“Gonzales’ legacy at the (Justice Department) has been one of misplaced priorities, political miscalculation, and a failure to enforce the laws which he has sworn to uphold,” Rep. Tom Tancredo (R-CO) said in a statement. “I think that it is time for him to move on.”
Tancredo is a racist.
March 20th, 2007 at 5:00 pmHe should leave. The Dems won’t rest if the repugs keep appointing minorities to positions of power. Come on Bush, get rid of Gonzo and Rice. Appoint 2 old crusty white men so the Dems world can get back to normal again. They can go back to saying they are “the party for minorities” and that they are fighting to provide minorities an even playing field. lol
March 20th, 2007 at 5:00 pmYes, Tancredo is indeed a racist, Jake, or at least a race baiter. What’s your point?
March 20th, 2007 at 5:02 pmGod help me, I agree with Tancredo. Now excuse me while I go floss, gargle and dip myself in boric acid.
March 20th, 2007 at 5:03 pmLet me make your point for you, Jake. Gonzo is out. Rove is on the hotseat. Things start getting real ugly for your guys.
March 20th, 2007 at 5:03 pmWhile I agree with Tancredo on Gonzales resigning, I wish Tancredo would follow Gonzales as he leaves.
“Roger_Roger”=”Idiot_Idiot”
March 20th, 2007 at 5:04 pmHoly crap, Jake said something true, even if he was being facetious, this is a watershed moment.
This calls for an extra serving of goat phallus!
March 20th, 2007 at 5:04 pmThe sooner , the better for the republicans. They need this discussion to stop or none of them will be reelected. What they do not see is the fact, that there are many more “something-gates” waiting. This administration is so corrupt, it takes three to four days for the next scandal to evolve. If there are honest conservatives out there, they should help to impeach this president and get a new start.
March 20th, 2007 at 5:05 pmMove on, move on… there’s nothing to see here, folks. If you’ve seen one limp dick get raped by a fellow Republican wank. you’ve seen them all. Move on…
March 20th, 2007 at 5:06 pmMy point is that I am dismissing out of hand Tancredo’s call for Gonzales to resign.
March 20th, 2007 at 5:07 pmWhat a strange chain of command where the US Attorney General reports to a slimy shit like Karl Rove. And Bush wonders why his approval rating is hovering around 30% Tancredo, as much as an ass he is, knows that through the US Atty scandal and Gonzales, Rove has single-handedly destroyed the Republican Party and it will be impossible to be elected as a Republican in 2008.
March 20th, 2007 at 5:08 pm#1- Did you say racist, or rapist? For me to say, “Yeah. But it’s all pink on the inside”, depends on what YOU said. Why me laugh?
March 20th, 2007 at 5:09 pm#1 Jake,
More accurately, Tancredo is a republican racist. I understand the omission though as it is, unfortunately, a redundancy. Another redundancy, however, would be to point out that Tancredo is also a republican liar and his motives are therefore suspect.
March 20th, 2007 at 5:09 pmTancredo is a racist.
Comment by Jake
As are most people with an (R) next to their name.
Your point?
Funny that the Repukes you support are calling for Gonzo to resign, while the Democrats are trying to gather evidence and call witnesses to get to the bottom of the issues.
March 20th, 2007 at 5:09 pmTacredo-now he ranks right up there with, oh, lets say Congressman Virgil Goode.
March 20th, 2007 at 5:10 pm10. Is that “independent” Jake speaking or the “GOP sock-puppet talking point repeating” Jake making this comment? You realize you are watching the Republican Party implode, don’t you?
March 20th, 2007 at 5:10 pmAnd this comes from his side of the aisle.
Good point doro. I’ve suggesting that for awhile. True conservatives have been pushed aside by this admin and within there own party.
“….misplaced priorities, political miscalculation, and a failure to enforce the laws which he has sworn to uphold”. That’s a smack down.
March 20th, 2007 at 5:10 pmHow about a real crime.
Washington: Republicans Call For Inquiry In Documents Case (Hunter Hunting Sandy Burglar)
NY Times ^ | 10/12/06 | staff
March 20th, 2007 at 5:11 pmTen House Republicans called for a Congressional investigation into the improper handling of classified documents by President Bill Clinton’s national security adviser, Samuel R. Berger. Mr. Berger admitted last year that he deliberately took classified documents out of the National Archives in 2003 and destroyed some of them. After his guilty plea, he was fined $50,000. The Republican lawmakers asked the House Government Reform Committee to determine whether any documents were missing from Clinton administration terrorism records, to review security measures for classified documents and to seek testimony from Mr. Berger. The group is led by Representatives Duncan Hunter, chairman…
i would dismiss just about anything he says out of hand, Jake
March 20th, 2007 at 5:11 pm#2 R2,
Non sequitur much?
March 20th, 2007 at 5:11 pmDung_Dung
Actually, true progressives don’t care about the color of your skin, your ethnicity, your sexual identity, or any other dimension of your humanity. If you don’t measure up to your job as a public servant, you get criticized.
March 20th, 2007 at 5:12 pmWhat issues?
March 20th, 2007 at 5:12 pmMy point is that I am dismissing out of hand Tancredo’s call for Gonzales to resign.
Comment by Jake
As you have with each Repuke that has called for him to resign.
You really do have a Bush “for us or against us ” mentality, i’ll say that for you.
What’s it up to now 6? 7?
March 20th, 2007 at 5:13 pmTancredo is a one-trick pony led by a mule. His re-election here in CO was a joke and only the hard right paranoids follow him. His entire career is based on xenophobia and he is a worthless representative, otherwise. Whatever he says is said to save his own ass.
March 20th, 2007 at 5:13 pmOh, my little troll friend, patrick, you are working so hard to keep that “1″ rating aren’t you. Unfortunately, you have been repeating yourself so often that I can only hear the robotic “Clinton”, “Sandy Berger”, “Clinton” refrain. You have rapidly slipped from the “1″ rating to a “5″ at best. Come on, you’re not going to let the others be more obtuse or ridiculous than you, are you?
March 20th, 2007 at 5:18 pmReal progressives may not care about your skin color but moonbat liberals, that is all they care about.
March 20th, 2007 at 5:18 pm“Duncan Hunter, chairman…”
troll nostalgia
March 20th, 2007 at 5:18 pmThe wheels are falling of the GOP cart and you want to bring up Sandy Berger? So Sandy Berger is a thief and we’re supposed give Gonzales and Rove a pass? About now, Rove and Gonzales would each trade a nut for a $50,000 fine. Things don’t look good, Patrick1. Hell, even an unprincipled shit like Tancredo is throwing Gonzales under the bus.
March 20th, 2007 at 5:19 pmTancredo thinks Gonzales (Hispanic) should move on…what about Rove you Racist bigot?
March 20th, 2007 at 5:20 pmTh Whitey-house is acting just like Tricky Dick Nixon in the 70’s when e was caught red-handed.
Crooks all behave shifty and shady.
As to Rove not testilying under oath, I’ll use my favorite wrong-wing talking point. If they have nothing to hide.
-GSD
March 20th, 2007 at 5:21 pmAnother rat jumps ship.
March 20th, 2007 at 5:21 pmHow about a real crime.
OK, where is it?
Oh, that? That’s a joke. You know, like the one in your pants?
It’s over. The age of your source shows that.
March 20th, 2007 at 5:22 pm.
Here in Colorado, everybody HATES Tom Tancretin…except the Repuke cretins who voted for him. He’s in a very redneck district.
He and Marilyn Mooseface are idiots and make Colorado look bad.
But even a broken clock is right twice a day, and Tancretin is right about Alberto “Torquemada” Gonzales. He’s gotta go.
March 20th, 2007 at 5:22 pmnow this is funny stuff. ol’ uncle tom cretin has a little splainin’ to do doesn’t he? take a look at his involvement in immigration issues and his name is going to be one that they find having played with the USA’s and the “where’s the immigration trials” part of the firings.
March 20th, 2007 at 5:23 pmdon’t you thinks?
Somebody report Jake immediately to the Republican National Committee.
He’s obviously off his KoolAid if he’s criticizing a Repuke like Tancretin.
They’re probably going to have to hold Jake down and give him a KoolAid enema.
Oh, Yeah!!
March 20th, 2007 at 5:23 pmAny of you guys ever visit Truthbusters? They have all these paltry non-issues of MSM liberal bias to tout, and while some will engage in discussion, most are your typical Floyd’s Barbershop types. I’m sure it will humor you if you visit there- but don’t go for the haircut, they only have one style.
March 20th, 2007 at 5:24 pmReal progressives may not care about your skin color but moonbat liberals, that is all they care about.
Comment by Patrick1
Oh, now I’ve got the definition! A “moonbat liberal” is code for a Hollywood make-up artist. I love learning.
March 20th, 2007 at 5:25 pmThe ignorant inbred Repukes in here are so stupid it is entertaining.
They love to categorize the Left in monolithic terms…it just shows how little they actually know about the left.
It is obvious in here and elsewhere in Blogland that lefties are not all the same. We argue with each other almost as much as we beat up the Repukes. And that’s okay, that is what democracy is all about.
But the Repukes, they think we all read Mao and love Osama. They’re so stupid it is hilarious.
March 20th, 2007 at 5:26 pmJake phases out, Patrick1 phases in. It almost looks like you guys have shifts. This can’t really be fun for you.
March 20th, 2007 at 5:27 pmJeez, a Repuke troll is suggesting that because the Dems, and a lot of Repukes, want Alberto “Tio TAco” Gonzales out, and want Rice out, that the Dems are all racists.
What a load of bull.
They’re really desperate to reach for that kind of spin.
LOL!!

Wow, destroying a *photocopy*, what will happen next, delete a spam email?
You’re an idiot, you retarded fool.
March 20th, 2007 at 5:29 pmI thought this was pretty eye opening…
All of these cases share a similarity. They all are Republicans involved in sex crimes with children. The ones in red are crimes involving children of the same sex. Now we add to this list Mark Foley.
I think this list is telling enough, but something else comes to mind. The radical-right and Republicans use the very crimes they have committed as a reason to stop gay marriage. Now ask yourself this. When was the last time you heard of a Democrat, who was afraid to admit he was gay, being involved in child pornography? You haven’t. That is because they are allowed to live open lives and seek actual companionship, instead of sneaking around to get their rocks off.
I have not been able to find a comprehensive list like this involving Democrats. I have a feeling this is so because the size of the list would suffer in comparison.
I am not saying that every Republican is some sick, perverted freak hiding out there amongst the midst. There is however a very evident trend here that can not be ignored. These are the same people that run campaigns on “family values” and “Christian values”. Is this list an example of these values? If it is, then voters really need to ask themselves if this is the values they want for their family and country.
Like I said, this list speaks for itself. We must make sure we get the word out to voters that there is a dangerous trend here, and that trend was allowed to continue this past year because the Republican leadership in the House ignored warnings about one of their colleagues being involved in the same type of crimes.
The above is based on this site…

A real conservative may care about your skin color, but a right wingnut only cares if he can use your skin color to gain political advantage for himself long enough to fcuk you.

BOFFO!
March 20th, 2007 at 5:31 pmYou can always tell when the Repukes are really desperate.
They dig up Clinton.
It’s a last-ditch failing effort for them to justify, in their own little twisted minds, why their beloved Chimp and his thugs are crooks.
“But Clinton Did It Too!”, they whine.
Two wrongs don’t make a right…especially in a courtroom.
You lose, Repukes.
March 20th, 2007 at 5:33 pmNotice how bad it is for the Repuke trolls in here today.
They’ve even had to concede that Gonzales has to go.
LOL! I love it when the Repukes get kicked in the balls.
It is hilarious every single time, it never gets old.
March 20th, 2007 at 5:35 pmMOVE ON?
Straight to PRISON!
You don’t destroy an entire country and simply get away with it.
Move on?

March 20th, 2007 at 5:41 pmYou can’t do much with death and taxes…
…But you can hit trolls over the head with a big mallet.
March 20th, 2007 at 5:48 pmOuch.
March 20th, 2007 at 5:59 pmVICE PRESIDENT GONZALEZ?
March 20th, 2007 at 9:28 pmI forget the details — if Cheney resigns for medical reasons and Dubya appoints Gonzalez to replace him, is Senate confirmation required, or can he just be shoehorned in?
Racist SOB. Tancredo needs to move on.
March 20th, 2007 at 9:45 pm“BRAVE” Tom Tancredo IS JUST DOING HIS RACIST-JINGOISTIC JOB IN PREPARATION FOR HIS 2008 PREZ BID–GETTING RID OF THE “ILLEGAL ALIEN” GONZO AND TELLING HIM TO GO BACK TO WHERE HE CAME FROM—-I HAVENO PITY FOR EITHER OF THESE VILE CREEPS—-BOTH Tancredo and GONZO!!!!!
March 20th, 2007 at 11:48 pmThe Party of Bush and the minions of King George the Incompetent will claim that there is an “executive privilege” that will withstand a subpoena from John Conyers committee or Patrick Leahy’s. They are wrong. To see the analysis, visit “The Pleasure of the President” at the Schapira blog, “What we know so far …”
“… and tell ‘em Big Mitch sent ya!”
March 21st, 2007 at 3:39 amAs a Coloradan, what amazes me is that Tancredo can call for Gonzales’ resignation but Ken Salazar (our Democaratic Senator) can’t seem to do it yet.
