Rohrabacher becomes #3:»

CBS:

More Republicans called for his ouster, and one Republican strategist close to the White House told CBS News that Gonzales is “finished.”

Congressman Dana Rohrbacher became the latest Republican to say Gonzales should go, reports CBS News White House correspondent Jim Axelrod. “Even for Republicans this is a warning sign … saying there needs to be a change,” said Rohrbacher. “Maybe the president should have an attorney general who is less a personal friend and more professional in his approach.”

It helps when they have the retired *diaper-brigade* spewing the crap all over the tubes. The old b*st*rds are scared out of their wits, and will repeat the st*pidest crap - because they don’t know how the *tubes* work yet!

Once an adult, twice a *child* really comes through when you see a juvenile 75 year old pr*ck like Jake. How he got through his entire life, being such a complete fool is a miracle!

  8. Briseadh na Faire Says:

The problem is, even if Gonzalez goes, the political appointees stay, and the investigations which triggered the firings remain closed.

Gonzalez, too, is a pawn who has outlived his usefulness.

  9. hypatia's father Says:

    Indeed, Fritz. Good point.

In fact, I’m a little peeved that this is moving so quickly. No reason why the process shouldn’t be proloooooonnnnged for a month or so. The story is wonderful for setting a perfect contrast between conservatives and progressives, and I’d hate it to be resolved too quickly by Gonzo getting the early boot.

I’m just saying. We need them to circle the drain a while…

  10. Zooey Says:

  15. Shlomo Says:

I wouldn’t get all excited about these Republicans ‘eating their own’ just yet. There are a few likely reasons these a**holes are speaking up now, and all of them disingenuous.

    1) They are about to get caught themselves in this monkey business and are doing some quick backtracking.

    2) They don’t want their electorate to think they are involved.

    3) They are lying to make it seem as if they object to the Chimp-in-Chief’s policy, but they secretly continue to support it wholeheartedly. This is a ploy to entice Democrats into a bipartisan effort which will, no doubt, be bogged down by subsequent partisanship and parliamentary largess.

Every time a Republican speaks out against Bush, it turns out that that very same Republican continues to offer up the rubber stamp. There is no point even reporting what these liars say.

To hell with them and Faux News.

Yes, it is going too fast. They are dumping Gonzo to cover for Rove and…wait for it…Bush. I’m from TX. I’ve watched him for years. When he said he gave no specific orders I knew he was lying. He gave orders for at least one attorney to be fired for not being, and I quote, “a loyal Bushie.” I’d bet there is evidence in writing of this. Even if we can’t impeach for it I really want to see this in the MSM.

Nobody here appeases the terrorist FH, the reality is this war is harming our economy, with no economy and America taking loans from China to help support this war is the reality.

Sure, you want to fight, like some playstation game, the reality is much different and your only thinking on one level.

There was one kid they were really excited to get, but I knew that kid had a nasty juvenile record, and it was only a matter of time before he made it into my felony files. I couldn’t show them the juvenile files, which made it appear that he had no record, but I made it clear to them that they needed to talk to Youth Services. About 4th grade level I’d guess. That’s probably why our trolls stay here, unless of course they’re paid to be here.

Hmm, I guess it is easier to train them to be killers.
    Comment by JPark

Yeah, they’re the ones who get the 15 year old Iraqi girls and their family — and everyone ends up dead. Oy.

  91. Zep Tepi Says:

I’m enjoying your revolving names. I may be Mistress Z tomorrow. It feels right. :)

    Comment by Zooey

But you always know who I am and who I am not, and I you.

Yet it confuses the trolls horribly. =)

  92. JPV Says:

I love the logic of these IDIOTS.

If your willing to risk your life in order to retain your freedom and way of life… you’re a COWARD.

If you want to give our freedoms away on the chance that we might be a little safer… you’re BRAVE.

Just the perfect logic for the BIZARRO world we find ourselves in these days.

Well, I’m willing to risk my life in order to keep my freedoms.

The IDIOT should put his money were his mouth is and enlist right away to protect the US… and if he doesn’t, he can just STFU for being a hypocrite and a C O W A R D.

  93. Marlow Says:

#45, Tell us about your belief in a strong executive branch when a democratic president sits there. To anyone but a coward such as yourself, the Constitution IS a suicide pact…”Live free or die”, remember that? “Those who would surrender their precious freedom for a little security deserve neither and will lose both”. Remember that?
In a real fight to defend our nation, I sure as f.ck wouldn’t want you in my squad. You’d rather live safely in a prison state–sickening.

  94. Zep Tepi Says:

These Senators are traitors and should be treated as such. Bush needs to dissolve the Senate, send all Senators to forced labor camps, and rule by decree. As soon as we win the War on Terror, Bush will give up his powers and we can return to democracy

What makes you think you would not be sent to a forced labor camp firehead?

  95. chimpeach Says:

Congressman Dana Rohrbacher became the latest Republican to say Gonzales should go

The crack in the dam just got wider. It won’t be long now.

  96. JPark Says:

#89 Congrats military. You know how to pick em.

  97. Zep Tepi Says:

    I can see it now.

Firehead sitting in a forced labor camp crying, “Why did I back such things? What I have done? God forgive me! God please help me.”

Awww, poor trollies. I’m definitely changing for tomorrow. :)

    You are too generous, Zep.

I see firehead in the forced labor camp crying, “Stupid libs, I’ll get them! God help me get those libs! President Bush, I was loyal to you, please help me! Mommy!”

Now this is really scary -someone please tell them going to a family reunion looking for a date is not a good idea.

What do you expect from the (what is it now, 28-29 percent) Bushie Dead Enders?

And remember, it’s very likely that a certain percentage of them are paid to spin and disrupt forums like this.

Yeah, it’s kinda hard to tell. You almost sounded a bit like firehead-case there for a second.

I have done things in my past that I am not proud of. I have found my peace at long last. Tis an odd thing that somehow thru sin, or breaking of a law that we become ‘good’. I never thought I would cross the paradigm. We have access to wisdom, but we ourselves do not hold it. No man nor woman does.

That then is the key; none have wisdom, none of this planet are truly righteous or wise or smart. Man cannot answer where from he come nor yet how reality works, thousands of years and still the universe eludes us. We smash atoms. Apples at light speed toward one another and hope thru the particles emiited we shall find the answer.

Many think they are ’smart’ or ‘wise’.

    I reiterate.

I do not have wisdom. I have no wisdom.

  110. VerbalKint Says:

Yeah, some of the trolls might be paid, and others are volunteer foot soldiers. Either way, they are party operatives determined to stay on Karl’s message of the day.

  111. paland Says:

I actually had a wingnut tell me that we had to fight them there or fight them here. When I asked how those iraqi’s were going to get here, the idiot actually said they would pile in trains and come. I don’t think the wingnut knew where Iraq was.

    Comment by JPV — March 16, 2007 @ 12:09 am

There is no doubt in my mind this is true.

I don’t know why anyone, for free and on their own accord, would be defending something even Republicans are up in arms over.

Nobody is that cheap -I mean, even whores charge money….

  113. Zooey Says:

I do not have wisdom. I have no wisdom.
    Comment by Zep Tepi

    Respectfully, I disagree.

  114. paland Says:

A month or two ago, I went to Redstate.com and signed up. Once I started posting (acting like a wingnut) I replied to a poster who wondered why Dems picked experienced people for things. He thought that everyone should have a right to any position or job.

So I posted an answer and asked him if he would want brain surgery done on him by an unqualified surgeon, or have an inexperienced General run a war. I said that people get an education for a reason. We hire experience for a reason.

So the next day, I logged on to redstate and got the message that my account had been blocked. Now I thought I was using a decent argument and not being “liberal”, but I guess redstate felt differently. I learned how much conservative sites want to keep their posters in line. No free speech there. And education is NOT a good thing to them.

I am in my 50’s, am a Viet Nam era vet, and thought I would never see something like this in America. It is still shocking to see, even to this day. Fortunately most are starting to see the light, but there is and alway will be those 20-25% who will never accept true freedom. To them, the authority of their God is indisputable.

So I missed a question mark. MS Office 2003 did not spot it either. Since I suffer from cataracts, I missed it as well. Left eye is scheduled the last week of September. #45, let’s hear about your support of a strong executive when a democrat sits in the white house. Arlington is full of people, including members of my family, who gave their lives so that you can whine about how the Constitution they died for “is not a suicide pact”. Coward. In any REAL defense of this nation I sure as shit wouldn’t want you in my squad. How about “Give me liberty or give me death”? How about “Those who would surrender their precious freedom for a little security deserve neither and will lose both”? But then I guess Mr. Franklin was a supporter of al Qaeda too. Moron.

Anyone else catch this in the email from Sampson? Maybe it doesn’t mean much to you, but it burns my brain to think that people who are allowed to make critical decisions in a position that revolves around the use of language can’t figure out the f***ing difference between than and then.

I don’t care if it’s a typo. It’s official business correspondence to the White House. Reread it fer chrissake, you had three days to write it.

It is aimed to stir up conversation and perhaps allow other readers to respond back if they can help make that change possible.

    The address is http://www.DoSomethingBlog.com

I think it would be great to get a comment from alot of you to create additional discussion and thought.
