It has been widely accepted that it is the chimps choice to axe AGs no questions asked.I am amazed though that there is not one wingnut that will own up to the fact that there was a clause in the unpatriot act that allowed these weasels to appoint AGs without congressional confirmation.Too,the wingnuts never mention the fact that these AGs werelet go because they were getting to close to the truth about how corrupt the repugs really are.Must be nice to be able to just ignore the facts. Were you all schooled by Rush" i would'nt know a fact if it bit jumped up and bit me in the ass"Limpdick.Sheesh.

God, what a surrealist thread, with all the cheese amid :D

And, well, british cheeses haven't been very renowned in the cheese's history, and cheddar itself isn't so particular at all, only by the orange coloration of some varieties. Most of the cheese varieties of Spain, France, Italy, Holland, Denmark and some other European varieties have better qualities. Trust me, I know. My father was in the food industry and I've tasted a good couple varieties :)

OT,
Zooey,
Moscow, Idaho is a beautiful place.
My band once played the Blue Mt. Festival there to about 10,000 people. We had a great time, and a producer from Portland, OR. had us come over & spend 2 weeks in a studio recording our original songs.
Gosh, hadn't thought of that gig in many years.
Sorry, folks...back to reality.

Of COURSE Gonzo doesn't use email, that would be evidence. You can't "forget" or deny what was written in an email, like you can when one of your potential scape goats are reporting to you verbally.

One of the things that floors me is how one of the proposed replacements being offered by the Repuglicans in the White House is Michael Jerkoff. You know the head of the Homeland Insecurity Department... Ya there's a good candidate, he's done such a great job "protecting" our country and it's citizens NOT...

The Republican party has been an agent of subversion and treason throughout its history. It has cost Americans millions of lives and uncountable amounts of treasure. It and the rich, the Zionists, the Moonies, the Dixiecrats and numerous other components are guilty of high treason for their vicious undermining of our institutions.

They should all be in prison and under net surveillance for the rest of their lives.

THis is how the White House, Justice Dept, CIA, and the Pentagon work together, sending our children, our soldiers to die, so they can reap billions.

It's high time for a war crimes tribunal to be convened.

"Wilkes was accused of bribing Cunningham and Foggo, who as CIA executive director ran the agency's daily operations, to get contracts for his companies. Wilkes was head of ADCS Inc., which initially converted documents from paper to digital formats for the military and expanded into other information technology services, and two smaller logistics and lobbying firms.

In his plea agreement, Cunningham acknowledged using his position on the defense appropriations subcommittee to get millions of dollars in federal contracts for ADCS.

Foggo, who at one time was the CIA's deputy ethics officer, was charged with conspiracy and money laundering for failing to disclose lavish gifts, meals and trips from Wilkes."

First of all, Democratic subpoena power is proving that the current GOP adminstration is a cess pool of corruption. There are no "innocents" in the White House.

Secondly, No. I am not going to break the windows on your BMWs . . . I am going to bust out the headlights.

There are no e-mails from Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, who reportedly does not use e-mail,

WTF? Does he just write little notes to everyone?
I guess he doesn't want to leave any evidence behind?

That is how attorneys get replaced, properly or inproperly, at the behest of the White House. -Kilo
Hey Kilo, this talking point was debunked repeatedly on the first day that it was brought up. Comment by gorn — March 20, 2007 @ 4:24 am

That is not a talking point. It is how prosecutors get replaced. The Pentagon being involved in the Iraq war is also not a talking point. It is how wars work.

In this post, TP has informed us that the White House was deeply involved in White House business at the White House. You apparently think this is a long debunked claim.

It’s not that it’s outright false, it’s just that it’s simplistic, misleading and irrelevant. Very Rovian.

Yet when I write a post dedicated solely to pointing out that this is simplistic, misleading and irrelevant, and therefore unworthy of taking up half of that quoted article you apparently have a problem with this.

Right wingnuts have roughly the same MO as the mouth breathers that want to teach biblical creation in the science classroom.

This right-winger MO I've diplayed is apparently the old classic: Referring people to homosexual liberal bloggers who write far more insightful and damaging accounts of White House impropriety than was originally offered.
That old right-winger favourite. Yeah.

There are people who actually believe the earth is flat, too (see www.theflatearthsociety.org). The explanation from their FAQ states: “Well, it looks that way up close. ” Brilliant.

Yes, and yet they can still display abilities such as reading, comprehension and in-context communication, which you have failed to achieve here.

Tell you what, how about all you 30-percenters get together and start yourselves a different country, and get the hell out of ours? I vote that we give you Texas. Take Darth and his pet chimp with you.

Yes a Thinkprogress reader has recommended I get the hell out of his country if I want to refer readers to Glenn Greenwald on the topic of law.

You guys must be proud with the kind of community you're fostering here. Real promising.
