. Anyone who cares that the guilty were tried to quickly needs to grab themselves and think for a moment how dumb that sounds.

I can’t bring myself to believe the Senate will punish one of their own. The Democratic majority is not sufficient to accomplish much of anything. But they will talk, and hold a hearing, and then call it quits.
Domenici is a crooked politician, a water-carrier for Bush&Co, and I’d love to see him go down, but I am not holding my breath. After all he only coerced a federal judge – you’d think it was a crime or something! (sarcasm off now)
