Bernie Kerik ‘appears headed for indictment.’»

Bernard Kerik, former police commissioner and confidante of Rudy Giuliani, “appears headed for an indictment… Kerik has turned down a guilty plea that would have included federal jail time, Dienst says. The next step is up to federal prosecutors; Kerik has already pleaded guilty to state charges.” Kerik is facing allegations of “mortgage fraud, tax fraud, conspiracy to eavesdrop, and making false statements on his application to become U.S. Homeland Security Secretary.”

Another quality Bush appointment. A Senate confirmation process is the only thing that stopped this creep from heading up the Department of Homeland Security.

  2. Zooey Says:

Hey Bernie, you’re gonna be the prettiest and most popular girl at the Prison Ball.

  3. ForTruth Says:

I think the Bush admin brings out the worst in people. This guy would have been honest on the application, but heard he had the inside track and to not worry about it. I think that kind of thing has happened quite a bit. People who have never crossed the line before, feel they can do that now, because of the corrupt Bush administration. We call it the “culture of corruption”.

  4. RUCerious Says:

    Awww, say it ain’t so….
    Patsie, care to comment?
    How bout you Flaccido?

  5. Patrick1 Says:

He turned down the plea it seems because he thinks he is innocent. You may want to wait for a trial first to see if you get a Merry Fitzmas or yet another lump of call in the leftist stocking.

    RUC,

    Your timing is impeccable. :D

  8. powkat Says:

And there goes Rudi. Honk if you think John McCain is going to make hay out this.

  9. Raven Says:

Dang, phlatrack, you are just one heckuva thumpin troll today!
Did KKKarl give you a raise, or just threaten you again?
Or wait….. hey….., we haven’t heard from Daryll today, even with the overload of gay threads… hmmmm….

  10. Styve Says:

$5 that he will sing a song that will end Julie Guiliani’s run for the Rethug nomination!!

  11. Patrick1 Says:

With Hillary and Osama Obama trailing Rudy by double digits they need something. So they have grabbed on to this straw, good luck.

  12. Shane Says:

Brownback going, Guiliani (when all the pictures come out with him in drag) definitely gone, McCain couldn’t bother to show up for a vote on national security where other republicans crossed the aisle losing the swing vote…..
    Its a beautiful day!

A strawman is your claim - dum bass!

What’s happening to the Candidate that looks best in a *skirt* is all his and his friends doing. Or did you miss the part where Kerik has *admitted* wrongdoing? Sounds like an Abramoff redux, doesn’t it?

Tell me this PatrickZero. For a party that claims to have morals as its core? Why are all of the GOP candidates the ones involved in shady deals, divorces, homosexual prostitution and affairs?

    What, afraid of yourselves? ;)

  14. Roger_Roger Says:

Rudy Giuliani is a loser canidate just like McCain and Clinton. How the repugs would pull a Dem move and nominate either McCain or Giuliani is mindboggling. Its like neither party learns from past nomination errors. At least the Dems have good canidates that will cruise to victory if nominated. The Repugs are scrambling right now.

In the end, the Dems probably won’t be able to get over their bigoted ways and nominate a Black man. I still think you should though. You would “one up” the repugs. Afterall, the repugs have currently put African Americans in spots like Sec. of State while the Dems have currently failed to allow their Afircan American supporters any big spot within government. Nominating a Black man would actually show the American public the Dems, like the repugs, are over the former racial blockades of the past. I think the American public would appreciate having 2 parties supporting the Black community instead of just the repugs.

I’ll match that $5, and I’ll send $50 to a 9/11 family charity if Kerik makes Guiliani cry in public.

I think I’ll stay in this post, apparently the insufferable Patty is the only one of the enablers/fascist appeasers/propaganda-pushers/Kool-Aid swillers/water-carriers or whatever other term I have for them to show up on this post. Someone really has them on the beat today.

Hmmm, so you’re not for Giuliani or McCain. Dare I ask who you would like them to nominate?

  18. VerbalKint Says:

Rudy a serious candidate Patrick? BWA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!

What an idiot. Dumbest troll ever, and still setting a new low each and every day.

Ummm…under what link do we find this poll? Or are you just being disingenuous as usual?

  21. Jackie Rawlings Says:

Gonzo has to hurry up and fire the DOJ lawyer so the charges can be dropped like they were done with Ms. Dunn. The plan is working well fire the honest DOJ lawyers next fire the honest Judges. Judge Walton might be next if he thinks of sentencing Libby to jail. Fitzgerald’s days are numbered as a DOJ lawyer because he followed the law and not the Bush policy. Good news for Abramoff, Duke, Skilling and Ney. Now even Kenny boy can come back from the dead as the United States has no Justice System anymore. The Bush Crime Team is totally in control.

  22. ValiantVenusGrewFromUranus Says:

Patrick1, is that the same poll that showed Edwards Neck and Neck with Guiliani?

Edwards trails only by two points, 46% to 44%

And that’s all before most of America sees Guiliani dressed as Ms. Monroe, or realizes what a lying, cheating, horrific administrator he is.

We call this the *honeymoon* candidate. Familiarity will produce a lot of contempt among the GOP especially. Don’t dare expect he’ll make it through the primary. The ever vicious whiny and b*tchie Gingrich will surely swiftboat him right out of the nomination.

  23. bob (not the hacker) Says:

    So, patwit?
what does this have to do with your buddy berni “six fingers” kerick’s future as a jailwhore? If you’r such a rudy fan, you must be into incest as well, that would explain ia lot…

Zooey - I’ll match you anothe r$50 if Guiliiani’s wearing a dress when he cries!

  25. upside00 Says:

Guiliani has more than dresses in his closet, especially involving his ties to organized crime while he was a Government attorney. But the Dems should just wait this out and then fire the big guns if he makes it that far.

  28. JaneESchneider Says:

#3, ForTruth, Bernie Kerik had already crossed the line well before he was up for head of Homeland Security. He had been caught using a Homeland- Security-rented apartment in NYC as a love nest after 9/11.

  29. Bluedog49 Says:

How funny. The Bush cultist says Rudy leads Hillary by “double-digits,” says “read it and weep, moonbat,” and directs us to a Rassumessen poll that shows him ahead by 9%.

  30. Bluedog49 Says:

Gee, the last Newsweek poll at the beginning of the month had Rudy with 47% and Hillary with 46%. Our Bush cultist would probably call this a commanding lead for Rudy.

  31. JaneESchneider Says:

I’m sorry, but every time I think of Rudy Giuliani, I can’t help thinking of him in an old SNL sketch where he played a cab driver, and his response to everything that the passenger said was “Freakin’ Giuliani!”

  32. Cafe Politico » Quick Question Says:

[…] is it with Bush appointees lying on their resumes to make them look more qualified than they are for a given position? Do they really think they won’t get caught? And why does […]

  33. Bluedog49 Says:

Every time I see Giuliani, I think of the 300 first responders who are dead because Rudy didn’t think it was important spend the money needed to get their communication devices on the same frequencies. That is, of course, when I’m not thinking about how he brought his mistress into his house while his current wife and children were sleeping there.

  34. Bluedog49 Says:

I seem to recall that conservatives got a big kick out of the fact that Al Gore couldn’t carry his own home state in 2000. Tell us, Bush cultists — could Rudy beat Hillary in New York State? Not even close.

    Comment by Bluedog49

Bush cultists aren’t very good at simple arithmetic (not to mention, English spelling and grammar), I remember on one thread a troll calling himself joeslogic (now that’s got to be an oxymoron, if there’s ever been one) told us he was citing four names of supposedly corrupt Democrats but actually listed only three. joesillogic seems to have disappeared, however I wouldn’t doubt if he has actually come back here as “Patrick1″ or “michael.”

  41. Shirley Says:

Arnold Schwarzeneggar posed NAKED for the GAYEST photographer of his time, Robert Maplethorpe, was a shaved, oiled bodybuilder, and still got SOLD to the Californian electorate by a slick promotional campaign. They will do the same thing to Rotten Rudy Giuliani. Photos in drag, serial polygamy, mob connections, Bernard Kerik, whatever REAL DIRT there is on Giuliani, you’re NOT going to be seeing too much of it in this election. But you will see the corporate media promote a “halfrican” named Hussein as Rush Bimbo called him, up against “America’s Mayor” and lot’s of smearing of Hilary Clinton. Even NPR’s Wait Wait, Don’t Tell Me radio quiz show got in on the act by pulling a Howard Dean Scream-type smear on Clinton by playing an edited out-of-context audio clip of her black speech in Selma recently. Face it, we are looking at a totalitarian regime on at least another 4 years of Republicans, just as they did with Reagan and Bush the Greater.

  42. chuck Says:

C’mon, of course he’s going to let this go to trial and then he’ll get a pardon from Bush right about the time the trial is concluded.

    Duh.

What would YOU tell him to do if you were this shitbag’s lawyer?
