The Congressional Black Caucus Institute is apparently planning two debates, and one of them may still be with Fox, so keep the pressure on.
UPDATE: In somewhat related news:
Former U.S. Senate candidate Harold Ford Jr. is going to work for Fox News Channel as a political commentator, the network announced this morning.
Now heading the Democratic Leadership Council and working for Merrill Lynch, the former Congressman from Memphis was bested by Republican Bob Corker in the November election.

Ok…so how are the trolls gonna try to spin this one?
I can’t wait.
March 14th, 2007 at 3:53 pmI ENCOURAGE both debates. It will give Americans a chance to see how each network covers these events. A compare/contrast of the reporting technics may help show Fox’s bias - it may even force Fox to be a bit more fair then they’d like.
I’m guessing Fox may still spin it some-what and simply lie, claiming that was just how the debate THEY covered unfolded, and it wasn’t their fault in any way.
March 14th, 2007 at 3:58 pmBy doing both, you can make comparisons and (more objectively) expose Faux for what they are. However, the 20%ers will still drink their kool-aid and dismiss any criticism of Faux.
March 14th, 2007 at 3:58 pmDance with the devil and get what you deserve.
March 14th, 2007 at 3:59 pmI guess they saw CNN’s ratings…LOL
March 14th, 2007 at 4:01 pmSorry, not every old saying applies to every situation. Frankly, I also encourage this scenario of having one debate on each network, to show clearly the differences between the two.
March 14th, 2007 at 4:03 pmIf I hear another conservative try to use the ratings argument, I am going to go insane. TV news and talk radio simply aren’t a preferred source for liberals in this country to get their news. Of course, it’s all a competition to conservatives, so they constantly reference CNN’s low ratings and MSNBC’s low ratings as if it reflects a trend in this country.
March 14th, 2007 at 4:05 pmThe source for liberals is what? From this website I would deduce it is some kind of chemical haze.
March 14th, 2007 at 4:09 pmGeez, gotta go, Jack Cafferty is on CNN…….
March 14th, 2007 at 4:12 pmmike d - I think it also explains why the conservatives have a unified, albeit twisted, ideology. They’re all drinking from the same pitcher of kool-aid. Diversification of their viewpoints would require tolerance for opposing viewpoints…which isn’t witnessed. This means that a single “news” (and I say that liberally) source, such as Faux, will suffice and it ultimately leads to better ratings.
March 14th, 2007 at 4:13 pmSorry — too little, too late — from now on, President Bush will only do interviews on, and take questions at Press Conferences from Fox News reporters and Rush Limbaugh ; )
March 14th, 2007 at 4:16 pm#11 — Hey Jake!
Why do you keep ducking the question?
Where’s your so-called “proof” that Pres. Clinton fired attorneys 6 years into his term for political reasons?
Why do you cut & run when asked to back up your assertions??
March 14th, 2007 at 4:23 pmThe owner announced he is changing the network name “Fox” to “Fuzzy Fox” to reflect the changing tide of public awareness…
March 14th, 2007 at 4:26 pmand to try to keep his network from going down the tubes…
Do you liberals think people are so stupid that they can’t make up their own minds on how a candidate answers a question. You are more hung up on where the debate is held rather than the answers these people will provide and yes, FOX will ask tough questions! Maybe that’s what you are worried about?
March 14th, 2007 at 4:26 pmAgain so soon?
March 14th, 2007 at 4:28 pmDon’t forget the other right wing propaganda maching:
A$$ Blaster Central
March 14th, 2007 at 4:28 pmI THINK THE CBC NEEDS TO DO A “faux paux” i.e., FOX PASS ON THIS ONE!!!!!
March 14th, 2007 at 4:31 pmDance with the devil …

Are you so stupid, that you think liberals want or need a propaganda outlet like Fox to *spin* news, questions and responses? That’s what stupid people like you *need*!
You are more hung up on where the debate is held rather than the answers these people will provide and yes, FOX will ask tough questions! Maybe that’s what you are worried about? Comment by michael — March 14, 2007 @ 4:26 pm
Yet, it’s YOU and FOX that keep whining. Why are you so worried michael? Fox is being de-legitimized as “Fair and Balanced”, reducing their impact on 2008?
When are you going to climb from under that desk of yours, you cowardly old puke?

How is it not? And by whom - you? BAHAHA, sorry, but you aren’t competent enough to stop the Fox and GOP train wreck. Heck, you aren’t competent enough to go to the bathroom without a diaper - coward puke!
March 14th, 2007 at 7:33 pm#10 - Progressives are about as tolerant of opposing ideas as the Taliban is of mini-skirts. It really doesn’t matter where the Congressional Black Caucus holds their debate - the questions will be softballs and the answers will be thoroughly rehearsed and rehashed….and we know the CBC will endorse whoever the Dems nominate……

Not at all. We’re just tolerant of *st*pid* and unfounded *ideas*. Opposing ideas grounded in more than your religious, and social engineering b*llsh*t are just fine - st*pid c*nt.
The problem with you CONs, is that you think *all* ideas and opinions are equal, no matter how st*pid or unfounded they might be. You ignore science, reason and common sense with your *ideas*. And are we tolerant of your *ignorance*? Sure, until you try to *push* your st*pid ideas as agenda.

Sounds like a *Fox* interview. So in otherwords, you’re only a *bigot* about this when Dems are involved. St*pid c*nt.

And we all know that you Nationalist zealots will endorse whatever extreme AWOL draft dodging business failure government failure your pathetic excuse for a political party will nominate.
You really should stop *projecting* your own st*pidity on others Anorexia. At your weight it must be easier to focus on everyone else, than your own pathetic life. But it just makes you look more st*pid than you already do!
St*pid c*nt!
March 14th, 2007 at 8:13 pmwell, with harold joing the faux channel, does anyone still think that the dlc is a valid Democratic organization? Good ole harold will continue to sell out his brothers and sisters to the racist right wing garbage. You go harold, you go!
March 14th, 2007 at 8:17 pmAs long as there are DLC Republicrats like Harry Reid, Harold Ford, and let’s not forget Rupert Murdoch’s buddy Hillary Clinton, there will be efforts from within the party to put Democratic events on Faux News.
