Back on the bus.

Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) steps off the “Straight Talk Express” after arriving in Des Moines, Iowa.

NYT:

And the bus? It’s still called Straight Talk Express. But it is by all appearances new and gleaming. Fox TV is playing on the monitors.

All aboard!

Hey, John, man, like, are you
    on the bus?

  2. ShamRockNRoll says:

F*ck John McCain… he deserves no respect from anyone for the way he has sold out over the last 3 years. He should be ashamed of himself.

  3. Mary Poplins says:

McCain is a trailor. We need to get out of Iraq. He will never be our next President. We do not want another Right Wing Nut Republican in office.

  4. Technodaoist says:

    BWAAAAAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

He’s turrned himself into a walking contradiction and he has the gall to keep riding in that bus?

    Whatta joke.

Just like every other conservative candiate.

  5. ∞Ω says:

Which is exactly why I call him the Straight Talk Express My @$$!

  8. veritas says:

Flipper McGee needs to get on the bus and stay on the bus until the campaign is over – if he’s smart, he’ll realize that his numbers are dropping like the Titanic.

  9. Spudge_Boy says:

Where is Jake and Patrick1 to tell us that McCain is the greatest leader since leaders were invented?

  10. trippin says:

I suppose that “The Bullsh!t Express” must’ve been taken.

  11. veritas says:

“Straight Talk Express” is the polar opposite of the “master flipflopper” and “doubletalk expert” which McCain truly is. He hasn’t a clue as to who he is or what he believes in. I think he’s had some frontal lobe damage from his Vietnam days.

  12. R says:

Wow, this guy looks on-the-go. It appears as though his suit jacket is hiding some really impressive “man-breasts”, too. And the camera angle hides his chipmunk cheeks quite effectively. Good, gooooood pho-op, Johnny, baby! Now, go get ‘em! Kill ‘em! Go on, now. JOHN, GET OUTTA HERE! Jesus!

  13. veritas says:

Since Colin Powell betrayed himself – his sense of personal honor, integrity, and self-respect in agreeing to be a “stoolie” for the neocons agenda, never have I seen such contempt for an individual take root. John McCain, at one point in time (before he became a sycophantic whore of the Bush Cadre) maintained a high degree of integrity and engendered a giant degree of respect from the people of this country. He began his “descent into darkness” during the debates for the nomination of his party at which point he made the decision to become Bush’s personal sycophant…..roving around the country stumping for Bush. This association/personal affiliation contaminated and continues to contaminate McCain’s image with the people. To boot, McCain appears to be totally out of touch with the needs of this country and out of synch with the american people in his points of view…not to mention much too old for the office.

I really am baffled as to why anyone in their right mind (operative word here: right mind) would continue to indulge in the charade of believing themselves to be a credible candidate at this point in his career.

I prefer the Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell Express.

  18. Mike Hunt says:

I wonder when John plans to start talking straight?? What are the odds given that by bookies in Las Vegas? 1 million to 1??

  19. freeman says:

now if were only to drop acid and paint himself in dayglow ,I’d vote for him .

  20. R says:

If he agreed to do a re-make of Deliverance in full drag while snorting coke and crystal meth, I might give him a nod. But vote for him? NEVER!

  21. theswan says:

    Steeped in his own demise.
