Justice Dept. releases U.S. Attorney documents.
Bowing to a request from House Judiciary Committee Chairman John Conyers (D-MI) and Rep. Loretta Sanchez (D-CA), the Justice Department has released a set of internal communications about the U.S. Attorney purge. Read them HERE. Below, a photo of Sanchez and Conyers holding the documents up today:

And here I thought it was supposed to be loyalty to the Constitution and the rule of law.
I guess political loyalty trumps patriotic loyalty for Republicans in general and Pres. Bush in specific.

March 13th, 2007 at 2:09 pmTalk about your smoking gun. There’s a line through Carol Lam’s name, indicating “weak US Attorneys who have been ineffectual managers and prosectors, chafed against administration initiatives, etc.
Lam was behind the prosecution of Duke Cunningham and was going after Jerry Lewis. Since she clearly was’t “ineffectual”, I wonder what administration initiatives she chafed against?
