We’re looking for a new member to join our “great left-wing slime machine” here at the Center for American Progress Action Fund in Washington, D.C. Job responsibilities would include:
– Writing content and conducting research for the blog, ThinkProgress.org
– Writing content and conducting research for the daily newsletter, The Progress Report
– Assisting with various research projects
We’re looking for someone with at least a college degree, strong writing and research skills, the ability to work under tight deadlines, and an undying enthusiasm for reading the news, including blogs.
If you or someone you know is interested, please send a resume and cover letter directly to us at thinkprogress@americanprogressaction.org.

Sorry Patrick1, while you must be proud of those skills of lying despite all of the facts, they aren’t what this blog is looking for. You should take them over to stormfront or freerepublic or even fox news – where they’ll get you a job as a reporter or editor.

This is now considered a conservative cost. The purpose of empires is to bring wealth into the empiring country from those conquered. A failed empire is when the reverse of this is the case such as in Iraq where the conquered country has and will cost at least $2 trillion as previously mentioned. In fact looking at the history of the U.S. attempts at establishing and empire the FAILURE IS USUALLY THE SCENARIO. Name one conquered country that not been a failure.

Don’t bother about the military war exercises China is carrying out.
Ignore the treaties between Russia and Iran, China and Iran and all the investment in Iran of both of these countries.
Bush and his handlers of less than a dozen men will carry out their long ago conceived plans.
They do not require permission of Congress; they think that they have it already.
In any case they will ignore or veto any bill that even hints at stopping them.
So, with all of the above; America is finished.
The war/strike on Iran will inevitably lead to a wider conflict, which will include China, Russia, Pakistan, Syria and many other countries in the
Middle East.
Millions will die, even if the Pentagon doesn’t use nukes, in the first pre-emptive strike on Iran.
So, you Americans, isolated and separated by two great oceans from most of the rest of the world; how will all this effect you?

I mean maybe a month, but for a whole year. As you are aware with my string of successes and the enormous experience I bring to bare, I would be launching Think progress within a month to a doubling of your unique page hits and to a significantly larger share of the hot demographics. That kind of performance isn’t free. I am the process of picking the winner so to speak so it would be prudent on you part to raise your personal expectations of success and sign me $$$$$.

Unfortunately, I am disabled, and although I have very successfully teleworked in the past, I find that the majority of employers still operate under the notion that constant supervision, suspiciousness, and micromanagement are conducive to employee productivity when repeated research has shown the opposite to be true.
In fact, had it not been for micromanagement, the shuttle Columbia may never have exploded and the Iraq War may have been prevented.(www.libdirectory.idsc.gov.eg/cas/articles/articlemanagement1.pdf).
While I am qualified to work for your organization, and have considered sending you my resume, because of my disability, there is a slim possibility that I would not meet a deadine.
And, as I’ve learned under our current administration, the ADA is not enforced, nor does the EEOC, despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary, including emails written by individuals from their own networked computers, find that any discrimination against anyone for any reason, particularly disability, ever takes place.

But since Think Progress always provides links or videos to verify their stories I don’t see how it is smearing anyone.
When politicians make bad decisions or say stupid things it should be shouted from the rooftops, which is exactly what Think Progress is trying to do, and I hope they keep it up.
