What Inhofe thinks of himself.

What Inhofe thinks of himself.

An Inhofe gem from last week that we missed: “Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-OK) got the crowd [at CPAC] cheering early in the day. ‘I have been called — my kids are all aware of this — dumb, crazy man, science abuser, Holocaust denier, villain of the month, hate-filled, warmonger, Neanderthal, Genghis Khan and Attila the Hun,’ he announced. ‘And I can just tell you that I wear some of those titles proudly.’”

Inhofe needs to admit Global warming is real and move on with life. He is in a position to make a difference.

  2. Zooey says:

    dumb
    crazy man
    science abuser
    Holocaust denier
    villain of the month
    hate-filled
    warmonger

I’d be proud to call Inhofe all of those things. Not the others, though. I wouldn’t want to offend Neanderthal, Genghis Khan and Attila the Hun.

  3. Uncle Ho says:

hate-filled warmonger. yup. suits him perfectly.

  4. Georgette Orwell says:

In his world, these truly are things to which to aspire. I just wish he’d leave my world alone.

  5. The Other National Anthem says:

It is not difficult to say such, Mein Fuhrer…

  6. zenster666 says:

How about “liar”? Does he wear that proudly?

  7. The Other National Anthem says:

And another thing. He only said he only likes to wear some of those titles. Would he like to tell us which ones? Like, does Holocaust Denier make it on his list, but dumb doesn’t. Where does hate-filled rank?

  8. leftcoast says:

What is troubling is that the audience at CPAC roared with applause at his and Coulter’s comments. These folks should send chills up our spines for the future of America. They should not be allowed to procreate.

  9. Gregor Samsa says:

Inhofe in the same league with Genghis Khan? I don’t think so. Whatever you think of him, Temuchin was actually a very smart man, and an extremely able commander.

Although Inhofe would probably be more at home in Genghis Khan’s times, with the Earth still being at the center of the universe and all…

  10. RUCerious says:

    Gengis Khan, he ain’t.

  11. Jess Wundrun says:

#8 I think natural selection is helping us on that front, in that not too many people want to procreate with these knuckledraggers.

However, have you noticed that if they do find someone to make babies with, they end up popping out a passel? As in hurry before they find out we’re cousins. (Sorry about that Rudy)

  12. AshenShard says:

Why are people always comparing people who should not be leading our country to Genghis Khan? He was an effective military and political leader. Sure he slaughtered entire populations, but that wasn’t as rare during the period as one might think. His memory has just been demonized in the Western world because his armies came close to conquering it.

  13. ForTruth says:

I’d just like to call him a gay man in denial.

That’s enough to get his feathers ruffled.

  14. hellinabucket says:

And others he wears because they go good with the white hood.

  15. lestatdelc says:

So which of the tiles is he proud to wear, and which does he only wear on the down-low?

  16. RedPretzel says:

I guess the one upside of the pending global warming disaster is that eventually, Inhofe and his ilk will all suffer horribly with the rest of us.

  17. Goebbels says:

Hitler was proud to be called a Nazi too.

  18. hellinabucket says:

ForTruth, but then you’d have to go to rehab if you called him a faggot. And you’d room with Ann Coulter. For God’s sake man, don’t do it.

  19. lestatdelc says:

    Ugh.

    the tiles

    Should read:

    the tiltes

  20. Jeremy Henderson says:

If he thinks he’s a neanderthal, does that mean he believes in evolution? I bet the folks at the KKK CPAC rally wouldn’t have been cheering so loudly if they knew that about him.

  21. dixie blood says:

    InHoof = CUA!!!

  22. angryvietnamvet says:

To me, those people at the CPAC meetings, acting like those brownshirts when Der Fuehrer was just getting a start…smell like authoritarian fascists. They must be stopped.

  23. War4Sale says:

    Oh, he missed, “IDIOT!”

  24. Raven says:

    …okie dokie, inhofe…

  25. pny says:

For admitting to being any of those, he should be impeached.

  26. Roger_Roger says:

It is sad that people like him hold us back from working towards a reduction in emissions.

  27. Karim says:

A -monger indeed…I can’t wait to see him out of office.

  28. JPark says:

#27 It is Oklahoma, Karim. He is going to be in office for a long, long time.

  29. Roger_Roger says:

It is odd that even if he doubts Global Warming, he is still ok with taking the chance of doing nothing. Wouldn’t a smart person still reduce emissions on the outside chance it is real. Kinda an endgame here for humans. He should be smarter about this. The longer we wait, the longer we go without being able to apply pressure to the primary problem of global warming which is China, India, and Russia. As long as we drag our feet, the three biggest problem countries really have no pressure on them. We act now so we can take care of them now.

  30. The Daily Background » Blog Archive » Which is it, Senator Inhofe? says:

[...] (and former Chairman of the Committee on the Environment and Public Works) Senator Jim Inhofe said the following at CPAC this weekend: “I have been called — my kids are all aware of this — dumb, crazy [...]

  31. JPark says:

    #29 I am impressed RR.

  32. Jay Randal says:

Inhofe is proud that he is a brain-dead fool > lol.

  33. Roger_Roger says:

#30 The thing is, I don’t look at Global Warming as a political issue anymore. This is a human/World issue yet our politicians don’t treat it that way. On one hand, you have the losers that don’t believe it or are paid to deny it. On the other hand, you have those that believe in it but don’t seem to understand the Global issues surrounding it. THey whine and moan about getting us to use a different light bulb or demanding 1-2 more miles per gallon. All that stuff amounts to NOTHING if we aren’t also fixing the big problems. Why is it that we focus on the minute micro problems and avoid the big ones.

We leave China, Russia, and India out of any emission reduction obligations. China is scheduled to increase emissions by over 600% by 2020. That increase will add more emissions then every country in the world is scheduled to reduce there’s by. Then you have India scheduled to increase their’s by 90% and Russia by 60%.

We sit here and debate how much and how fast we can reduce ours yet don’t even bother putting pressure on the worst polluters by Greenhouse Gas Intensity.

Russia, China, and India account for 25% of all Global Emissions yet only 7% of GLobal GDP. The USA on the other hand accounts for 25% of world GDP and only 24% of emissions. It is time we apply pressure to these countries to adopt the USA model and NOT INCREASE EMISSIONS, rather reduce them. The EU and the USA effort is in vein without those 3 countries on board.

  34. JPark says:

Roger, how exactly are we supposed to put pressure on Russia, China and India when we officially deny global warming? We can’t. Especially Russia, since they are a signatory of the Kyoto Treaty. Even if the government wanted to help (which they obviously don’t) they couldn’t because of their stance.

  35. Ozonator says:

Poor Jimbo forgot to include corporate whore of pimp ExxonMobil, poacher of organs (harvester) for the medical industry, and overall raper and pillager of Mother Nature.

  36. CoffinsDrapedWithFlags says:

    He missed one… FOOL.

  37. Roger_Roger says:

#33 I completely agree. This is why we need to start demanding our government officially acknowledge global warming. Our government also needs to set reductions on a timetable. If we get that far, we then need to completely shred the Kyoto Treaty. That treaty can easily kill the earth. It says that China, India, and Russia are exempt. That cannot continue to happen if we want any chance of survival. They are the worst polluters by a mile when looking at greenhosue gas intensity and the Kyoto treaty allows them to keep current emissions levels and freely raise them. I can’t believe anyone in the world would have signed Kyoto.

Our world leaders are handling Global Warming with kiddie gloves and that needs to stop. If you truly believe Global warming is the huge problem that it is, how the hell would you sign a treaty that officially kills the earth?

  38. lestatdelc says:

Ok, who kidnapped the real Roger Roger, you know, the raving lunatic?

  39. Raymond Funamoto says:

Inhofe IS ANOTHER PIECE OF RANCID HYENA-SHIT THAT NEEDS TO BE FLUSHED DOWN THE CRAPPER OF HISTORY ALONG WITH HIS BUTT-BUDDY Michael Crichton, the Jurassic-Fossil SHIT-FOR-BRAINS repugnant-repub rightwingnut crank and FREAK OF NATURE–NATURE MAY ABHOR A VACCUM, BUT IT ABHORS FREAKS LIKE Inhofe and Crichton EVEN MORE!!!!!Inhofe IS ONE OF THE MOST DESPICABLE members of the repugnant-repub rightwingnut crank fudge-pachyderms of the G(houlish) O(pportunistic) P(edophile) party, AND THE SOONER HE IS VOTED OUT OF OFFICE WITH HIS FELLOW-TRAVELLERS LIKE Domenici, Cornyn, Graham, McPAIN, Kyl, Bond, Brownback, Grassley, Chambliss, Shelby, McConnell, Lott, i.e., ALL the fudge-pachyderms, THE BETTER OFF AMERICA WILL BE!!!!!

  40. Roger_Roger says:

#38 It is funny how you party loyalists can’t fathom how someone like me can care about the issues and not the party behind them. It is shocking how stunned you folks are when you see the same person defend 1 conservative value and then 1 Dem value. To me, that is obvious as the party behind the view matters for NOTHING. They are only there to serve me and you afterall.

  41. Ozonator says:

#36. Na, you are slightly incorrect as “fool” is a heavy industry harlot requirement to go to Haiti with Rush and the other extremist Republicans and Christians for the last 5 years in the Walter Reed investigation and climate/gender change team ….
