Yes, it is time for both Gonzales and McNulty to go. Both are liars and failures. I would like to see Andrew Langer for AG and John Berlau as his deputy. Both have wonderful experience. Berlau is also an expert on prostitution, qualifying him to prosecute other crimes. Langer has political ambitions and this would help him. The only issue I see is that neither is a lawyer but I think Bush can get around that if he wants to.

Come on why does anyone think that right wing radicals like Bill Kristol are so excited by this Attorney General. They want to take Deputy Attorney General Paul McNulty out.

He is the prosecutor for the upcoming AIPAC/ROSEN ESPIONAGE TRIAL COMING UP (IF IT IS NOT DELAYED FOR THE 5TH TIME OR EVEN DISMISSED IF THE IRAELIS FIRSTERS HAVE THEIR WAY).

This is a chess game and they want to cast clouds over the upcoming espionage trial.

Watch Closely.

No one seems to have noticed Ed Meese, neanderthal AG from the Nixon days. He was dusted off and appointed a member of the Iraq Study Group. I guess that qualifies these days as “tan, rested & ready.”

The delicious thing about this whole “kerfluffle” is thinking about the confirmation hearings of each of these toadies Bush might send up to the Hill. Oversight at last!!

Sen Leahy (two fisted rub of head): Judge Pickering, although I appreciate your willingness to appear before this committee, I must tell you that you have little to no chance of being confirmed. What makes you think you are qualified to serve as Attorney General of the United States?

Judge Pickering: Look heah, Eyeam as qualeefied as any other inbred Southern gentleman. Eye take ekcepshun to your comments, suh!

Sen Leahy(with exasperation): Have you at long last resigned from the CCC, the Conservative Citizens Council Judge Pickering? Isn’t it little more than the KkK in a suit and tie?

Judge Pickering: How dare you attempt to malign the outstanding civic and community service done by the CCC. Resign? On the contrary, Eyeam proud to be a member and to serve as nashnal preznit of the CCC.

Sen Leahy: Do you have any African-American or Jewish members?

Judge Pickering: (Laughing) Now we at the CCC believe in privusee, but I guess it won’t harm anythang if I tell you that Clarence Thomas is one of our most distinguished members (winking roguishly). Where’s Joe?

They’re all good at getting it done when the tides with them. Waxman is a good man. Biden and Kennedy can get aggressive to. And they don’t want to be under oath on camera in front of Ben Veniste.

But in general, I am just saying I think the circumstances right now outweigh the wimpiness factor of the democrats. There is so much corruption scandal that has been made public, and with the approval of the President all but gone, its going to be impossible to avoid.

Raymond makes a valid point. If the Attorney General resigns in the midst of this scandal, then the focus will be forced to turn on Bush. Its inevitable.

And since Gonzales is going to be forced to step down, because he doesn’t have the support of the GOP, then that means we are seeing the beginning of the end for the Bush administration.

Well, I’m with you there. With spineless leaders like Nancy “Impeachment’s off the table” Pelosi its hard to imagine them doing anything right.

But times are changing, and far too much information is coming out. We have a new Bush scandal almost daily now, and signs of corruption are everywhere. Guys like Chuck Schummer CAN get the job done in the right circumstances.

These are the right circumstances.

With a Democrat congress standing between his nominee and confirmation and given his administration is under the microscope at the moment, I suspect Bush will be forced to find a candidate who at least appears independent.
