This article will also explain why natural progesterone is the best treatment, and a much better choice compared to birth control pills.

A Libby Pardon Pardons Cheney's Propaganda Operation

Lying has Consequences? Who knew?

Once upon a time Paul Revere rode through the land acclaiming that "The Red Coats are Coming."

Scooter's conviction has similarly caused a new message to go out in the politics-first, truth-second neocon propaganda cabal leading the Bush White House.

It's a strange concept to this crowd and they've become quite nervous. As they crowd around the water coolers, the buzz is: "Did ya hear? There are actually certain lies and certain circumstances for which I, you and the big boys can be held to be legally accountable."

Any politician or pundit that calls for Scooter to be pardoned should first be asked to state without reservation that one of the normal and acceptable operations of the American executive is to initiate and oversee an office of propaganda that deliberately and with malice aforethought manipulates the truth to achieve a political objective.

How can some higher up, i.e.Scooter in this case, not have eventually been caught in legally crossing the line when truth telling has been so relegated to the political trash bin. Cheney, under oath, would have no choice other than pleading the Fifth Amendment.

Those who favor pardoning Scooter symbolically condone and champion the neocon propaganda cabal and each of its lies that initiated the deaths and injuries of thousands of America's youth.

I realize that no political party is perfect, but have I been living in a cave recently?

It’s just that all of this appears to have gotten to a level that we haven’t seen in decades.

At the same time Pelosi and Ried keep talking about impeachment being off the table. If half of what we’re hearing is true, the President and the administration are guilty of how many crimes?

17. I thought you said China, Russia and India need to take the lead.

That was yesterday. Roger can't remember what his position is from day to day. Because yesterday he thought all other countries should do something before us.

Observations:

#5, TMM - The cancer analogy is apt for just the reasons you specify. Excise the whole mass or be doomed to failure.

#6, BnF - I think a new, Progressive Party is just what is needed. I think, though, that Republicans and Democrats would race each other to kill it aborning. Social-justice-minded (and other) Dems would be scared back into line by the DNC with threats about how it would be the Green Party all over again, "stealing" votes from "good" Dem candidates. If anybody wants to give it a shot, though, lemme know. I'm in the Facebook TP group. Check for a comment from me on the wall, where I claim my screen name from here. He11, I've probably been wasting my vote for years now anyway.

Anent impeachment: YES. Just YES. If this President's and VP's acts do not warrant impeachment, then the procedure has no meaning. Put the axe to the tree and let the chips fall where they may. I'm inclined to think that most Americans would rise up in support of Dems if they did this, as they did in the mid-term elections when neocon corruption turned even the stomachs of conservatives.Perhaps then we could end this nightmare of a wrongful invasion and occupation and the worst administration in the history of the Empire^H^H^H^H^H^HRepublic.

13. But it also portrayed climate change as a slow-motion process.
Comment by Dale — March 13, 2007 @ 9:42 am

Doesn't that mean that REVERSALS will also be slow moving. Meaning, and I know this is complicated for you, that its going to get worse before it gets better. And that's IF we start making changes now.

Because we only have this ONE PLANET - only fool would think it unwise to err on the side of caution.

Now go watch the Jetsons.

Anybody thought about using MoveOn, ThinkProgress, et al to form a Progressive Party with a 50 State Strategy of our own?

If Dems won't get the lead out of their asses something needs to be done.

Actualy, TripMaster, I don't completely disagree with your posting. You are certainly correct that "it’s normal for an incoming President to ask for the resignations of the current U.S attorneys at the beginning of his term, so that he may replace them with his team."

As I also pointed out, however, this administration did not ask for the resignations of all U.S. Attorneys--just a few. And I understand what you are saying abut the non-confirmation provision. But the fact is, as far as I know, the administration never utilized that provision.

Like, I said to Dogjudge, I do think these developments are disturbing and certainly indicate a crass political motivation behind some of these firings. I have no problem with Congress taking a look at what happened and why. In fact, I encourage it.

I just wanted to add a historical perspective to all this. But your comments and distinctions are well taken.
