In an interview tonight, NBC News’ Pete Williams asked Attorney General Alberto Gonzales a simple question: “Can you be certain that none of these U.S. Attorneys were put on that list [to be fired] for improper reasons?”
Gonzales wouldn’t give a straight answer, and in fact left open the possibility that attorneys were fired for partisan politics. “If I find out that, in fact, any of these decisions were motivated, the recommendations to me were motivated for improper reasons to interfere with the public corruption case, there will be swift and — there will be swift and decisive action. I can assure you that.”
Gonzales also suggested that other evidence of his personal involvement in the firings may come to light. “[T]here may have been other conversations [I had] about specifically about the performance of US attorneys” that I don’t remember, he said.
Watch it:
Gonzales bemoaned critics who are questioning his credibility. “Let me begin with the attacks on my credibility, which really have pained me and my family. You know, I have grown up — I grew up with nothing but my integrity.” This coming from a man whose early career as counsel to then-Gov. George W. Bush included helping to get Bush excused from jury duty, “a situation that could have required the governor to disclose his then-secret 1976 conviction for drunken driving in Maine.”

March 26th, 2007 at 9:28 pmIt's a shame we can't trust the plea since bush admits to torturing people. We're really not safe, any of ius.
I doubt that the lying bastard can "remember' what credibility is.
The "Twinkie" defense was bad enough but the "I don't remember" defense is scraping the bottom of the barrel. They did help themselves just as Tricky Dick did: they can forget just as soon as they destroy the record.
March 26th, 2007 at 9:29 pmUnder Bush's Military Commissions Act, the only appeals allowed are to challenge procedural due process. No appeals are permissible regarding evidentiary rulings, including the admission of evidence elicited under torture. Presumably, if a guilty plea was obtained as a result of torture, that evidence would be barred from being heard on appeal.
Welcome to America, the land of the free, where we can torture someone into pleading guilty, then sentence him or her to life in prison, or death.
March 26th, 2007 at 9:31 pmwhat a patsy. imagine him trying to turn this around on Rove? that would make for nice blood sport for sure.

Actually, with bush as his client, he had a duty to protect him, and this could justifiably include protecting him from having to disclose the drunk driving conviction.
From a lawyerly standpoint, he had a duty to his client, and arguably could be said to have low integrity if he *didn't* get bush out of jury duty.
But he's still a scum bag.

This admission makes him appear even more inept and unqualified to be Attorney General than even the now more obvious complicity in the wrongdoing in his own department.

March 26th, 2007 at 10:24 pmThese guys just never stop lowering the bar. The new talking point is "if someone tried to interfere with a public corruption case there will be action." Of course if someone just tried to, say, bring bogus charges against Democrats or purge minority voters or just let investigations against Republicans die on the vine, then hey no foul! There is only one crime that counts and its the one they didn't commit. (except for in Guam and elsewhere, but that doesn't count.) All other "crimes" are just politics as normal.

March 26th, 2007 at 11:26 pmNow comes the race card defense. David Iglesias is a minority who worked his way up to and was illegally fired by Gonzo. I guess the race card only works with Bushies when needed. Since Gonzo has been AG he can't remember about his family roots but now he uses their hardship. Like most criminals next he'll say he was abused as a child or he worked the fields and walk up hill 20 miles to school. Save the sorry story for the movie. Gonzo lied and worked with Rove to set up a system to brake the law. Now I wonder how he will explain why he and his deputy didn't file charges again officers in a Texas boy camp as the officers were rapping the kids. Yes proof of the rapes but Gonzo wouldn't charge anyone. Didn't he say he was going to protect the kids. I guess he's like Fingers Foley and uses the system to abuse kids as his follow GOP sit back and do nothing.
March 26th, 2007 at 11:31 pmThe child abuse goes all the way to the top. It always does in power structures - the same kind of sickos who like to abuse children, like to abuse power in any situation.
March 26th, 2007 at 11:42 pmMexico has been working on a case involving a GOVERNOR who is under investigation for participating in a child abduction and abuse case.

March 26th, 2007 at 11:49 pmFor any lurkers out there, the Federalist Society is a legitimate student organization that challenged the perceived orthodox American liberal ideology found in most law schools. The Federalist Society states that it is founded on the principles that "the state exists to preserve freedom," that "the separation of governmental powers is central to our Constitution," and that the duty of the judicial branch is "to say what the law is, not what the law should be."
The Society currently has chapters at approximately 180 United States law schools, including all of those U.S. News & World Report ranks among the top 20. The Society also boasts a membership of over 20,000 practicing attorneys (organized as "alumni chapters" within the Society's "Lawyers Division") in sixty cities. The Federalist Society serves as a parent organization for conservatives and libertarians who are interested in the current state of the legal order.

As the Society grew in influence, it grew in wealth. A year after founding the first student chapters in 1982 at Yale and University of Chicago law schools, student leaders received $25,000 for their first national symposium, the seed money coming from the Institute for Educational Affairs, overseen by the influential neoconservatives William Simon and Irving Kristol. By 1998, the annual contribution total had soared a hundredfold to $2,600,000-

Gonzales uses his 'hardship' like a shield. Hardship doesn't have some intrinsic property or magical powers that elevate the holder to sainthood. If the were the case, Gonzo's 'hardships' would have taught him not to be kiss ass and take responsibility for his decisions.
Gonzo should petition Harvard Law for a full refund of his tuition, as the institution clearly failed to teach him anything about the law.

All except the word "legitimate", Jake added that to address the *credibility* issue of himself, the organization, and Justice Roberts. But then again, what CON doesn't have a "credibility-gap"?

Gonzales also vetted clemency petitions from the condemned and offered recommendations to Gov. Bush. No mercy. 152 were executed. Odell Barnes was actually innocent. Bush wouldn't listen. The Pope asked Gov.Bush to show mercy in some cases and grant a life sentence.

March 27th, 2007 at 12:18 amAlberto Gonzales is a LIAR.
March 27th, 2007 at 12:20 amAs always, I can tell you what made Jake what he is today:
He worked as a crash dummy for the NASA Rocket Sled program.
After each run they would scrape his brains off of the base of the sled into a bucket, turn him upside down, put a funnel into each nostril and pour them back in.
He still sloshes when he nods or shakes his head.
Every once in a while, the air relief valve at the back of his head malfunctions and a little grey matter drips out. Of late, no one notices any difference when that occurs. This phenomena has not occurred since November, 2006.
Jake’s golden retriever has entered some posts when he (Jake, not the dog) passes out. On those occasions, the posts seem more rational, hence the apparent schizoid behavior.
Jake recently had a brain scan - they found nothing.
March 27th, 2007 at 12:20 amWhat does any *lurker* really need to know about the Federalist Society? They believe that the government doesn't have the right to regulate the water, land and air quality. That's right folks. Jake and his friends believe that Corporations should have the right to poison Americans, and then prevent civil suits through their *tort-reform*. Jake and friends at the Federalist Society are about as Anti-American and anti-sane as any Al Qaeda terrorist. They just prefer to murder your children with dirty water, air and dangerous products. Let me guess Jake, you're a proud member of this *baby-killing* crew of lawyers?
Just look up "American Trucking v. EPA" to see one of their first *major* victories against the American public. They're the same people helping to fight the regulation of the Chemical industry - that would protect it from terrorist attacks. Tell me Jake, how long have you known you were a terrorist?
March 27th, 2007 at 12:22 amJake, with those statistics, I'd say the Federalist Society is simply inconsequential. I'd also suggest you take another look at the word liberal. Liberal dogma specifies that the state is to play hands-off with regards to economic regulation, a practice defined by the phrase laissez faire. If you have trouble with understanding that, I suggest you spend a few minutes reading an encyclopediashibboleth.
This is a progressive site, Jake, not a liberal site. Progressives recognize the existence of a commonwealth -- liberals/libertarians do not. Progressives believe that everyone has a stake in the commonwealth -- liberals/libertarians believe you get to keep everything you can steal. Progressives believe that society should reflect principles of compassion and respect for the value of each individual, regardless of wealth or social standing -- liberals/libertarians care about themselves and their friends and couldn't give a rat's a$$hole about those who do not fit into their little groups.
That pretty much makes you and George and Gonzo a liberal. Isn't it a shame to wake up and realize that you've been had?
Liberals/libertarians cannot be Christians, Jake. Liberals/libertarians cannot be Muslims, Jake. Liberals/libertarians can only be Pharisees.
Wake up and smell the coffee.
March 27th, 2007 at 12:25 am#124 I am sure Jakey would be surprised to know that the Federalist Society is just as extremist as he is.

March 27th, 2007 at 12:57 amRe: The Federalist Society:
Comment by Jake — March 26, 2007 @ 11:50 pm
As the body of law grew in the land of our forebearers in law, England, there came to be recognized that there is more to justice than just the King's law. And there arose the Courts of Equity, to do that which is right, whether or not proscribed by the law...that is, to say what the law ought to be. And thus was born the Common Law.
This was recognized in the 7th Amendment to the United States Constitution, "In suits at common law...the right to trial by jury shall be preserved, and no fact tried by a jury, shall be otherwise reexamined in any Court of the United States, than according to the rules of the common law."
From the Federalist Society webpage:
I agree with the concepts of preserving freedom and the separation of governmental powers. However, I do not believe in the constraint placed upon the judicial branch, making it subservient to the other two.
If the law says a man is property, should the courts uphold that law? The Supreme Court did.
If the law says a black child and a white child cannot attend the same school, should the courts uphold that law? The Supreme Court did.
If the law says all people of a certain descent should be rounded up and placed into concentration camps, because we are at war, should the courts uphold that law? The Supreme Court did.
Years - decades later, the Supreme Court said it was wrong, and overturned those, and other, decisions. The law didn't change. But in hindsight, the Supreme Court gained the perspective to understand that the law was wrong and must be changed.
It is for that reason, for a truly independent judiciary, that I am not a member of the Federalist Society. And this whole episode with the politicization of the United States Attorneys General is another poignant reminder that those who serve the President instead of the Constitution do grievous damage to liberty, and justice.
Our government is made up of men and women, subject to all the temptations this world has to offer. Our Constitution is made up of ideas and ideals, set upon parchment, not stone, so that it may change and grow with this nation, using as its polestar the trust and belief in the people to govern themselves, not to be led as sheep, but to form the body politic wherein all peoples are created equal, and as such, deserve equity in liberty, justice, and opportunity.

To understand that, I was a Cub Scout and we used scallion skins to align the wheels of our matchbox derby cars. They were thin (less than a thousandth of an inch), natural and stable in water based resins (Bone glue (casein) in my time).
"liberals/libertarians believe you get to keep everything you can steal." --stonehinge
That's nonsense.
Liberal, "broad-minded, esp. not bound by authoritarianism, orthodoxy, or traditional forms."
You are using the economic usage, which is not what we mean when we use the word.
Liberalism: "A political philosophy based on belief in progress, the essential goodness of the human race, and the autonomy of the individual and standing for the protection of political and civil liberties."
Progressivism is a form of liberalism in almost every case.

"Could have" might as well be, "this paranoid idea comes from my big brown eye".
March 27th, 2007 at 1:32 amAfter hearing Gonzo's so called explanation it back fired. Every time he speaks he gets deeper in the lie. What was interesting is after watching Bud Cummins, David Iglesias and John McKay they are smarter then Al Gonzales. Al can't get the new lies right and he goes deeper in the old lies. Monica Goodling is doing the right thing by taking the 5th so she wont go to jail for perjury. Rove and Miers should do the same.
March 27th, 2007 at 1:47 amWho's going to protect the children as Fingers Foley had the job of protecting the kids while abusing them now Gonzales wont charge officers who molest children in Texas. Now are all the government protectors of kids abusing them?
Paul in LA,
I'm sorry, but it is time to clean out the stables, and the fastest way to do that is to fight back against the Newspeak. If you follow the link that I left, the one under encyclopedia, you will find that Liberal was never used in the sense you give until FDR twisted the meaning to cover the fact that his policies were blatantly socialistic, a word which was and still is strictly forbidden in the USA. This twisting, this artificial separation of economic thought from socio-political thought, is a major contributor to the power of the oligarchy today.
If you will think through this a bit, and spend a minute learning about the history of politics, I think you will see that we have an opportunity here to fight back against the Limbaughs and Coulters via the power of scorn and humiliation, buttressed by a superior understanding of political history. If you don't want to go that way, fine, but understand that what I have said is rigorously correct. And understand that this is the reason this is a Progressive site, not a Liberal site. The owners and editors certainly understand the reason they chose that description.
Perhaps we should discuss this in more detail. I'll look to see if you reply. Thanks for extending the discussion.

Except, perhaps, being insulted by the same dittohead while he complains about the smears as he fully embraces Coulter-style "punditry".
March 27th, 2007 at 2:13 amYes Gregor, it surely takes a robot to come up with a list like that. I especially want to congratulate TP for unwinding that drunken driving charge. And what is really interesting is Gonzo's interpretation of the Vienna Convention, for it is that kind of fraud which seems to define how Gonzo views the law...a recurring "signature" of this administrations headlong rush into fascism.
March 27th, 2007 at 2:34 amThis administration has mislead the American public time after time. we must put them under oath and hold them accountable for their lies. never forget how they used fear, uncertainty, and doubt to lead the American people into the worst foreign policy mistake in this nations history

Bush pledge on CIA leak, Sept 30, 2003:

For the simple price of your soul and your birthright as a citizen in a democracy under a Constitution and rule of law, you, too, can lie your stinking head off, day after day, each day's lie contradicting the lie of the day before. And you know what? The mainstream media will ignore it! The corporate owned whores in Congress will ignore it? And our soldiers will die in Iraq. 20% of our citizens will continue with no health insurance. And the police and all the intelligence agencies will be spying on your every word, your every financial activity. We don't need no stinkin' warrants. We don't need no stinkin' habeas corpus. We have our beloved leader Bush, and his dark master Darth Cheney.

March 27th, 2007 at 8:28 amGonzales has NO integrity ever since he tied into the criminal Bush family. His next ploy will be to say he grew up as a dirt poor Mexican boy and the press is being bigoted towards him.
March 27th, 2007 at 8:32 amIs it possible to "Find Out" something you already know for a fact?
March 27th, 2007 at 8:37 amGee, I hope that the voices in his head will soon inform him of his actions! Geez....what's going on here? What do we have as an Attorney General? He may FIND OUT that he was involved but doesn't KNOW right now if he was. What's up with that?
He's evidently "waiting" to be told what to say.....just as he has been from the start. He's a sycophantic "yesman" to Bush from 1976 and the DUI, that's evident. Now the people are discovering precisely what kind of 'stoolie' we really have in one of the most prestigious positions in the country.
Any wonder why the rest of the world is laughing at the US? Any wonder why even americans are laughing at this administration of smoke & mirrors? It's the new "comedy central" - Bush's white house.
March 27th, 2007 at 8:40 amIt's beginning to also be evident that Karl Rove-Reich's "perfect dream" is coming to fruition as the "nightmare on K Street" and the "Fall of the House of Bush". There will be so many books & movies coming down the pike. Bush has been pure fodder for the comedy skits - that's about all he's been, as it turns out.
March 27th, 2007 at 8:42 am#164 In George Orwell's 1984, all traditional definitions of words were reversed...that's what's happening in Bush's Administration...case in point, Bush's "Clean Air Act" which enabled polluters...and the list goes on. The people are just catching on to the chicanery which has been occurring over the past 6 years.
Yes, it was also evident from seeing Gonzales "in action" during hearings that his synaptic activity in his brain isn't occurring at the normal speed - I'd say that he may even be a bit mentally compromised by the quality and the content of his speech. Clearly, ANY attorney in the DOJ is "smarter than" Gonzales. It was very frightening to realize that this buffoon was placed in charge of the criminal justice system with only a cursory handle on the english language and an obviously handicapped mentality.
March 27th, 2007 at 8:46 am#173 Michael C: Don't you just love the hypocrisy of Bush's statements. Chalk that up to just a typical day in the life of a lying, corrupt president. He's lied so many times he makes Clinton's singular lie look like child's play - hah! When the states move toward impeachment, all of these lies and contradictory statements will be brought to the fore and he will be held accountable for his lies....unfortunately, the most significant lie had to do with the death of now 3,200 innocent patriots who were sent to fight for a war that was illegally based on Bush's lies......about AQ....about WMD....about 911.
March 27th, 2007 at 8:49 amThe cabinet post of Attorney General needs to be removed from under the authority of the president. Nixon used the position for a yes man stooge and Bush Junior has done the same thing. Attorney General should become an elected position or appointed by the Congress like Supreme Court Justices. NO more Gonzales flunkies!
March 27th, 2007 at 8:57 am#98 Jake said:
For any lurkers out there, the Federalist Society is a legitimate student organization that challenged the perceived orthodox American liberal ideology found in most law schools. The Federalist Society states that it is founded on the principles that “the state exists to preserve freedom,†that “the separation of governmental powers is central to our Constitution,†and that the duty of the judicial branch is “to say what the law is, not what the law should be.â€
And they're also in favour of cute little puppies and motherhood and the American Way, and deeply mourn the recent death of Captain America.
As far as saying "say[ing] what the law is, not what the law should be", that would be Boalt Hall perfessor (and advisor to the Federalist Society student chapter) John Yoo and his cute little memos on why torture is OK.
Clarence Thomas will not take any clerks that aren't FS, and the FS was in up to its eyeballs in the Starr witch hunt.
Strangely enough (actually not so strange, given Republican frothing nowadays about "supporting the troops" by getting them killed or wounded [if they're lucky enough to survive] only to be warehoused in mildewed, roach-infested dumps), the Federalist Society sports a profile on James Madison on their masthead. Madison would have been appalled at their hijinks. If anything, the FS is most closely aligned with the anti-Federalists that were fighting Madison during the constitutional conventions. And their most recent forbearers are the RW racist "states's rights!" folks like Strom Thurmond (who helped get Kenny Boy Starr apponted when the Republican Fiske had too much honour to do their dirty work). To these people, words and symbols are only tools; not to be honoured but to be used in any way possiblem even dishonestly.
That's your Federalist Society. Orwell knew their type.
Cheers,
March 27th, 2007 at 9:00 amWhen he was sworn in as Attorney General, Alberto Gonzales took an oath to protect and defend George W. Bush. Now it's time to pay the piper.
March 27th, 2007 at 9:01 amAnother day. Another Bush administration lie
March 27th, 2007 at 9:02 amA party can request a hearing (in federal or state court) to examine whether the party invoking the Fifth has done so properly. Goodling's attorney's letter does not provide a valid basis for invoking the Fifth. You can't invoke the Fifth to avoid perjury charges (or obstructing justice with the selfsame testimony). (I have the cases here, if you want them.) You can't invoke the Fifth because you think the Committee is on a witch hunt. Etc.
They shouldn't let Goodling get away with this. She either is refusing to providing testimony because she may be testifying about some crime she has previously committed (which is a valid reason for taking the Fifth) or she isn't. If she is, and a Judge so determines, then fine (and goodbye to her attorney's ridiculous GOP talking points), and if she isn't, she should be compelled to testify under subpoena.
The funny thing is she may be obstructing justice (protecting others) by refusing to testify under a bogus claim of needing to take the Fifth.
snip
Just watching this from the outside, it looks as though that is the bad act she's afraid to testify about or -- and somehow I find this more believeable -- she's afraid of indictment for perjury because she has to go up to Congress and testify under oath before the White House has decided what its story is. And yeah, I'd feel like I was in jeopardy then too.

excellent point. The reasons for "taking the 5th" must be bona fide.
March 27th, 2007 at 9:17 amThey can't ever recall anything can they? Notice the creepy smile. Bush gets the same smile when he's lying.
March 27th, 2007 at 9:26 amteak:
Can you "recall" what you think Bush's most blatant "lie" is?
March 27th, 2007 at 9:59 amIncredible, Libeals crying about a Republican supposedly not having integrity.
You idiots certainly defended your god Clinton when it was finally brought to light that he has no integrity. The media even tried to help this pathetic fool by claiming that there are many occassions where it is ok to lie and deceive.
your poor liberals, whine all you want, but if you think Americans don't see your hypocrisy you are sadly mistaken.
Jay Randal, and don't forget that Carter and Clinton also used it for their political purpose. Take off the partisan glasses.
March 27th, 2007 at 10:03 amI would like a Democrat to explain why was it that the Democrat politicians went crazy, I mean crazy when the Executive Branch started investigating Congressman (D) William Jefferson from New Orleans. It was Pelosi, Kennedy, Murtha, Kerry, etc, etc, etc (you know the usual Democrat suspects) who screamed and cried seperations of power, even the media and the liberal blogs, cough, cough Thinkprogress.org and others claimed that it was a seperations of powers issue.
Now the tables are turned and all the same people that defended super, duper corrupt William Jefferson and called on seperations of powers to stop the FBI from investigating him are the ones that claim seperations of powers do not exist.
why the hypocrisy liberals and Democrats, why?
March 27th, 2007 at 10:10 am[...] missed a lot of the more ridiculous statements Alberto Gonzales made last night as I watched his laughably disingenuous interview on NBC Nightly News because, like any other time I see him speak on television, I can’t shake [...]
March 27th, 2007 at 10:11 amteak....I take it you were too young to remember when Clinton said over 200 times in his testimonies....
"I can't recall".
once again, what is good for Democrats it is good for Republicans.

March 27th, 2007 at 10:16 amAhhh, I love the smell of irony and hypocrisy in the morning. To have a sycophantic whore lecture us on partisanship is truly ironic. The trolls swarm at the behest of the queen ant KKKarl to defend the Bush administration and they dutifully obey. One little whiff of the pheremone from KKKarl's anus and they stand ready!
Did you legally change your name howsad, or was your Mommy prescient?
March 27th, 2007 at 10:17 amI hate to tell you that Clinton is loved all over the world and Old Bush is hated all over the world especially the USA. Old Bush has done nothing good for the world.
March 27th, 2007 at 10:26 amnanlichi,
the only irony and hypocrisy is coming from the left and liberals. It is you liberals who in 1990s defended the actions of your god Clinton, who supported him when he said, "I can't recall." you guys supported him when he invoked Executive Privilages. Most of you also claimed that if it was a Republican in the White House you would do the same.
Now, yes, the tables are turned and the Democrats in Congress want revenge for the 1990s and on and they have grabbed on to a non-story which the media and the Democrats are pushing.
both parties are being hypocrites, BOTH! the only partisan morons that I see is you and your liberal cohorts.
Democrats decried the tactics used by the Republicans in the 1990s and vowed not to use them against Republicans.
so much for expecting Democrats to keep their words.
anyway, I guarantee you that this is NOT going to go anywhere and the Karl Rove will never testify under oath.
Democrats are playing a dangerous political game here and if they lose, God help them.
but it is amusing to see how obssesed and hateful you liberals are towards Karl Rove.
your poor libbies, careful the boogey man is going to get you, Karl Rove is after you. He is actually reading your posts right now, stop typing, stop, Rove will send his military after you.
you poor paranoid liberals.
March 27th, 2007 at 10:26 amFor the lurkers, keep in mind that Adolph Hitler was "loved" all over Germany before WWII -- so we know that's not always a valid measurement.
March 27th, 2007 at 10:29 amSo Jake was is your point?
March 27th, 2007 at 10:30 amJake,
actually many in Nazi Germany considered Hitler a god, much like Democrats and liberals view and hold Billy Boy Clinton as their god.
March 27th, 2007 at 10:31 amIn the eyes of a true SS and lover of Nazi Germany, Hitle could do no wrong. Much like the liberals and Democrats believe that Clinton can do no wrong.
The same devotions that Democrats have towards their god Clinton is the same devotions that the Nazis had towards Hitler.
March 27th, 2007 at 10:40 amSorry Torture-boy.
Your credibility wouldn't be questioned if you'd just told the truth from the beginning.
March 27th, 2007 at 12:18 pmp.s. some germans thought that hitler was god's emissary in a time of national crisis - none ever thought him to be god.
just like some righty-fundy types in America today believe that bush was (can't contain laughter) "appointed by god" to lead america through the travails of muslim terrorism....
just goes to show how wildly deluded the populations of otherwise first-world countries can become when their leaders twist the truth on a daily basis.
in case anyone didn't appreciate this - a blowjob is about .0000000001% as serious as killing thousands upon thousands of people.
March 27th, 2007 at 12:19 pmHosad at 200: In the eyes of a true SS and lover of Nazi Germany, Hitle could do no wrong. Much like the liberals and Democrats believe that Clinton can do no wrong.
What a load of crap. I can come up with LOTS of things I think Clinton did wrong. Just for a start: reacting to the terrorist bombing of the Murra Federal Building by arrogating a whole bunch of new police powers to the Executive branch, at the expense of weakening civil rights protections. Now who does that remind me of....?
March 27th, 2007 at 1:27 pmThe same devotions that Democrats have towards their god Clinton is the same devotions that the Nazis had towards Hitler.

What utter crap. I can think of dozens of things Clinton did wrong. Such as overreacting to the terrorist bombing of the Murra Federal Building by arrogating even more police powers to the Executive branch at the expense of weakening civil liberties. Now who does that remind me of...
March 27th, 2007 at 1:31 pmshhhh - let howtard have his "episode".
textbook stuff being exhibited here.
much to learn about the minds of the deranged.
come on, howtard, tell us more - run us through the history of western civilization, why dontcha?
March 27th, 2007 at 2:17 pmWe need to get rid of the US Attorneys Old Bush put in place that the Congress did not approve of.
No I would not call Clinton my God. Clinton has done more for this world than Old Bushies will ever do. The only thing Bush has done is put us in a illegal war for OIL and make his cronies richer.

March 27th, 2007 at 4:16 pmThis is a man soon to be without a job that is grabbing at straws...he's as good as gone!
March 27th, 2007 at 6:58 pmJust like Bush promised to fire those who leaked Valerie Plame's identity.
Alberto, your pants are on fire. You may want to look into that.
March 27th, 2007 at 8:51 pmMy post #138 made it back to the land of the living. I wonder if it will last more than 5 minutes from now.
March 27th, 2007 at 9:00 pmThe next scandal is related to the fact that there was a practice of using the Republican National Committee's email addresses to communicate about the firing of the USA-8. This was done to keep incriminating evidence off the White House email server. But the bastards are busted, and Henry Waxman has warned the RNC against destroying any emails on their server lest they face an obstruction of justice charge.
